This type session is wonderful! Some items you simply reinforced what I’ve already learned (the hard way before I found Nisa) I very much appreciate knowing I’m on the right track.
I also see a nutritionist as a patient, and I have great respect for the amount of research you’ve done. Your depth of knowledge is amazing!! Everything the nutritionist advices is in line with your advice 100%. Well done!
p.s. I wish you lived nearby, I would like to show you a couple of my knives.

    1. Air fryer / Microwave
    - homey prefers traditional cooking style and don't own any
    2. Tomato / onion can be cooked on gas flame directly
She don't prefer Roti also in flame directly. Using tava make only. On woodfire/coal is better
    3. Knife - IKEA - ceramic make, delicate
    4. Intermittent fasting - can we practice whole life. She prefers daily, occasionally she breaks it.

It was a Nice Q&A Session madam and I am new to this channel and just subscribed
I am using Conventional Oven ( Quick Coffee for 100 sec at High power and Reheat the food at work for 2 mins )
Currently here in Ottawa. It let me think now about this and also nice points about Health Tips
🗨️ Not using Conventional Ovens - Will give a start
🗨️ Cooking Roti - Using Cast Iron
🗨️ Eating Food with Gratitude without Gadgets - My Favorite
🗨️ Intermittent Fasting - Will try
🗨️ Dals and Grain - Should be Soaked preferably for better Nutrient Absorption
🗨️ Wood pressed Oil - Like the statement helping farmers indirectly
🗨️ Reheating Oil is to be avoided - Create Free Radicals is harmful to the body - Really note this point
🗨️ Chia Seeds and Flax Seeds- Give Omega 3 - I don't know this
Love from Ottawa ( Srini )

i bought a cast iron tawa, i live in a PG. it is very rusty. how do i wash away all the rust. and season it.please let me know.

    • @rao433
      @rao433 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

Apply lil lemon juice and wash with regular soap. Scrub well so that rust is removed. Wipe off excess water and dry it on the flame. Apply lil oil (1-2 tsp) so that the tawa is smeared in oil. Always keep it covered with oil. Once you do chapati/dosay just wipe off excess with a tissue and store it. No need to wash iron tawa everyday. Wash it only once a week to ten days. Also since yours is a cast iron make sure you handle it with care. It'll break if dropped.

Hi Nisha! You’re so down to earth at the same time very much with the times as far as your knowledge goes! I recently joined a Metabolic Clinic where I live (Toronto, ON in Canada) to reverse my Type 2 diabetes. Since the last few months I have reduced my medication dosage as well as brought down my blood sugar levels to prediabetic levels. But still with medication. Let me add, Nisha Homey has been not only been inspirational- but very practical in approach and has given me the best recipes - easily replicable as well as so tasty, I’m learning to replace my local ingredients and getting the authentic flavour! I recommend this channel for everyone, not just diabetics or those with health issues. Now let ma add a request, and please look into it as soon as you are able to Nisha. Could you please post some information and recipes using Nettles - stinging nettles Urtica dioica, please?
