As I started getting older, it popped up in my mind randomly and looked it up, only to find that the original was taken down but Rewritten was up there. And I was finally able to get clothes and all that cool stuff I couldn't get before. Long live club penguin.
I remember going home from middle school and meeting up with my friends irl on club penguin! We'd play the mini games and just sit around and chat til late night...sometimes even discussing our homework through this and msn...good times. ✨🐧
Yall already know if I wasn’t on club penguin as a kid I would’ve been out there on these streets trappin’ LOL. Dumb, weird, and pointless game but I really do miss it. Had some nice memories playing it with my elementary school friends growing up. I even got the club penguin spy game for the Nintendo DS haha
Something weird about Club Penguin was that usually when a big company swoops in and buys out a game like this, it just gets worse, but this wasn't the same. Club Penguin's time under Disney was a thriving time where we were getting update after update improving the game. The only reason it shut down was due to declining interest in general. I am still mad about Pixie Hollow shutting down though.

I hate Disney for closing down the original club penguin, I miss my account...I miss my puffles, and I miss all the clothes, furniture and cool stuff I got from missions.
Club Penguin's death was a significant blow to me personally. I have memories playing it years ago and I was addicted to it then. Not only that, but I also happen to live in the city where they were headquartered in, and I once had the opportunity to visit their offices. I used to know someone who worked there as well (I have no contact with this person now, but I certainly remember him).
I made a Club Penguin account in the 1st grade and continued being a loyal player until maybe 3rd grade. I would always beg my parents to buy me membership and maybe every month or so they would. I continued to log into my old account every so often throughout the years, just to have that nostalgic feeling. Kind of sad that I’ll never get to see my old penguin again.
I loved Club Penguin so much, I remember getting a black belt in the dojo and playing with my 2 puffles and always being jealous of people with rainbow puffles.
Ah, I used to be the biggest collector of the CP merchandise. Books and stuffed animals were the two of my favourites as a kid. I even downloaded the album and got the app on my old iPad back then.
Used to play club penguin back in 2007 as well, and then my friends and I moved on to a bigger and better more “mature” version- Bin Weevils!! Lmao, bin weevils was the best though honestly, I would love to see you cover it. Great video
Club Penguin started off as pretty equal between members and nonmembers. Being a member got you an extra page of clothes to buy, an extra item or two during events, igloo customization, and more puffle variety, but not much else. They really started to push for members to get the bang for their buck over time though, resulting in entire events, minigames and portions of the map limited to members only. They'd even tease nonmembers with the stuff by giving them the first three stages of a minigame and require membership for them to see that only 9 other stages actually existed, and that they were all basically the same. Plus all the original perks began to stack up to the point that members were just sitting on all this stuff and you'd be able to see 100 penguins with none of them wearing the same member-only outfit. It just lost the glitz and glam to be a member when it was basically required and the "perks" weren't noteworthy anymore
Ah yes, the simpler times. Throwing snowballs in the snow forts, playing bean counters, *trying to tip the iceberg*. Club Penguin was so pure and fun, and it gives me so much nostalgia. RIP Club Penguin, you are truly missed by an entire generation.

Club penguin was a big part of my childhood, every day i got out of school i was running all the way home just to play clube penguin and when it got shut down i felt like a part of me died
This game. This. Game. I fucking loved this. I was a member, had 7 puffles, the secret deluxe secret igloo multiple hundred thousand coins (at one point), was an EPF member, and card jitsu black belt in both base and the water version, i had party hat and the entire sports catalogue (for some reason) and every instrument, with a few stamps before i stopped playing. Life was good.
Club Penguin was all the rage in my neighborhood. I remember basically nothing about it except being stuck on one part of a survival game where I needed to rip the pages out of the in-game survival manual as kindling for a fire. That just went against _so_ much of my instincts...and I think that was around when I stopped playing, too.
Club penguin wasent popular at my school but I did play it a bit back in like 2011 or 2010. My cousin got me into the game. He was really into the game like he bought the toys and stickers and crap. Dude had his old windows xp laptop decked out with club penguin stickers. Glad he did because the game was fun and now is a part of my childhood.
Club Penguin was amazing! so many fun hours put into it. It was one of those games where there was always something to do, and always made me look forward to the special holiday events. I remember staying up late at night just to wait for the servers to refresh to be the first to obtain the holiday items etc. I was in 6th grade when it came out and when we had spare time in class everyone jumped on the computers, and joined the same servers to play with and against each other. I also remember how crazy the servers would get when a famous penguin like Rockhopper would pop up and everyone forcefully trying to get into the same room to meet him lmao I was lucky enough to have my older sister pay for my membership. I miss that game so much. disney really did screw it up, they had no idea how to improve on it. the games they made for the DS were absolutely horrible. not everything disney touches turns to gold and club penguin was a clear example

I've seen so many videos on the topics you cover, but every time I just find myself in love with your style, genuineness, and humour. You fucking rock.
I remember playing that minecart game SO much. That and the ice arcade game thingy in the upper floor of the night club.
Yeah, I don’t know what the deal was with that whole penguin craze in the mid-2000s
I used to play Panfu, a similar but less popular game, because i wanted to be edgy and not play normie games lol
same!!! but i had no idea club penguin existed back then and also when i found out about it i actually thought it was a bootleg of panfu omg
It’s still a thing apparently
*YOU GOT BANNED*
**Account FROZEN** (srsly, tho, just bcuz I don't play 4 a year, suddenly my neopets is frozen... What the heck...)
oh
Puffles were So cute. They were just So Cute... (I spent so much on Puffle Merch)
PIXIE HOLLOW! That sent me back! I had completely forgotten about it!
If he’s talking about Club Penguin now, does that mean he’ll cover Webkinz at some point?
Haedox beat him to it
I absolutely loved Club Penguin, and I'm sure everyone else here did too haha. I never had the membership so I had to resort to regular dialogue and the little stickers, was never really able to get anything cool but I didn't care about all that; Adding your friends from school and meeting other people online was super fun.
The secret agent stuff actually felt like you were a secret agent. It was done in such a way that made you feel truly special.
As I started getting older, it popped up in my mind randomly and looked it up, only to find that the original was taken down but Rewritten was up there. And I was finally able to get clothes and all that cool stuff I couldn't get before.
Long live club penguin.
I think I started playing Club Penguin just before they added the EPF (spy stuff) and I played till the day it was shut down
I remember going home from middle school and meeting up with my friends irl on club penguin!
Erikthedood lmaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaao
imma get that stuff on amazon
Something weird about Club Penguin was that usually when a big company swoops in and buys out a game like this, it just gets worse, but this wasn't the same. Club Penguin's time under Disney was a thriving time where we were getting update after update improving the game. The only reason it shut down was due to declining interest in general.
I am still mad about Pixie Hollow shutting down though.
Only OG's will remember when the Dojo didn't have an icon to click on in the map
3:16 "Alright yo. So unfortunately, the mouse shut down the penguin." This made me snort for some reason! XD!
I still have my Club Penguin Card-Jitsu collection to this day! In a binder!
Can't wait for TH-cam was weird
that's actually a great idea. the old layout, the star ratings and the forgotten TH-camrs. That'd be an awesome episode
@@MissingNo99 Well, there is a video (not Billiam's) about a defunct channel known as "GameLife." It does act as a bit of a time capsule for that old layout with the star ratings, and of course, the subject is forgotten TH-camrs.
9:15 **Kicks puffle collection into closet**
Haha... Yeah...
the best part was stalking people, then throwing snowballs at them.
Penguin chat was so chill, I remember actually meeting one of my lifelong friends there
Your channel was such an excellent find for me! You talk about everything I loved growing up and still do mostly! Thank you! Also I’m a big fan of the aesthetic of your recording space/apartment! Can’t wait for the next video!
Club Penguin wasn’t weird, it was innovative?? I guess? In a way it was ahead of its time.
I remember when I was little, i felt so devious signing up for club penguin with my own email instead of my mom's and then having her approve it. ah, simpler times
Sometimes I want to die then I watch Billiam videos about the things that once brought me joy and I forget the pain.
i played the heck out of this and i joined before the spy agency stuff started so it was cool to figure out the phone booth secret and then it was even better when card-jutsu came out
plot twist the people who made club penguin rewritten secretly work for disney
We were robbed of Card-jitsu: Shadow
And now Club Penguin is still alive in rated r form called Club Penguin shut down it's on TH-cam it's awesome
R.I. P Club Penguin. It was my favourite game by far and I loved the detail in it
I must confess, as usual, I loved the bad guy.
Herbert P. Bear, Esq. was an amazing character!
I used to love the lore in general
As someone way too old to have ever gotten into Club Penguin, this was very educational. Spiffy.
i really appreciate the frequency of your uploads. Keep up the good work man!
Awesome video. Thanks for playing.
i remember always playing a bootleg club penguin called *_Panfu._* It was also shut down with a few fan projects re-launched. but it was alot less dramatic, people just seized to exist and i remember playing on it shortly before it was shut down and people on the internet gathered like flies to a dead animal wondering what on earth happened. i still wanna know the entire song list and who actually sang those songs in the jukebox.
I played Panfu too lmao
I hate Disney for closing down the original club penguin, I miss my account...I miss my puffles, and I miss all the clothes, furniture and cool stuff I got from missions.
me too! I want my money back ! D:
I used to play club penguin on mobile until I got a PC
It played a huge role in my childhood
Club Penguin's death was a significant blow to me personally. I have memories playing it years ago and I was addicted to it then. Not only that, but I also happen to live in the city where they were headquartered in, and I once had the opportunity to visit their offices. I used to know someone who worked there as well (I have no contact with this person now, but I certainly remember him).
I used to love Hannah and the Pirate Caves
Heck yeah! That and the gem-minecart one I can't remember the name of! Those were the best!
Do a video about Adventure Quest World. Cuz the developers are hungry for money 😂😂
Hi im MJ
Oh shit I used to play that. What’s up with the developers?
Club Penguin was literally my life from 2009 to 2015. Rest in peace, old friend.
You: Tubing
Me, An Intellectual: Hydro Hopper
Me, even more of an intellectual: "Ballistic Biscuit!"
OH MY GOD. I'VE BEEN TRYING TO FIND EXPERIMENTAL PENGUINS FOREVER. I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST A WEIRD DREAM. THANK YOU!!
glad this helped!
sometimes I play club penguin rewritten just to remember how easy my life was
When society was in a simpler time.
So essentially Disney put all their eggs in one basket, but then people stopped caring about Club Penguin, and so they stop playing. Great job Disney
your channel is awesome. keep the great work going
3:52 OMG ITS THORN!!! (He’s an admin for CPR)
I remember getting bullied off of Club Penguin because I didn't have a membership but I loved Pixie Hollow I miss it
Yooooo anyone else going around chatrooms to find the pirate penguin and the aunt penguin and like their signature?? Shit was wylding
sometimes it was impossible to do! lmao
omg you finally reminded me of what game i played so much when i was young, VMK. i could never figure it out and i’ve been trying to remember for so long now lmfao
Club Penguin Rewritten is so popular that Screenhog (who worked on the original) did some music for them.
I was more of a ToonTown Online guy, but I respect the impact that Club Penguin made. Maybe that could be a good topic.
Great video and rip club penguin you are missed
