Can i ask how long it should take? Im habing a bad flare up of symtoms and on week 3 of keto, not noticing much difference at the moment
It will vary person to person and it’s important to appreciate the diet isn’t for everyone and in fact can make some feel worse. If you haven’t felt anything after 3 weeks it might not be necessary for you, in my opinion. 🙏
I still have flares of colitis, yet I'm still much better when on the protocols
What about carnivore diet to heal the guts?🙏
Ooh, I’ll get the book. I’m in my 50s working with men half my age, so I KNOW fatigue is a norm.
I’m also interested in the mentality that maximizes performance, one step beyond a triage mindset for broken metabolism.
Fasting is not good for Hashimotos Thyroiditis
Fasting does not solve gut issues!!! I have hefty problems with my gut. Intermittent which I do normally nor a 3-day fast have not improved my gut at all…
I'm sorry to hear that. My view is that fasting certainly won't help all gut problems but many do find it very helpful. Have you investigated what might be causing your problems?
True, milk is for the young. However, homemade made long fermented yoghurt is great. Better than any linseed bread 🍞 😅
@@juliamanning2658- since my answer, I have realized I have MCAS 🫣😫 So no fermented food 😭
Would be good to see a nutritional therapist? It also depends on what you eat when you break your fast and if you are drinking enough water. If you are deficient then do not fast and focus on nourish your body first. (I am a naturopath. Just given my professional opinion)
