I love sonic's immaturity in this game. The "YAHOO!"s, the constant "I got this!" like remarks, and him just generally being rowdy even in danger is what I love about this game's depiction of sonic.
Secret Rings is one of the few Sonic games I still can't bring myself to beat, the game feels like such a slog. Did you actually max out Sonic or did you download a completed save file?
Downloaded 100% save, no way I'd unlock all that myself lmao (probably the hardest Sonic game to 100% anyway next to Advance 2 imo). Played through it a couple of times myself in the past, but can understand your feelings. Probably one of the last Sonic games I'd bring myself to playthrough nowadays though because of all the pointless missions you have to go through...

@@JesusMowsMaLawn Glad Black Knight improved upon those though. Sure there are filler missions there too, but the game is a lot shorter, so it balances it out. Plus the gameplay in general is just way improved tbh.

Sonic prior to the boost formula in this game was insanely fast. THIS is some good speed representation.

It's not, it's always a stable 30 FPS. Hell, via Gecko Codes, the Wii runs this at 60 FPS most of the time, with Sand Oasis being an exception

Sonic and the Secret Rings had such an awesome story, really is a shame that the gameplay was so weird, otherwise the game was fantastic in every way
