As a helicopter powertrain mechanic/jet engine mechanic who has done the research and the hands on for excellent real gun marksmanship, your explanation makes perfect sense and makes me more eager and comfortable to upgrade my rifles.
Dude I just want to say thanks. Before this video i knew absolutely nothing about this stuff, and now i feel somewhat like a genius when it comes to this!!!! Thank you so much!
This is the best break down in terms of upgrading internals. After this video I pretty much have most for accuracy in my gun already. but because you opened my eyes I might lower my spring to a 110 and get a speed motor for faster shots and a set of high set gears like Prometheus. How does this sound I would like your feed back
This is very good and i love how everything is explained very well and made very simple. Although it costs about 400 to fully upgrade it and that's only if you buy the cheapest upgrades 😭. Then what's the point in buying the most expensive gun if you're gonna change all the internals anyway? I guess you only buy for the shell and then i say buy the cheapest full metal gun and swap everything out. Also what will you do with all the stock internals that you took out? I guess you could sell them and get some of your money back but who will buy it? I'm probably gonna only upgrade accuracy, durability and some compression.
just buy shs upgrades. And yes, for most people upgrading the accuracy makes the most sense. Shim and grease your gearbox is also cheap. Sorbo pads will also help making the gun more quiet and correct the aoe. Also get a new motor (more expensive upgrade) for potential higher rof/fps and again more quiet.
If I was to just upgrade my spring to an M120 and use a Prometheus purple bucking with a flathop a bullgear m249 Hop up unit and an 11.1 would I need to upgrade anything else?
i think if u have a mosfet in ur gun and run it with a lipo you should be good,,,assuming u have a decent stock aeg and ur gears come reinforced,,,im putting just a mosfet and a m120 spring in my elite force CFR , i already got a blue shark hop up bucking and a madbull tight bore barrel, i may put in a new motor too. i dont wanna open the gearbox though
Remember: This is very generalised. Not everything is A and B. Don't use this video as a guide on how to perfectly upgrade your gun, use it as a starter guide on how to BEGIN upgrading your gun. Most categories he mentioned go way deeper with many more variables to take into consideration. Just saying.
Hey man! I recently bought an Umarex UMP 45 elite (my second airsoft gun) because I didn't want an M4, but still needed a reliable cqb gun. However, the rof on it is ~8rps, which is terrible for cqb, any advice on what I should buy to make it shoot faster? (without gaining fps) Thanks!
Obese Dragon The UMP utilizes a V3 gearbox, but you should not be getting 8rps unless you're running on some AA batteries lol. A typical AEG stock with an 8.4v shoots about 12+. To increase your RPS I would first recommend a battery with a higher amperage as your motor is being power deprived! What type of battery are you using?
Hey, I was wondering if there was any advice on specific products? I want to upgrade a pretty basic M4 on the cheap. I was going to get an angel airsoft custom tightbore, and G&P M120 High Speed motor and a green hopup bucking. I was thinking that this would improve accuracy and rof without touching power which would allow me to forgo all of the durability upgrades. thoughts?
Oscar Rodriguez depending on how much you're willing to put into it, I would install a TBB, flat hop bucking, (hop-up's are picky with scar's so you might not want to upgrade it), and for power get a full metal teeth piston and an M120. That will put your gun at about 400+ FPS. If your field limits are 400 then I would suggest an M115 or lower. Your total FPS output will vary depending on barrel diameter, compression, and spring power. Hope this helps you some!
I literally marked down all the instructions word for word. Thank you. Nice joke attempt. The attempt was good. To the add and then recorrect yourself. That was comic. I literally took every single word because every bit of it has valuable knowledge and it mattered. Thanks a lot. I spent hours and took breaks and then marked down literally every detailed word of knowledge in this video which every detailed mattered. I almost bought high powered airgun, but decided its best to do it myself. As I wouldn't be sure of the knowledge of the individuals putting it together especially from a third world country which only method of payment was direct fund deposit into their bank account number. Sketchy. Now I will go about it myself.
When talking about compression and air seal it’s not a case of more air down the barrel gives you more range and accuracy that makes no sense you can only utilise the amount of air that will get you up to your FPS limit you explain this badly. The reason good air seal and compression helps with accuracy is it will give you a consistent amount of air per each shot. A gun with good compression will give you the most consistent FPS readings from shot to shot leading to more consistent shots. The Nozzle is also an important part of that system. Also you don’t explain how having an oversized cylinder will produce joule creep when using a heavier bb. Honestly most of what you said is ok but not really explained as accurately as it could be.
I like the waterfall in the back
@Bennett Kingsley nah he's just filming in the toilet

Great way to put the info in, thanks you. If you can trhow some images in the video to show what you are talking about, it would
Be an amazing video
This video was sooooo helpful, I’m definitely doing most of these upgrades
Extremely helpful! I’m trying to get into airsoft because my younger brother did and didn’t have a whole lot of prior knowledge, thanks man!
Nozzle length and alignment to bucking is pretty important too
End song: Tristam & Braken - Flight
Can you do a series of these for GBB pistols?
Relatively small airsoft channels are the best imo
Perfect vídeo for people whos starting out the hobby
Great content! I’m looking to upgrade my cm16 srs and this was very helpful.

If you’re looking for trigger response go with a high TPA motor, if you want ROF go with a low TPA motor
THANK YOU SO MUCH :DDDDDD
Dom McGee No problem :) glad I can help
WolfAirsoftGaming hello, I need some expert advice to upgrade my aeg, can I contact you through email?
Briliant vid ❤️❤️ spent ages trying to find it again as i want to do a arp9 ssg build
what is the track name at the end? it reminds me of my childhood...
thank you for making this
DUDE YOU'R AWESOME. Clear
So for me to make my gun shoot faster and turn it into a minigun would that be the motor.
Very informative
What is the most durable ~400fps (0.2g bb) setup? I want to build one backup AEG that is very reliable.
Really helpful man
Hey for durability what would it be for snipers thank you

get a specna arms. They're a good base to upgrade from. And good quality externals.
I REALLY NEEDED THIS FOR MY LPEG
Hi I just was wondering if all m4 parts are interchangeable
NITO VAPEZZ some brands are part specific so you have to shop and look up compatibility
If I was to just upgrade my spring to an M120 and use a Prometheus purple bucking with a flathop a bullgear m249 Hop up unit and an 11.1 would I need to upgrade anything else?

Great and helpfull guide thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dean's and 13:1 gears with a 30k motor
11.1 deans
I’m trying to get a gun with a really high rate of fire and FPS around 350-400. What motor, spring, and gears should I get.
Shs high torque motor, shs 12:1 or 13:1 gearset, shs m120 spring

I would flat hop as well and get a mosfet if possible
Hey bro i wanna upgrade a dboys scar l and i want good accuracy and durability and some what power.
What do you suggest i should upgrade?

Should I upgrade krytac compression parts?
Buy SHS
MAXX is also great
