Can you believe people signed up to fight in WW2 after 1939? That’s mind blowing and would never happen surely, because as we all know things don’t exist anymore after the mainstream media shuts up about them for more than 12 seconds 🤡
It’s almost like there’s good people who want to help a country defend itself against a communist horde. But you wouldn’t actually fight for your beliefs so I don’t expect you to understand
Truthfully, anyone staying back is the problem. Cowards with no real regard for freedom or liberty who would rather see the Jack boots of an autocrat trample those less fortunate than them. Russia is an antithesis to the liberties and civil freedoms that we in the west take for granted and haven’t had to truly fight for as far back as living memory goes, yet most of us stand back to allow this antithesis to take more ground due to motives that goes against our very being. Politics shouldn’t matter when it’s a matter of human decency and the protection of our rights that someone like Putin wants to revoke by force, if not today then tomorrow, and those who have or plan to go out and fight are the only people truly doing the right thing here. So how does it compute that the only people standing up to oppression by a tyrant, the only patriots of democracy and liberty are somehow “unwanted” in the supposed home of these ideas? Quite simply, they shouldn’t be, but people with far too much money in real estate have convinced us that our fellow countrymen and random border hoppers are the problem, and not a nation that actively vies to undermine and destroy all we hold dear.
I personally wouldn’t be taking pictures or vids for a number of reasons . Speaking from an intelligence standpoint . I understand wanting to have memories and all that ( you will have things you never forget anyway) but it’s a huge risk for your unit and family . Make sure your pics are not geolocated ( that is a default on setting with androids ) . No one knows the long term political effects of this war and how it will be viewed in a decade . I would leave the smallest digital trail that you can . Be smart about this . I know your generation is very digitally connected , but this will prove to be a mistake . Another thing to remember is that every town you go through will have locals that don’t agree with your side . Someone will recognize the location of your pic or vid. This is someone else’s war make sure no one knows you were there when you leave to go back home . Just some advice .
@ncrdwlf Thanks for the tips. But fuck that. Record everything. Per opsec most of wat u see is XX months old. Geolocate all ya want. And in america, we have pretty much the same weapons as in Unit. Minus the explosives. Stop on by
just pack it into ur luggage. So many people keep asking about this. Just simply internet seach tsa travel rules. or call em. You can fly with guns man. Why would u not be able to fly without guns?
@@pinkeypie1966 you can fly domestically in the US with guns in a checked bag, unloaded in a locked hard case assuming the specific gun is legal in the state you're flying to. Id assume the legion won't let you bring your own guns for a myriad of reasons like logistics and safety issues. You'd also have to get the proper paperwork to export the gun from the US import the gun to Poland and then exported out of Poland and imported into Ukraine. You can fly with whatever gear you want, you could even bring body armor in a carry on in the US however it's open to the TSA discretion so not guaranteed. Body armor regulations differ in Europe but generally soft armor is legal in the EU.

@ alrighty good to know because I was wondering how much u brought from home and how much you’ve bought in Ukraine
Loved it. You should do a vid on what's on a war bag or ammo bag, what do you bring for a 24 or 72 hr mission . You doing a Instagram anytime soon
I have a krydex chest rig as well I was wondering how well the brand held up in combat or under real stress but never seen anyone in a active war using krydex only small TH-camrs making a review I really hope they are holding up well and worth it bc I’ve been looking at American brands but I know krydex is cheaper

Why did you leave?
@ My dad got hurt and needed surgery back home while I was there. Tore his bicep while doing a call, as a firefighter. He’s not married or anything and I’m the only help he’s got. I plan to go back to Ukraine when he’s fully recovered, he’ll be back to 100% in January and has already been doing pretty well.

If you don’t mind me asking, what do Americans fighting in Ukraine get paid?
Salary is split into 3 parts during the month. And depends on if ur in combat and on front or not. 500 usd is base pay and goes up to 3000 usd if in combqt
@@AlexanderMachiavelli3000 a pay? Like 3 times a month? Or 3000 for the entire month? Thanks.
Did you take the knifes with you and helmets as how did you get through security at the airport or did you get the weapons and helmets when you was in Ukraine
no I brought everything with me. In america we have what are called "rights". And u can fly with knives and guns
where do you keep all your stuff? i assume you dont bring it all on the front but where do you store it
The battalions have a location to keep ur belongins in that u dont want to take with u here or there.
@AlexanderMachiavelli is it an actual building or vehicles that follow you?
if it's a building do you have to travel back there every time you need to pick something from there?
Love these videos. Are you able to do a video talking about the kinds of optics, night vision, thermals, etc. you've seen and how they're employed?
yessir
Great video 🫡 Can you do a review on krydex or amazon type kit? Also where’s your green flannel from? And why you decided to join? God bless.
I have WW2 repro/original gear that works perfectly fine can I bring that?
lol
@oggaBugga what's wrong with that? They are durable and work well
Yea u can if ud like. Therr is no requirement for gear and u can wear what u want man. So sure. Thats interesting.
@@AlexanderMachiavelli I have original mess kit dated 1943 that works and a bunch of M1 pouches I can use to hold a bunch of things in them thanks!!
This is really helpful. Do you recommend bringing an optic or Night vision/thermals? That's one of the few things where I've heard conflicting information.
yeah, but u might lose it or ask to be used by other people of your team while you are in rotation, like you go out and then come back and have 3 days off, during that time other guys from your team will go out so they might need it
@@mjj3734 i would. But honestly it really depends on where you are going and who u are enlisting with. Some units wont use nightvision much. Others do. Infantry vs. Specialized unit or recon ya know. Many guys in my unit had there own stuff and ya we let ewchother use stuff but NOONE ever losed things. People dont steal stuff or anything like that. Especially in more dynamic units you guys are very close and can trust eachother with your lives so a piece of equiptment is not a problem.

@@AlexanderMachiavelli were you able to bring over nods- with itar? or did you figure out a way to get it in country

Baby wipes. Way more versatile then tp
I hate babywipes. And cannt recommed a moist booty hole for combat. But i appreciate the recommendation
is it more common for guys to wear plate carriers or armor carriers and why? is it by choice or because of availability
What kinda question is that? It’s common because it’s fucking armor. You’d probably want that if being shot at is likely.
@BryceKimball7.3 Retard i mean if its more common to wear plate carriers or armor carriers, assuming you know what the difference is

Hey man! I know you said there’s all types of plates in Ukraine but it’s kind of hard to come by small lvl 4 ceramics (8.75”x 11.75”). Do you know if they have any of those there I’m thinking about buying them before I head over.
I just got some Small Sapis from Highcom for around ~400ish on Apex Armor Solutions (speaking from an American position)
For Ukraine, there’s apparently a bunch of shops in Kyiv selling body armor (there’s a list somewhere on Reddit of Shops to look at and shops to avoid)
Yea man im sorry i didnt even mention plate sizing. Honestly ive never had anyone around me who was trying to find a certain size plate. Let me ask and get back to you on ur question.
@@AlexanderMachiavelli Appreciate it man if it’s too much of a bother don’t worry about it 🤙🏽 stay safe brother.
Buy your body armor beforehand. Make sure its level 4. Take the label off before you board your flight, sometimes guards in Poland will not let you pass if its level 4.
I can't believe there are still foreign volunteers going this late in the game. This has got to be State Dept recruiting, there ain't no way 😐
Can you believe people signed up to fight in WW2 after 1939?
That’s mind blowing and would never happen surely, because as we all know things don’t exist anymore after the mainstream media shuts up about them for more than 12 seconds 🤡
It’s almost like there’s good people who want to help a country defend itself against a communist horde. But you wouldn’t actually fight for your beliefs so I don’t expect you to understand
Damn bro, posting a selfie on a youtube spam channel is wild work😂
I also was wondering what guns are issued in Ukraine if u didn’t bring your own weapon
You cannot bring ur own weapon at all. And depends where u end up but of course AK's, 74 and 47's. M4's HK's, FALs, AR15's, Grots etc.

Stop on by
what would you say the casualty rate is in your experience
How do you get all this on a plane? Serious question or how does that work
Why would you not be able to bring this on a plane???
just pack it into ur luggage. So many people keep asking about this. Just simply internet seach tsa travel rules. or call em. You can fly with guns man. Why would u not be able to fly without guns?
So you can fly with guns but not bring your own weapon?
