    Hi AWAY4K! I've been riding a TRK502 without an X for nearly 5 years now. It's still a first series moto. Even the TRK502 is fun to ride on dirt, gravel roads. Very comfortable vehicle and so far reliable.

    This was a fantastic video! I've been looking at the 502x to ride some back country here in Kentucky, USA. This looks like it'll fit the bill nicely, at a stellar price.
    Could watch riding videos like these all day long, very well done!

    Another great video Michael. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Good tyre advice. I've just bought a Lioncino Trail with Metzeler Tourance tyres and am hoping they will be OK for some light (dry) off roading.

    • @mototouro
      @mototouro  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Kevin.
      Should be ok, as long as it's not too muddy, or clay
      Well...you saw the hill I went up! Gopro doesn't show just how steep and gnarly that hill was.
      Leoncino trail will be fun for sure 😃

      @@mototouro I'm looking at the tyre options for it, have you have much experience with the Continental TKC70, Dunlop Trailmax Mission or Pirelli Scorpion Trail II?

    • @mototouro
      @mototouro  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@robertowen8919 Have used Pirelli scorpion's in the past and thought they were an excellent product, however there's probably not a lot of difference to the stock Metzler tourance.
      The Pirelli MT 90 tread pattern looks like a good all round option.

    To all you "castle mainers", howdie. I've got the yellow TRK X model, plus the 752s naked and I'm loving em both. My TRK's called Buzz cos it's yellow and my 752s is called Rex cos it reminds me of a terrier. I'm yet to take Buzz orff road.

    Hi there! I have seen a lot of videos about benlli trk 502 - could it be an off-road option? is it as reliable as Suzuki or Yamaha? how do you find it?

    • @mototouro
      @mototouro  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Ceva, great question. There is already a full on and off road test on this bike on my channel, take a look at that, or alternatively, I will be uploading a long term test and review on the TRK 502X tomorrow which should answer most of your questions.
      Short answer however is that it is in my opinion the best value bike of it's type on the market today.

    It is good to see the TRK is so capable. I just got mine a couple of months ago after a decade of not riding.
    My background is sport bikes and JSM so learning to ride a heavy bike on gravel and dirt has been a fun experience but I am loving it. I am glad I went with a lower power ADV to learn on.

      That's fantastic kj, the TRK502X really is a great bike for the money, it's definitely the most comfortable touring bike I have ever owned, and it's fun too.
      A little on the heavy side, but that's really not an issue most of the time.

    Beautiful part of the country you have to explore... and the Benelli seems like almost.. Almost the perfect bike to do it on.
    Better tyres, and maybe another 10HP and it would be perfect. But for the Price that these are coming in at. You're going to be hard pressed to find anything else.
