A tip, if you buy a bold colour that you love but you are not confident to wear full-on colour, you can a apply a little bit of the colour and blend it in, you can work your way up to a full coverage when you get more confident.
Sira Mea Applying it over lip balm also sheers out a color. Or, try patting it on with your finger and then rubbing your lips together back and forth, in and out, to get a stain effect.
When it looks washed out then mix with somewhat darker shade and if it's too dark then first apply on hand and dab on the lips and slowly mix with lighter shade..
Something I don’t see mentioned often is how the natural colour of your lips affect the shades that you can wear. If you have fairly pigmented lips, even if you are fair in skintone, paler lipsticks will make you look sickly and bloodless, like when people put concealer on their lips to take out the colour.
Diana Dai I have this problem too. I am very fair with grey blue eyes and red lips. I wish they were pink. I have to use full coverage lipstick to hide my natural lip colour.
Bang on! The standard set of rules are based on ideal (and not real) skin conditions, unfortunately, and cater only to a small subset of the population. Which is why I do my facial makeup (whatever little I wear) after I wore clothes and basic jewelry. Whether it is eyeshadow or lipstick, if I look in the mirror (with clothes and jewelry in perspective) and it looks decent, I keep it; if not, I tweak it. We can always mix shades to arrive at the right shade. And this is what normal women do :)
Susan Crawford I have quite dark mauvey lips, and I find that I look best in lip shades that are equal or more intense in tint than my bare lips - the exact colour is less important than the intensity of the pigment and the amount of white in it. Any lipstick with a hint of white in it will look chalky and “painted on”, and because you can usually see my dark lips peeking out through the lipstick.
Jyothirmayi Sharma yep, I usually have to test my makeup against an outfit too. I think that should go for all women - it helps you work out the balance of colours and how much “made-up-ness” you’re going for. Jewellery is an interesting one. I wear gold, silver and rose gold jewellery, sometimes mixing metals, because I have a mix of cool and warm undertones (though warm is more dominant). It’s interesting how different metals play off against different colours in outfit and makeup!
I hope that beauty companies will come to the point when they‘ll mark their products as C, N or W like some of them finally do with their foundations! Don‘t know why customer orientation is such an issue 😏
Seriously! I just bought a concealer from L'Oreal and it's with WARM on it, so much easier and it's perfect with my skin. :) Hope they are all going to be doing this soon!
In the early 1980s my grandmother sold Avon makeup and all of the products were clearly marked with either a C, W or N depending on whether it was cool, warm or neutral, I have always wondered why other makeup companies didn't do that for their products, good to hear they are beginning to jump into the early 1980s Avon makeup sales tactics hahaha!
Hi Justine! My I suggest for you to make a video about materials combinations, like does leather goes with wool or some other combo is better, or maybe about textures and what goes well together? Thank you for the time you share with us followers :)
There's something so relaxing about your videos. I love your accent, your voice and mostly, how you manage to go deep into the fashion industry without compromising your essence. Thanks for all the good quality videos!
Justine....always so helpful and wonderful! There is a clear difference between her videos and other videos, she actually helps you understand what would work for you and what not, rather than some generic tips.
I'm fair neutral and leaning to cool! For years I thought I was just cool, but recently I embraced a bit more warm looks and I'm loving it. It's not as easy for neutrally toned people as you may think, because people are rarely perfect neutral. I would love your take on it sometime, Justine.
My perfect shade is a dusty rose. Any lipstick in a medium mauve pink perfectly compliments my skin. I get the most compliments when I wear a red that is only slightly to the purple side.
seattlegrrlie Dusty rose matches my lip color. I have neutral skin, tending toward warm. Most people react best to my look when I'm wearing a coral-pink lipstick, even though a make-up artist thought I was nuts. I'm not sure why she said that; I'm a Warm Spring, and that color is in my range.
Same! Dusty, soft rose colors suit me so well. I used to wear red, but the older I get (and the less I’m in the sun), the less it seems to suit me. I’m fair, a soft summer, blonde, and blue-eyed.
Seattlegrrlie... Same but also I think I m warm toned as gold jewelry suit well on my skin , also I have veins blue & mostly green.. I m confused urghhh
Yay! I love red lipstick! I always wear a very bright and slightly warm red because my lips are naturally dark and pigmented, it balances it self out and gives me a classic red somehow haha
Very well done Justine. Sometimes it is hard to determine the cool and warm pinks. Also this could be applied to picking blush colours. Love your videos xo
This is literally the most helpful video I've ever seen on determining lip color! By far more helpful than any Sephora, Ulta, or beauty brands employee has ever been! Your video on how to identify undertones applied to this definitely makes me feel more confident when choosing now! Thank you!!
I'm always wearing orange red lipstick, the one Mac calls chilli. It has a good contrast with my jet black skin of mine😄. Now I've ordered a pixie platinum blond (white) wig, I can't wait to see the contrast😄😅. Nervous even.
I always end up with a dusty rose gloss for day, maybe a slightly stronger muted pinky berry mauve shade for evening outings. As a pastel leaning Summer (colour me beautiful) person, I don't like bright matt lipsticks - even ones that are in my palette. Winters look best with bright shades, I think.
Justine. Be advice. I ve struggled for years and bought scores of lipstick s over the years that were totally different when I got home!! This is soooo useful. I am a firm fan of your fashion advice thank you so much x
at last I own it, your Revlon Wine with everything....after 55 years wearing lipsticks one of the best colours for me ( dark toned olive winter).Thx a lot, Birgit
I've been watching your videos for a couple weeks. They are all so well put together. Easy to follow along with useful advice and info. You have such a lovely persona. I love how each video can be watched alone or on a binge. I tend to watch a few in succession that relate to each other and get better inspired on how to carry out a look and expand my personal style. Thank you for all your work.
I haven't even watched the video yet, but I wanted to say thank you for the regularly-uploaded interesting content! It's become almost a ritual for me: sunday coffee + Justine's video. :) Greetings from Latvia!
This is my favourite video of yours so far Justine! I am a absolute lover of lipsticks, to the point where I have a makeup bag which contains all my lip products, which is as big as my other makeup bag which contains everything else (i.e. foundation, blusher, mascara, highlighters, eyeshadows etc). I have probably every shade of most colours you could think of (except crazy colours like blue or green or something like that). I tend to gravitate towards cool reds as I have a cool undertone, but when the summertime begins I tend to reach for more warmer colours just for fun. Love this video, I would love to see your lipstick collection! Love from the uk 🇬🇧 xxx
Pamela&Steven En China I have the same problem but was able to find a great red today based on the swatch technique in this video. I bought a color that was too pink yesterday, so I went back to the store and compared other colors to that color until I found one that didn’t look pink at all. It was much more orange than I would usually buy, but when I tried it on at home it was perfect!
Jill Radcliffe I wanted to start with less expensive lipsticks since I knew they might not look good. NYX chic red looked good on my arm but was too pink, but NYX perfect red looked orange on my arm and was perfect on my face!
Hi Justine. Lipstick shades are so tricky. Thank you for your tips! You're so right, lights matter. I bought so many lipsticks from well-lit department stores that were different shades when I got home!! Love your videos. Cannot wait for the next one xx
Thank you for the great tips on finding the correct shade of red lipstick. I'm warm undertone and have the hardest time finding the right red for me. Most that look like a basic classic red in the tube, when I put them on are way to blue. I have to go way over on the orange side for it to look like a true red once I apply it. I like your tip on keeping the lipstick that didn't work and taking it with you the next time you shop for lipstick as a reference for what to stay away from. I have fair skin, and have found I can't go too dark like you said, but I also find that light gloss tends to wash me out. This was great thank you for taking the time to do this Justine. BTW your skin looks radiant today.
So good! Justine, you explain things in a way that is interesting and easy to understand. You have a gift of teaching, as well as your design talents. Thank you so very much!
Undertone is so important. I wanted a bright pink and everything I tried made me look ill. Then the girl at the counter gave me a lipstick labeled as 'raspberry' but it looks pink on me! Nice video!
I have been picking lipsticks intuitively and it has been working well, looking back at my purchases I have only one lipstick on the warmer side, the rest is in the middle or cool tones which really justify my pale coller skin tone. Any color with a hint of pink looks well with me n does not stand out too much too.
The warm toned lipstick suits my warm undertone, however it makes my teeth appear more yellow. If I choose cool toned lipstick to tone down my slightly yellow teeth, it doesn't suit my warm undertone and makes my skin looks off. What should I do?
I just realized from watching this video how much my favorite lip colors lean towards the cool end of the spectrum. I like dark pinks and they are usually a bit on the purplish side. I also really like the texture of tinted chapsticks. They don't feel as thick on my lips as some lipsticks and they are great as I tend to have dry skin.
Bonjour Justine. Great. ..as usual! Personnally as I m very picky with ingredients, I use only lipstick pencils, then I put my home made lipbalm with beewax and vegetal oils....So I end up creating my own color and it s very nourrishing. And the trick is to find the right color of pencil.
Thank you for a very good video! With all your videos about colour and undertones, you've helped me understand why I'm drawn to certain colours in clothing and makeup. I've unconsciously chosen the colours that fit my skin tone. :) I would love to see another lipstick video about how to choose more nude colours for your lips, because I find that even harder than the red colours.
True, nudes are hard. I wonder how they would show on camera, because the camera makes colors look a bit different from reality... I will have to try...
Thanks for the tip about Lisa Eldridge, will check that out. And yes, the camera colours might make it difficult... It would still be helpful to get to know more about which nude colours goes with which skin tone!
This is so informative! Turns out, the day I watched this video, I was wearing a sample red Matte gloss from YSL, beautiful red simply amazing texture & orange based, and completely wrong color for me! And, I had been walking around most of the day probably looking like a clown. Thank you for giving me a direction towards finding my go-to red lip color!
In Ireland for a local brand called No 7, they have machine kind of thing in-store which finds your exact shade of foundation you need and based on the foundation they will also give a pallete of lipsticks that will suit you. I found it helpful.
Merci Justine! This video is right on time! I'm repurchasing make up at the moment and lipstick was the next thing on my list. I'm a brand new subscriber, just found you a week ago and have been going through all your videos. Honestly, I never used to subscribe to anyone on TH-cam. Je suis francaise aussi, a l'etranger depuis longtemps et j'adore vraiment ton etat d'esprit dans lequel je me retrouve beaucoup. Keep it up!
I don't leave my bedroom let alone my house without my red lippy. I can wear blue toned reds and true reds, but never warm reds. After kissing a lot of lipstick frogs over the years my all time fave red is Chic Red by NYX. Thanks Justine, for yet another thought provoking video. :)
Thank you for this video Justine. I have had a lot of questions about what lipsticks to wear and up until now I have not felt confident in this area. It helps that I share your taste and your skin tone. Now I will know what shades to wear and what will most flatter me.
I always thought that I have a warm undertone because I rock browns and golds on my eyes and it looks amazing, while silver and blues on my eyes make me look weird. BUT I love lipsticks on the cool side and those on the warm side, I like gold jewelery as much as silver, tending to silver and white makes me look radiant. So I figured I am neutral. After all, my veins look both blue-ish and green-ish. Thanks for the video!
I liked your advice on trying new colors in sheer versions! Cool colors generally suite me better but when my hair is warm golden in summer, I enjoy warm lipstick more. So I somehow range from cool, deeper winter shades to warm ones in summer season.
You are right about the part where you said there are other factors that influence the look of a lipstick. Its not just your undertone. It could be your clothes, hair color, the rest of your make up, your personality or even the day of your menstrual cycle. It might sound crazy but holds true for me 😃.
I like your video and you look fabulous in the garment you are wearing (especially the beautiful color). I appreciate your help with what is, for me, difficult subjects that I don’t fully understand. I have learned a lot from your videos. Thank you.
I like to layer my colors instead of just wearing one shade, so I have a number of colors that I keep to achieve the color I like. And BTW I really like your videos so informative and so friendly. Thanks!!
I’ve been using Chanel’s Rouge Coco 05 and classic skin colour for years, but now find that Chanel’s 434 is a better fit for more mature, paler skin tone. It is not too dark, but not too loud or harsh for daytime. Tried many others, but can’t find a good “fit” so I went back to Chanel colours
Super helpful! I've definitely gotten into the hang of precision with color schemes and/or certain cosmetic shades, except am more iffy on lipstick shades. To the point where I feel lip balms and/or glosses, or lining may be nice (though I care in having lipsticks that suit me). I notice warm, orange shades suit me very nicely, nearly nude in appearance but in a warm tone. I'll def. try this method, thank you Justine!
Very useful video! I am def warm toned but I always gravitate towards cool tones, for hair colours, clothes, nail polish and lipstick too! I need to watch more of your videos and think more before I buy xD
Great video and examples. Experimentation is really important. I have light olive skin with green veins and my skin turns golden when tanned. But orange-toned lipsticks make me look washed out and dead, drain the life right out of my complexion. I can wear purples and wines like nobody's business, but didn't figure that out until trying all kinds of colors. : )
Great channel with some amazing, practical tips for women around the world - and really easy to follow! I am Indian. I am definitely trying them on my next shopping trip for clothes.
Dear Justine, thank you thank you, for your wonderful videos. You provide wonderfully helpful, practical thoughts without breaking the bank. I really like to tune in! My coloring is very similar to yours. I am wondering how you are able to get your hair so long, rich in color, so beautiful and healthy looking? I have been dealing with hair loss around my temples and the crown of my head. It’s getting worse! I have watched some videos regarding protective, hair care, historical hair care, for healthy longer hair growth. Do you have any tips? Thank you again, Sarah 😊
Hey Justine!! I just probably watched all your videos relating to colour and fashion and tones... And I AM AMAZED by what all I learnt!! You explained it all so simply and all the confusion regarding what to wear and which red lipstick is down to a simple concept. Thank you sooo much!! I have a question though, what about black and white? Do the suit warm undertones people?
After going through all the lipsticks I own, I've found that in order to find the colour I want I need to get something slightly warmer and lighter than what I'm thinking of getting (eg. reds with a bit of orange, or pinks with coral) as my spring complexion makes lipsticks look cooler and darker than how they look on their own. It's good to know when you're unable to swatch the lipsticks
Justine, this is valuable information as usually AND YOU LOOK STUNNING in this pullover with your beautiful long hair on one side!!! Vraiment très très féminin, chère Justine!! Tout de bon!!!
Merci, Justine! Good idea to create a gradient from neutral to extreme cool or warm. Following your advice, buying lipstick will be much more fun. I'll be sure to wear short sleeves when I go lipstick shopping. :)
An orange red lipstick also looks amazing on cool fair skin if you have blue eyes but it has to be predominantly red i find. I love nyx soft matte in morroco for a nice summer colour :3
Hey dear 😊😊😊 I love ur videos ur just so intoxicating if I start watching ur video I have to watch 3-4 videos back to back it's not in my control ...ur so beautiful and charming ❤️❤️❤️
Update: I was able to take the color I bought yesterday back to the store and swatch against it. I picked a much more orange color than I would usually pick because it looked less pink than the color I didn’t like, and this time the color is perfect! Thanks Justine! I find it very difficult to figure out which are the classic reds. I just bought a red lipstick yesterday that looked like a good “classic” red on my arm but when I bought it was bright pink on my face (same lighting conditions, clothing, and makeup). Previous lipsticks have looked terrible on my arm but ok on my face (not good, but not bad). It’s confusing because I’m very pale but on the warm side of neutral. No foundation or lipsticks seem to look good on someone who is both very pale and warm. Same goes for my friends who are very dark but cool.
I love red lipsticks! And even though I have a warm undertone, I find I can get away with the cool tones (and in fact, prefer them) if I think carefully about the rest of my makeup. One great tip if you buy something that doesn't quite work is to try it with different lip liners. Something darker to create an ombre, in brown or plum or just a deeper red, can totally change the look, as it's suddenly no longer directly next to the skin of your face, so your eye doesn't notice the mismatch :)
some lipsticks have the info around them if they belong to warm or cold tones can help you to determinate if it will suit you, depends on the colorskin you have .. some brands have this info like loreal and mabeline ones I think.. also happens with the blush too , they have the info in the package too aswell 😊
Hi, new subscriber here! I just stumble upon your videos and THEY'RE ARE GREAT and very informative. I love how you always include some tips into these videos! Thanks!!
Try draping a cool tone white and warm tone white. You’ll know which one suits you by which one makes you radiate and which one makes you look sick or highlights your imperfections
I didn't have a problem with colour classification; I am classic winter, cool. But like Sira Mea, I also find mixing a solid matte undertone with a lighter shimmer still more comfortable. Actually what I am most comfortable with, although my nail polish is ladybug red, usually, is to match the undertone of my lipstick to the colour of the inside of my mouth, if that doesn't see a bit weird, so it comes out actually as, let's say, Sienna brick, which doesn't seem to fit any classification, but does work with my skin. Highly nuanced perhaps but a solution that worked. Experimenting is great fun. I used to think lips and nails should match; this works for me however. I'm also mindful of your advice not to over-emphasize both your eyes or eyebrows and lips; one or the other, and since I have very well-defined eyebrows that I don't need to worry about, perhaps the other features are not as important. Lots of fun!
Hi Justine, very educational videos. Thanks for sharing knowledge. Can you do some videos about how to choose jewellery. when to wear silver and when to wear gold color. Also nail paint ideas for different skin tone.
Hi Justine! Great video and tips! Love your work! I would like to know what products do you use in your hair? My daughter and me have long hair (my daughter's is like your's!!!) and we need something to preserve - protect them. Thank you in advance!
Hello Justine! I discovered your channel through Jenny Mustard. I couldn't help but laugh when you said (in another video) that you pay attention on caracthers outfits instead of the story... 'cause I'm the same way and thougth the other people would think I'm foolish... Love your channel
Thanks for the video Justine! your explanations are always so clear! I have very fair skin with a neutral undertone (I have been to Mac and the shade N4 is perfect for me) ... this means I can pull off any lipstick? Because it's not the case. I find "berry" reds (Mac liquid lipstick "dance with me" or Kat Von D's "Bauhau5" for example) the most suitable for me...any other suggestions to other shades/tones that might work with neutral undertones? Thanks x
A tip, if you buy a bold colour that you love but you are not confident to wear full-on colour, you can a apply a little bit of the colour and blend it in, you can work your way up to a full coverage when you get more confident.
Good tip!
I put on a clear lip balm on first and it will cause less friction between your lips and the lipstick making the color look more sheer.
Hope Moskal What I do everyday! I love it, it makes even the darkest colors appear somewhat natural.
How you can talk for 20 minutes wearing old-fashioned lipstick and not eating it all?
Sira Mea Applying it over lip balm also sheers out a color. Or, try patting it on with your finger and then rubbing your lips together back and forth, in and out, to get a stain effect.
It's not a disaster if you buy a colour that doesn't suit you. You can mix it with other lipsticks and end up with something really nice.
Frida Bergholtz or you can recycle it into blush.
I didn't know that. Sounds neat.
I even recycle them into eyeshadows cuz i don’t want to spend so much money on pallettes that look almost identical.
When it looks washed out then mix with somewhat darker shade and if it's too dark then first apply on hand and dab on the lips and slowly mix with lighter shade..
Marilyn Monroe was said to have mixed 5 or so different shades of red to achieve her signature red lip. .
Something I don’t see mentioned often is how the natural colour of your lips affect the shades that you can wear. If you have fairly pigmented lips, even if you are fair in skintone, paler lipsticks will make you look sickly and bloodless, like when people put concealer on their lips to take out the colour.
Diana Dai I totally agree with you. Would be nice, if Justine could do a video about that in future. :)
Diana Dai I have this problem too. I am very fair with grey blue eyes and red lips. I wish they were pink. I have to use full coverage lipstick to hide my natural lip colour.
Bang on!

That is such a fantastic idea! I wish!
They would rather you buy lots of their products until you find the right one
How many lipsticks or eye shadows do you own yet not use?
Hi Justine! My I suggest for you to make a video about materials combinations, like does leather goes with wool or some other combo is better, or maybe about textures and what goes well together?

i'm certainly going to use that advice to my advantage. thanks for the tip :)
Me, too. I find that using a lip brush and applying a thinner layer of red lipstick looks better on me, same with my dark, "aubergine," color.
Hi Justine. Lipstick shades are so tricky. Thank you for your tips! You're so right, lights matter. I bought so many lipsticks from well-lit department stores that were different shades when I got home!! Love your videos. Cannot wait for the next one xx

I have been picking lipsticks intuitively and it has been working well, looking back at my purchases I have only one lipstick on the warmer side, the rest is in the middle or cool tones which really justify my pale coller skin tone. Any color with a hint of pink looks well with me n does not stand out too much too.
The add blue undertone is so true for cool toned skin... teeth look whiter too
The warm toned lipstick suits my warm undertone, however it makes my teeth appear more yellow. If I choose cool toned lipstick to tone down my slightly yellow teeth, it doesn't suit my warm undertone and makes my skin looks off. What should I do?
Go neutral red, right in the center of the color range.
You are definitely one of my favorite youtubers. Always very informative, thank you Justine❤
PS: Lisa Eldridge has a good video on nude lipsticks.
Laidi Kirsta I would love to see a video on nude lipsticks as these are one of the hardest colours to find to match your skin tone.
This colour of sweater looks beautiful on you! Love your videos...very inspirational.
Love your approach, Justine!
My veins are both green, blue, and purple. So tricky!
Dear Justine, discovered you a week ago, you are a joy! Kisses from Belgrade
Purple and berries suit me more, and gloss as well. Matt lipstick usually too much for me. Thanks Justine, great, great videos!!
In Ireland for a local brand called No 7, they have machine kind of thing in-store which finds your exact shade of foundation you need and based on the foundation they will also give a pallete of lipsticks that will suit you. I found it helpful.
oh I'd like to try that machine!
Can your skintone change from cold to warm with aging? In my teens silver suited me but now almost 48, goldtones are better. Hugs from Belgium🙋
Omg it's been so long since I've watched your videos... I've been so busy. I've missed your personality and intelligence ❤️
I truly just love your French accent, only heard it in movies.. so nice
Love this! I have definitely trial and error a few reads before realizing that I need a more orange red or coral color. Thanks!
You're welcome!
You are right about the part where you said there are other factors that influence the look of a lipstick. Its not just your undertone. It could be your clothes, hair color, the rest of your make up, your personality or even the day of your menstrual cycle. It might sound crazy but holds true for me 😃.
O My Goodness. Wine With Everything. .. that was my mom's shade. 👄💖💖💖
Thanks!!
Thanks!
Thank you for the video! I have cool skin tone and love pinks and some cool reds - will have fun experimenting!
Your videos are so fun (and helpful) to watch!! Thank you for your great advice.
I luv red, pink and also brown color lipstick shades. It suits me . Justine u look superb always. Luv ur style .
Very helpful as all your videos are Justine - u really put thought and effort into all your content - much appreciated!😊
I really liked the pink/purples when you held them up against that top 💜💚
Super helpful! I've definitely gotten into the hang of precision with color schemes and/or certain cosmetic shades, except am more iffy on lipstick shades. To the point where I feel lip balms and/or glosses, or lining may be nice (though I care in having lipsticks that suit me). I notice warm, orange shades suit me very nicely, nearly nude in appearance but in a warm tone. I'll def. try this method, thank you Justine!
Thank you for the Mom advice I never got!! Now I can pass this on to my daughter.
You are so welcome!
Very useful video! I am def warm toned but I always gravitate towards cool tones, for hair colours, clothes, nail polish and lipstick too! I need to watch more of your videos and think more before I buy xD
Your videos are so informative and intelligent. You take fashion seriously. Thank you for the excellent content.
Thank you again,
Sarah 😊
Thank you Justine. I always have trouble finding a lipstick that I think suits me. This helps.
It's good to know when you're unable to swatch the lipsticks
great learning. You seem to have a good eye for color! :-)
Thanks! It's hard when I'm naturally attracted to the cooler colours (purple is my favourite colour) but you can't argue with logic :)
I only wake up at 6am on a Sunday if I get a Justine notification. Loved this! Thanks ☺
Thank you for another very helpful video. I am a new flight attendant and red lipstick is part of our uniform so choosing the right one is essential.
Justine, this is valuable information as usually AND
YOU LOOK STUNNING in this pullover with your beautiful long hair on one side!!! Vraiment très très féminin, chère Justine!!
Tout de bon!!!
I look forward to your videos each week Justine.Thank you so much.
Truly needed this!! Esp picking a red for me. Thank you so much!!! ❤
I love this, it's so different from most lipstick videos I've seen
Hey dear 😊😊😊 I love ur videos ur just so intoxicating if I start watching ur video I have to watch 3-4 videos back to back it's not in my control ...ur so beautiful and charming ❤️❤️❤️
Insightful, and I must say your hands are very graceful, elegant.
Thanks for sharing this information. Very helpful. By the way, I love your cashmere sweater.
some lipsticks have the info around them if they belong to warm or cold tones can help you to determinate if it will suit you, depends on the colorskin you have .. some brands have this info like loreal and mabeline ones I think.. also happens with the blush too , they have the info in the package too aswell 😊
I’m supposedly warm toned but I get compliments when I wear cool bright fuchsia
Hi, new subscriber here! I just stumble upon your videos and THEY'RE ARE GREAT and very informative. I love how you always include some tips into these videos! Thanks!!
Hello, Justine! Please make a video about how to style specific problem body parts (i.e. short neck, thick arms).Thank you!
Another wonderful video again ! :) I have a cool tone to my skin, and love the look of a classic red lipstick!
My veins look blue, purple, and green. Does that make me neutral? I feel like the color orange clashes with my skin, but I love red.
You're probably a mix of cool and warm. My face is cool, but the rest of my body is warmer, so the vein color trick doesn't work
Yeah, you're a neutral. Blood red, raspberry, or fuscia would be good reds for you. x
Dark matte red 😍 a forever favourite. I'm fair with pinkish undertone, dark red looks very bold so I save it for parties for everyday its pink.
Hi Justine, very educational videos. Thanks for sharing knowledge. Can you do some videos about how to choose jewellery. when to wear silver and when to wear gold color. Also nail paint ideas for different skin tone.
I’ve noticed that certain lipstick and blush shades look better with wardrobe items that are also in the warm or cool range.
Hi Justine! Great video and tips! Love your work! I would like to know what products do you use in your hair? My daughter and me have long hair (my daughter's is like your's!!!) and we need something to preserve - protect them. Thank you in advance!
Justine! Lots oflove! Could you make a video about what colors to wear to make the eye color pop?
good idea. Will see what I can do - I need to find a makeup artist :-)
This is really useful for me. I have always struggled to find a perfect red for me. Thanks!
you're welcome!
You´ve got a beautiful personal style, Justine!
Hello Justine! I discovered your channel through Jenny Mustard. I couldn't help but laugh when you said (in another video) that you pay attention on caracthers outfits instead of the story... 'cause I'm the same way and thougth the other people would think I'm foolish... Love your channel
Hahaha 😉 Be welcome here!
Thanks x
