What's your favorite color?? Do you feel that it fits your personality? Note: other colors are made by mixing those I mentioned. E.g. pink is red + white. Beige is brown + white. If you google a color name, you will get its CMYK reference, so you will know which colors are exactly in it :-)
i love so many colors even though i wear mainly black (which is a tone not a color) bc it's very easy to find in all styles, textures, prices etc but i love purple (all shades), baby pink, nature green (not neon), bordeaux and blue!
Oi! I think I'm quite schizophrenic when it comes to colors. Black and grey, black and brown, cream and brown. All purples, from fuchsia to eggplant and everything in between. Turquoise and purple or blue. All greens (mostly combined with purples). A hint of pink. Bordeaux.... I'm all about textures in fabric or leather/suede, I love to combine different textures in different colors. Creativity is important ;-) inside and out.
I like all the colors but blue and green and every thing that is nude are my favorites. I like pink in the flower but when it comes to clothes I don't know why? but I hate pink in that moment:). I think my favorites match with my personality. So interesting
"Pink for princesses" is a modern development (1940s). Pink was a boy color for centuries before that. All those painted portraits of children in pink dresses are actually princes.
I had a friend with a strong metaphysical bent who believed we needed all the colors in our lives and each day of the week she wore a different color in a weekly pattern starting with red and going through the colors of the spectrum to purple. She was an amazing influence in my life. She is long gone from the earth now.
I did this when my kids were little. Each day of the week represented a theme and a corresponding color. Now when I look at pictures, I always know which day of the week it was depending on how they were dressed! 😂
I wish more clothing was made in the color brown. It’s my favorite color to wear, and I have a hard time finding it in stores in recent years. Brown deserves a comeback!
💯% Agree...... Brown color is GORGEOUS & very very CHIC & CLASSY 👞 But me & my sister, really don't understand why designers don't make clothes in brown.... Very Rare !!!!!! Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein & maybe another designer I've seen to make a few pieces in BEAUTIFUL BROWN COLOR 👞 😔😕🙁
"I think human beings need green in their lives. People who live in large cities never see any tree, never walk barefoot on the grass get depressed. I'm pretty convinced of that." I 100% agree. I realize it every time I go to a big city that has no kind of natural green integrated into the day to day life. Just after a few days, I feel a big sense of sadness. When I return home, I feel the mental and physical need to immerse myself into my garden...just sitting on the grass and looking at the trees can be enough. It's really, really important to have natural green in our lives.
Annalisa Bagatella I have a pair of kelly green flats.I love to throw them on to add a pop of color. I live in the country where there is LOTS of green. My house is next door to a working farm, so I love when the crops are just starting to grow and are a vibrant color green. I have lived in several big cities when I was in my 20's, and as fun as that was... I just loved the smell of fresh cut grass and flower picking in my garden to make beautiful arrangement for the house.
When I lived in Paris, I noticed that (after years there) all my clothes and everything else I was attracted to and bought was GREEN! Every place has a different colour of light and the light in Paris is grey/yellow. (In the So. of France, it's really soft; blue/pink). I now live in America, in the Northwest (Seattle region) and the colour of light here is blue/green. I still buy green everything but now, instead of all tones of green, I only collect Olive. I need the Yellow as there's not much sun here. Colours are fascinating!!!
I wish city planners tried to incorporate more green in their designs -- whether it's required in the architecture, or actual plants. I think cities would be a happier, healthier place to live.
When people ask me what is my favorite color, I always cringe b/c the real answer is so complicated! I'm always tempted to say "are you asking about my favorite color to wear? to decorate with? to photograph? on other people? overall?" because the answer is so different in each context. There are colors that I love but simply cannot wear b/c they make me look older or just plain ill. For example, a rich beautiful purple/indigo. So I always answer with "blue" but I mostly wear whites, grays, and blacks. For me, I wear whatever color I need my mentality to be in for that day (as opposed to letting my mood dictate my choices). I also apply this backwards psychology to the texture of fabrics as well. Do I need to be focused, productive and efficient? Or am I allowed to be relaxed, soft and playful? Anyway, merci for this video! 💕💖💕
acer.b My reply is mostly "none, because I'm not six" 🙊 I get having a strong preference to wear or surround yourself with a certain colour, but generally I just like a certain spectrum or a combination.
I'm like that, too. I have preferred hues in each of the main colors, but the question reminds me of, "If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?" 😁
That's me, too. I would add that, where clothing is concerned, there is definitely skin tone to consider. My daughter looks radiant in white; my instructor's face turns a ghastly grey when wearing a white blouse. It matters, so find out what colors your skin tone likes and dislikes and choose clothing accordingly.
Am I the only one who thinks grey is one of the most mystical, spiritual, magical, beautiful colors? I just love it and I can't believe people think it's boring!
Grey! I love it too. When I was young, my mother despaired of me because it was my favorite colour and she loved bright colours. But I felt too exposed, too visable wearing bright colours. Also, I wanted to wear the colour, not have the colour wear me. Grey allows that. With age, I've come to wear stronger colours but I still love muted tones. Grey is ELEGANT. It's about balance. Oh, and also... there are many, many different shades of grey!
As an artist with a great interest in psychology, I really enjoyed this. Tells me something about myself--always tending to choose blues, sometimes purple or green. My father had a paint store; he'd often come home with a story about how a woman came in and said she wanted to see wallpaper samples. He'd pull some out and be amazed that he immediately showed her purple ones....she was wearing purple....
I used to design interiors and furniture. A client would often arrive in the showroom, unconsciously dressed in the colour she wanted as her theme shade.
Am I the only one who chooses colors strictly by how they look on me? I wear a lot of olive, rust, peach, plum, and burgundy because they look good with my eyes and/or skin tone. Black when I'm feeling fat. And I stay away from all greys and blues except navy because they make my eyes look blue or wash them out.
Stephanie m ...please don't buy into the idea that black slims you down. It makes the silhouette appear like a dense blob. Opt for a small patterned fabric in your colour of choice ......it confuses the eye!
I wear colors based on how they look on me. I look best in soft pinks, peach, and cream shades. I can't pull of stark white, or bright jewel tones. My favorite color is purple, but it's just not flattering on my skin tone, so I try to do purple accessories or small pops of color.
I'm mid 30s too and I feel younger when I wear pink, it's a colour I used to hate when I was younger because it felt too childish, but now its fun. :) Interesting!
As I age (I’m 71) I tend to wear more jewel-toned colors to contrast with my silver hair & skin, which has become lighter as I’ve aged. Thank you for this in-depth discussion of color.
"Blue can be cold and unfriendly" Good that's my goal stay back! Lol but generally yes I am a reserved person and don't want people getting to close in public.
I love the colour blue. Specifically the shade Royal Blue. It's just like the name says- "royal", elegant and gives you the feeling of when you walk with confidence with your head held high but having a nice smile on face. It's looks confident but not too powerful/overpowering like red. It's such a gorgeous colour.
I gravitate towards turquoise or mint green. I grew up in Montana, United States. I grew up seeing a lot of turquoise jewely, because of the Native American culture there.
Love blue, white, black and red! I can say that in my culture (Russian) there are certain combinations of colors that have their connotations. F.ex. white top+black bottom reads super formal and rather boring because that is the colors everybody had to wear for formal occasions at school. It is also what receptionists or bank tellers typically wear. I often avoid this combination, if I don't want to be mistaken for somebody's intern or secretary. Khaki color has very strong associations with the military (unlike sandy or black, like in some other cultures), so can look a bit too aggressive for some occasions. Red has all the connotations you named. But scarlet is also the color of the Communist movement, and the revolution, so items like red shirts and blouses, red badges, or, especially, little red scarves (like what Pioneers wore), remind people of Communism, revolution, etc. Red+black are very closely tied with rebellion, provocation, etc. Black is also the color favored by many subcultures which are still alive. So a total black look might look a bit too "gothic" for some, or just too provocative and depressing at the same time (this is why many intellectuals and artists like this look). I'd say, if you want to be perceived neutrally, wear grey, cream, green, and blue colors. Finally, lots of gold (especially thick gold jewelry) is seen as a sign of not just bad taste but also dark past. Gangsters in the 90s loved wearing thick gold chains and rings (and putting heavy jewelry on their girlfriends). A typical gangster look would be dark shirt with thick gold jewelry. That's probably why Russian men won't wear dark or brightly colored shirts.
Great comment! I've lived in both Serbia and Romania, and can say that it's all very similar in this region. I wonder if it's also the case in Russia - at some point in Serbia in the 2000s it became OK for manly men (heh) to wear pastel or bright pink and baby blue and so on. Mainly in very tight fitting T-shirts, often with V-necks, to show off a gym-toned torso. It's almost as if the mainstream macho borrowed from the gay fashion... Anyway, it's not a very good look in my opinion :)
This is true! I'm from Hungary (living in Switzerland) and we think the same way. Black shirt for men coms from the pimp's corner😎....today it becomes more acceptable but only with a tie, not with open collar....we say: that' s "cheap" When we see a shirt with high closed collar and bottons, in grey, we say : it looks like somebody from chinese communists labor camp😂
i think it depends on the shade of green. i love a dark, dark green & i love the way i feel in it! but kelly green totally washes me out... sea green DEF looks horrible on me!
Orange. It makes me feel positive and gives me energy when I’m feeling down. It also suits my coloring (Autumn). My favorite neutral is grey which harmonises beautifully with orange. Least favorite colors are blue and beige. Blue is a nice color but doesn’t suit me & makes me feel depressed. Beige is boring.
I am a blue person too with a heavy gray presence. I'm trying lately to incorporate more bright colors into my wardrobe because I feel that I'm sending wrong message to the world that I'm a cold boring person. Almost asexual. I'm over 50 so I feel you need to make video on how to dress over 50 next time 😊. Great video as always ❤️.
Maria Karis Here's a fashion challenge, if you want one: buy a printed scarf that has grey, blue, and then PINK, to add a warm element in a little way without breaking the bank. Pink is so soft and welcoming and inviting, and you can add a soft pinkness to your makeup to compliment the scarf ❤️❤️❤️ Many blessings to you in your life journey!
Maria Karis try burgundies instead of true reds too. My wardrobe is greys, navy, ivory, blush pink, and muted teals- but almost all of my shoes and my leather jacket are cordovan, and my school color is garnet so I have a few garnet pieces. Light browns can also be a good balance.
Very bright colours are important in my culture (indigenous American). Personally I really like the combination of blue, green, and orange but I like more muted or lighter versions than their pure primary and secondary versions. I also use a lot of grey. I think for me it reminds me of the waters of the Gulf of Mexico where I grew up and the sunset sky above it. As a child anytime we were at the water we'd stop and watch the sunset over it.
What an interesting and wonderful color combination! It's full of vitality and it sounds like you are in tune with your natural surroundings. I was also thinking about that very same combination in the past few weeks :)
My favorite color is yellow. It makes me happy whenever I see it and sends a shiver of peacefulness through me. But I’ve also noticed that the more and more I’ve began to like yellow the more and more stressed I’ve been-which is why I try to surround my self with happy and peaceful yellow colors
I don't wear yellow very much, but my kitchen colours are bright yellow cupboard doors with light golden natural wood. Splashbacks are yellowish brown with a pale cream texture. I still love my kitchen after 40 years.
So much depends on whether the yellow resembles that of lemon skin, lemon pulp, peeled banana or peeled mango, and whether we're talking about clothing or home decor. And is it offset by white, red/orange or black? I once read that yellow is the hardest color for the human eye to process, also the best color to grab attention for an ad or a street sign. My favorite kitchen wall color was mango yellow, but a top in the same color made me look and feel awful, while one in a slightly cooler shade - I call it summer yellow - made me feel so good that whether it flattered my skin tone didn't matter because it made me so happy I smiled all the time, which is definitely a better look. A step cooler and it would have been lemon yellow, which looks great on lemons, but anywhere else looks so acidic to me I can sense my mouth puckering most unattractively.
I love greys, faded, and textured like jeans or wool. I have a lot of black clothes too, and navy. I don't like bright colours anymore, I will wear faded pinks and taupe. For some strange reason I love black animals, especially black cats, they just look perfect all the time!
I love Justine so much!! Her voice is so soothing! Right now I have lots of reading while I'm writing my masters thesis and I have a playlist of Justines videos playing on the background just for her inspiring and calming voice :D
I agree, in fact I put Justine's videos when I am trying to fall asleep (but old ones, which I already have seen several times, so I won't be attentive) and it works immediately :)
your skintone may need warmer tones (darker green) instead of limegreen for an example. Don't buy that everyone has to have cold colors only people with colder skintone should. I can't look good in any of the colors she showed, I need warm tones in everything because of my eye colors, my hair, and most importantly my skin tone (which makes me look better in gold then silver meanwhile cold skintone looks better in silver)
Judging by your youtube name you are some sort of garden designer? It's almost too obvious but I think it could be because you deeply enjoy being around nature and green things. I worked in gardens for a while and I have fallen in love with dark green clothes (never liked green before). I never really made the connection until I saw your comment. :)
Green is my absolute favourite colour, I love nature and just find it so calming...plus i have green eyes! I just love all colours though, especially jewel tones I love mixing lots of colours and patterns to just create a really rich bohemian kind of look, or I like to do neutrals and one really strong statement colour or piece. I adore prints! I just think they make everything so intricate and beautiful
white and similarly muted colors in Hindu culture is traditionally worn by widows. Black is not worn on most festive occasions either. All other colors are good. Red, yellow are considered auspicious.
I LOOOOVE purple. To the point of being Obsessed with it. I TRUST purple. My Aura is purple. It's so Magical, and Royal, and Beautiful, and Mystical, and Wintry/Autumny(I was born in Autumn). At times purple is calming and soothing for me when I need it to be, and it also strengthens and emboldens me. I Feel AWESOME and CONFIDENT when purple is around me. I don't wear purple all the time but I love owning purple things. I could literally look at a beautiful perfect purple thing for hours and feel happy and cozy and nostalgic and uplifted. BUT I'm not introverted. And I hate bright Reds and bright Yellows. And I HATE neons.
Great video! But historically, white wedding dresses were not a sign of innocence but a sign of wealth. A trend set by Queen Victoria. A white dress in the 1900th century could more or less only be worn once.
It's true, somehow this myth became a popular belief. Traditionally you wore the best dress you could afford. Traditional Portuguese and Spanish wedding dresses were black. Traditional Czech wedding dresses were typically very colourful with ornate embroidery, ribbons and frills
Yes! And it was a mark of wealth because white was so rare - most people ate darker, coarser bread (which happens to be healthier as well) and some white food was reserved for special occasions like weddings.
My family is of Czech heritage, so on wedding days we might wear a white dress, but It will often have another pattern. my sister had a pattern of blue, yellow, and red flowers, and my mom wore a red, white, and black dress. All with complicated ribbons and designs. I always thought they were so much prettier than the traditional white dress.
I love office colours black ,white, beige, grey, blue(especially black) etc .I know it's boring but it's classy and doesn't attract a lot of attention and I'm fine with that😊❤
I wear almost every color, and coral pink is my favorite, but blue is my favorite color to wear. It in no way has to do with the fact that every time my whole outfit is blue my brain can't stop playing "I'm Blue" by Eiffel 65. It's just more flattering on me and suits my personality better. I'm surprised you didn't mention that Queen Victoria is the one who made white the bridal dress norm when she married Albert.
My favorite color has always been purple, I didn't know its meaning, and it totally describes me, I even worked in the luxury industry. In my country black color is perceived negatively, unless it is worn in formal occasions or funerals, people rarely wear it. I have lived in Europe and I was surprised at how often people wore it on everyday occasions.
It is a bit old fashioned now, but In Ireland, traditionally you would never wear red or white to someone else's wedding as it would be said you are taking attention away from the bride. But if you want to wear either of these colours to a wedding nowadays, best check with the bride first.
Sira Mea I feel the same way here in USA about wearing white to a wedding. It's the bride's day to be special. She gets white. But every other color is fair game for anyone.
It has been a popular trend here in America for bridesmaids to wear black dresses. More for the cocktail party look but it seems such bad taste and almost bad luck to me!
It depends too on WHERE the color is. If it is up against your face, you don't want to wear something that makes you look ill, and the wrong "right" color can do just that. Yes, I do choose colors that make me feel better, and that will give a good impression for whatever I'm after, but it is not necessarily calculated, and it is never JUST about other people's perceptions. For example, other people have loved how I look in brown or tan, but I don't give them the opportunity to see me wearing it any more, because it makes me FEEL like a drab, homely non-entity. I leave browns to the people who glow in them because they love them! And I glow in my favorite teal or periwinkle blue! LOL
Yes the colours we thrive in change over time. I still wear brown but there was a time it didn't look good, my skin was more olive looking these days its more neutral so I can wear a cool brown no problems! I don't tend to wear a lot of pattern but this evening I'm wearing a light grey sweater with pink fluffy hearts on it. It's a great choice if I'm feeling a bit flat. Or if I'm feeling unwell which is today. It makes me feel cosy and cared for and it's only a sweater!
As I noted a few weeks back, I have rather difficult coloring- auburn hair, brown eyes, ivory skin with freckles. My very vest colors a a deep orange and moss green. I'm also good in tangerine and a bright lime. I can wear red well if it is a warm red. I don't do blue well, and grey is right out. I'm very aware of how I look in various colors, and the 'vibe' I carry in them. I think that as much as a formal color psychology, it is a matter of understanding yourself. If you are confident and radiate that, you could be wearing sackcloth and ashes and still look great! But I know that I dress to deliberately affect my mood. If I'm not feeling well, I won't wear black or a dark green. It'll be marigold yellow or orange or bright tomato red. And I live in Portland Oregon- we have long, drizzly winters. I tend to have Seasonal Affective Disorder- the weather depresses me in a clinical sense. so my bedroom and my office are decorated in warm colors, It helps- a lot. And the fabric stash in my studio is mostly reds and golds and oranges, so if I'm working on a blue project, I have to brave the fabric store or go online. And that is dangerous!
I've always been attracted to jewel tones, ruby, emerald, sapphire, amethyst, peridot. When I shop for clothes, these are the colors that speak to me, and same in decor. But I also love purple, turquoise and tiffany blue--both are very similar--and mint green. I like yellow a lot and have it in my decor, including tiffany blue, and raspberry. The only two colors I do not like at all are brown and orange, even though I've been told I look great when I wear it--did have a blouse in orange, many years ago. I wear some black but like white, I find them both so boring. I've been described by friends as serious, reserved and shy, at first, if I don't know the people well. But then, once I get to know the people around me well, I'm very outgoing, fun and even sassy.
Hi Justine, a few years ago I became aware that I am synesthetic - specifically, I have color-graphemic synesthesia, which means that I perceive colors when I think of letters, words, numbers, etc. I also perceive color with different tastes and sounds. Color always has and always will be such an important part of my life, and seems to code the way I think. Over time I think I have developed my own personal associations with certain colors, probably based on my own experiences. My favourite colors are very saturated blues, purples, and greens. I tend to dislike brighter colors, especially yellow and orange, and find them too aggressive and harsh. It's definitely interesting how color affects our perception, and should be studied more in psychology! Ps: If you are synesthetic in any way, shout out to me! Also, my As are cobalt blue, my B's are tomato red, my Cs are cyan blue, and my Ds are earth brown. What are yours?! Justine, if you're still there, your name is plum purple! Mine (Jessica), is eggplant purple!
Justine Leconte officiel I'm not sure! Could be because the first letter J is purple to me, and that affects the word. J = plum purple, U = burnt orange, S = dark blue, T = leaf green, I = dark yellow, N = dark pink, E = bright yellow. I know it makes no logical sense but it's just an automatic perception for me! :)
Jessica Viau - I also have synesthesia. Justine is bright yellow and Jessica is a greenier yellow. I also only discovered this in recent years and didn't understand that other people perceive the world differently. And one of my children has it, and the other does not. Plus, I love orange (and I do not own any blue, red or purple clothes). Yes, and sounds / smells are in colour and time is positional. Fascinating!
I'm also like you. From a very young age I noticed that when I look at numbers, though they all might be drawn in black, my mind registers them with different colors. For example, the numbers 1 and 9 are always black. two is always white, 3 is yellow, 4 and 8 are always red, 5 is blue, 6 is green and 7 is light purple.
No wonder why I used to wear (and still do) so much black, I felt emotionally safe in it! I was afraid to wear color because I wasn't confident in my emotions. I still love wearing black but I also started wearing color and I think it's because I learned emotional stability and to be able to recognize my feelings and be confident in them. My most favourite color is green, I love it. Can't help it 💚👒🧃
I love green - like emerald green but I wear it only modestly, so green trainers or jewellery to add to a monotone outfit, like white or black. I only wear either white, black, blue jeans and grey. I want to get into wearing red though because I think it would look good with my skin.
I usually wear a black t-shirt to work since it is activity based (and few things look less professional than big sweaty spots at the armpits) but I also act as a bit like a companion for the people I work with so to balance out the rather dark look I wear a felt sunflower in my hair to brighten it up. I think it makes me look more friendly and open (approachable?) which is important in my line of work as most people I work with are rather lonely.
I love color therapy so much that I painted my house according to function. E.g. I painted the laundry room orange so laundry would be fun, and guess what! It is! My bedroom is a pleasant light blue, the pantry is an appetizing red, most the house is a warm yellow...nine colors in all. We love it!
My home is very small (4 rooms). Hubby and I decided it was best to find a single colour for our walls, so we chose a very pale pink to help uplift our mood (we both suffer with depression). It works well for us but I remember visiting stately homes that would have colour themed rooms e.g. "the blue bedroom", and if I had a large home that's what I'd do.
This isn't my first time watching one of your videos, but this is the first time that I have been so impacted by your information. I'd been having a lot of problems figuring out how I feel at any point in time and the idea of filtering emotions through colours is both overwhelming and freeing. Thank you so much, Justine!
I was not expecting this video would make that much sense. Normally these things are as you mentioned very culturally based, but the example of red being the first to see because of the physics really explains why the color is seen as aggressive or sexual. My colours are pretty much a greyscale: black, white, and everything in between. I do like some navy or also brown, but when I wear a colour, I feel soooo strange!
Green is a primal colour...our need for it and reaction to it is instinctual. It brings back memories of a time when we were a single cell floating in the ocean looking for land..
I like the little insight you gave into French language when you said, "We say in French that this person is my tree." I think the corresponding phrase in English would be this person is my rock. If you are my rock you keep me stable and you support me. :) How cool! Thank you for the color psychology!! How fascinating! I was definitely unconsciously doing that with my wardrobe. I've always wanted to wear brighter colors, but have always been aware of their affects on others. My desire to appear professional has trumped my desire to appear fun. So I tend to gravitate towards very neutral grays and blacks or browns with a delicate splash of muted pink. This was eye-opening and candid!
At the moment I am attracted to wearing black and red.... but black is quite a seasonal colour here in New Zealand (winter) but we also wear it to funerals... Red here also means passion and warmth here. Red and black are also our local sports teams colours in my city... so it's patriotic in a way
Amazing video!! I adore how you also added the cultural and religious aspects because those do play a part in how society and people view certain colors.
Black is definitely my favorite color. After my husband and I were separated, I decorated my apartment with black, grey with a touch of red. This video made so much sense. Thanks ❤️
I'm from Czech Republic 🇨🇿 And black colour is for us sad and is wearing on funerals. White is using on weddings. I personaly preffer black, blue, purple and green. ❤💙💜💚
Well I wear many different colors but I love the contrast of black and red the most. I avoid wearing yellows as I always look jaundiced, white because it always gets dirty too easily, I like deep greens like forest or hunter but avoid lime or pea. Otherwise there is no telling what colors I may mix and match.
i love wearing black. like you said it’s classy and since i admittedly don’t have the best style and/or sense of fashion and what colours work together, i find that black is a safe option. plus i think i look good in black so
Yep! When I want a neutral background, I choose black, not beige, brown or grey. I have a little brown for winter that someone gave me but it's a nice deep brown with red undertones.
Thank you, Justine! Great video about colors. As I live in Sweden and black is a favorite color here I am really sick of it already! Imagine hundreds of people wearing only black around you for 9 winter month! It's already cold and rainy country, that makes me depressed. I always thought that it's the worst choice ever for a blond/blue eyes person which looks so great in many shades of blue, grey and beige. WHY??? It is a matter of laziness, lack of taste and a knowledge in my opinion, it's just an easy and safe choice as you said. By the way, black also highlights dark circles under your eyes and makes you look older. =( I am a typical Eastern European woman with a porcelain white skin, big green eyes, brown hair. Colors which fits me perfectly are a military/olive green, chocolate brown, purple as a plum, all kind of reds, peach (red/orange mix), bordo, navy and coral. Combinations or black&white, navy&white looks really chick on me especially with a red lipstick. What is your designer opinion? (Actually I always wanted to be a fashion designer and I was told many times how great taste I have, unfortunately that dream didn't come true, but a sense of taste and a style is always going to be with me. I am a classy lady, that comes from my mom and I am very grateful for that. I was wearing classic clothes (mostly my mom's) from 16 years old. =))
I had a professor that wore black from head to toe. He was notoriously moody and quite strict and unpredictable but he always always wore a black long sleeved shirt, fitted black pants, black boots, a black doctors bag, and his ponytailed hair. Slightly Karl Lagerfeld-y. I honestly dont know how he did it, walking across our huge open campus where its constantly 30°C hahah
Oh Justine, when I wear green I feel like I am me! But I also love orange, warm yellows and orchid purples...no primaries for me thank you very much!! xo
My husband prefers that I dress in a colorful manner and that has been commented on by my friends many times over the years. Sometimes it surprises me. I can see auras. I gravitate to white and pastels.
What I really noticed about you on this video is how balanced the saturation of your lipstick color is to the saturation of your natural eye cornea. Makes your look fresh and natural looking. When lipstick is more or less intense than someone’s eyes, that looks out of whack.... which I guess is why someone might ramp up eye makeup intensity/shading if wearing lipstick that would otherwise overpower one’s eyes?
I love wearing blue and red, and it makes so much sense now. I constantly struggle between being too conscious and over thinking and being too emotional and sometimes overwhelming with energy... I'm a mess but at least I dress fancy hahaha :p
Me too! I'm always in blue and red but with bits of green as well. I think after watching this video, its about the strange contradiction within myself. I am introverted, but I love people (I love to hear people's stories and ideas and I will ask a lot of questions), I am a critical thinker but i want to be approved of etc etc. maybe I need a little more browns and yellow's to balance out my contradictions.
What a wonderful and informative video! Very to the point and useful! Also, awesome comments :) I studied Chromatology in uni, and I work with colors every day, so it's almost become intuitive and semi-automatic (I'm in graphic design). Still, it brings such clarity of mind to think about colors intently. They say you can modify your entire state of mind by looking at a particular color for a while... Oh, I could talk/read about colors all day! ^_^
LOVED this video! I'm also naturally attracted to blues and greens. And I've been intentionally incorporating more white and cream/ nude colours. And on the hunt for the perfect red blouse for the power meetings. For now a red lip is perfect! Loving your Channel!
I am fond of brown . I am a child of the 70s and brown was very popular then. Also it's a good colour to wear if you are meeting a person who feels threatened by you, as it's perceived as being not too ambitious and promotes loyalty.
Hmmm... Personally, I stay away from bright, really saturated colo(u)rs. I tend to wear either darker or lighter shades, like royal blue, burgundy, pastel pink. That plus my basics (white, black, gre/ay) is the colo(u)r scheme that my wardrobe is built around.
Sofia Colegio, I have also avoided brighter colors, but last spring Talbots Tees were on sale and I got some brighter than usual. Now, at the end of summer, I am really sick of them! Not counting them in my new capsule. Like you, too, I choose black/greys/white for the neutral base, plus denim blues. I like to use greys with a hint of one of my dominant colors (corals, purply, greens, medium blues), Any time you find fabric (I make my clothes) that you can't tell for sure what hue it is, it really extends the wardrobe.
i am obviously partial to one color, but i love wearing light blue, white and pink honestly a lot of the times i'm even offended at how hard it seems to be to find good clothes in a light blue color
I generally choose the colors I wear according to seasonal color analysis. I'm a deep autumn with brown hair and brown eyes, and I like the way that certain shades of yellow somehow bring out my eye color.
I love grey for elegance, light blue for freshness, dark blue, the one that is called French navy for composure, calm and confidence, white gives me joy. I also like clean red, outrageously bright, not too often though. Thank you!
I am feeling rather green this evening 😊 Your videos are so educational. I love that you give us a scientific perspective of beauty. Keep up the great work!
I still love black but noticed that now that I have passed the 50-year-mark, it can look a bit too hard versus an older skin. Better then with blue! In general, I like cold colours best, especially cold blue (a strong 'baby-blue' is gorgeous in summer!), cold red (pure red or 'purpely' bordeaux-red), emerald green, since they look best against my olive skin colour. Unfortunately, often there is only a very limited selected range of colours available, depending what is in fashion just then. So I may want to buy red or emerald green a certain year when almost only black or blue is available... When my favorite colour is finally available some years later, it is sold everywhere... I do not like that everyone is then walking around with the same colour....
I like precise, elegant style and my all time favourite colour to wear is black. I love the classic Chanel combination of black/blush pink and gold, interior design-wise I love Art Deco style, with contrasts, gold/brass, lots of clean white space and thin black accents. But my favourite colour overall is found somewhere between cerulean, periwinkle and cobalt blue. Sky lit up with thousand stars sort of thing.
I have decorated my house in shades of grey, blues and greens. I love to wear black for drama and it sets off my favorite jewel tones in blue, green, purple and pink. Go to green for balance and do not like yellows and browns. Unusual color combinations intrique me such as olive and red, cobalt and orange, turquoise and coral or neighboring tones. I think the best system for picking colors were the four seasons. I have pale skin, blue eyes and black hair. My season is winter with black, white, cool jewel tones, icy colors and much contrast.
This was helpful, but as an West African, I can tell you we love our bright colors & embroidery. And wearing black is seen as being depressing, lol. But what would be your advice to us that want to wear our traditional colors, but working in the West?
In winter my palette is grey, black, beige and white. This allows color coordination for layering. We have very cold, severe winters where I live and most of the time I'm out in public, I'm wearing a heavy coat anyway, so no one sees my outfit. I wear the bright colors during the warmer months when people can actually see what I'm wearing.
I only wear colours that suit my complexion ie pale blonde. These colours are typically soft or drab eg grey, Dusty pinks/blues, aubergine purple, pine green, khaki etc. I don't like many of these colours but I stick to what I know suits me. Just because I like a colour doesn't mean it will suit me. In my youth, I loved bright vibrant colours. Until I saw photos of me in such colours and cringed I horror. They looked like the colours were wearing me, not me wearing them because pale bones simply look atrocious in such colours. Even when I dyed my hair brown or red, they still looked awful, because the fair complexion remained. So, now I enjoy my favourite colours in other ways, not by wearing them eg I plant flowers in such colours etc. But just wear the dull soft colours that suit blondes like me. Fortunately, I can wear boyj the wRm and the cool dull soft tomes eg terracotta or brick red, or bluey grays etc, though some blondes eg the ashen blue eye ones must stick to cool shades and the golden blondes to warm shades. I use the cool shades for spring/summer eg the blues etc snd the warmer tones for autumn and winter. This system works nicely. I can't wear pure white, so I stick to cream, ecru or off white. I can wear black but it is pretty dramatic and over the top, so best reserved for a pecial occasions. Navy blue looks awful on me, as does maroon and nlsh beige. They look hard or very ageing. Mauve looks OK but after a lady described it as 'menopausal Mauve', supposedly because it flatters mature older ladies, it put me off ever wearing, though it is probably an a OK colour gor blondes.
But everyone has a range of colors they look good in. For example, I can't wear a mustard yellow or bright yellow, it looks bad on me. But I can and do wear nice buttery yellows. Olive/brown-toned green looks dreadful on me, but grey greens or a brilliant intense emerald/grass green can be very flattering. Any red that tends the slightest bit towards orange will make me look sickly, while crimson and bordeaux will make me look stunning.
Hello Justine! Right now my wardrobe has rose quartz pink, blush tones, blues (denims), indigo, royal blue, olive green, teals, a little green, turquoise blues, mustard yellow, ( I always hv to hv yellow somewhere). Speaking of cultural traits, in India no woman from any strata of society will hv a 'neutral' or 'solid' colour only wardrobe. Colourful clothes are very much an everyday (and for festivities). Women wear both, bright patterns on some days and monochromatic on others. But I agree with one thing, the Indian palette for traditional wear is clearly based on colourful, in pleasing tones & prints whether bright or subtle.
Justine's way to talk and body language , event the way she smiles between sentences reminds me of my French teachers I had during high school. I love this manner of speaking verbally and non-verbally - it is dynamic, easily to understood and elegant at the same time.
I have an idea for you, give us a list of all the countries you've been to and the fashion/clothing trends you have noticed there and what you feel of it
What if the color you are naturally attracted to doesn't match your undertone? Anyway thanks for your videos the have teach me so much! And your channel is growing so fast, mes félicitations!
+Myriam Etalmyna it is definitely possible... And a bit of a problem... Take your favorite color, add some blue if you're cold, some red/orange if you're warm, and see if you like the resulting color! 😊
Myriam Etalmyna i like blue very much. but never for clothes, because i'm warm undertone. i recently found a cardigan in a light PASTEL shade of blue... it's like warm light blue. its awesome!
You can definitely wear blue if you're warm, just google warm blue colors and see what you like., they are a bit greener or a bit purple. I agree than deep blue or navy blue look a bit off. I am warm too and teal looks really good on me, and is also one of my favorite colors.
I just don't wear it. I love yellow and have very yellow undertones. I look sickly in yellow :( I want to wear entire tops, dresses, or jackets in yellow but can't. Keep the color away from your face. I have a yellow purse :)
I love the colour yellow. But it makes me look sallow. So I don't wear it next to my face. Wear a scarf in a colour that does suit you. Or wear the colour you love in a skirt or trousers.
!!! wow !!! I am recovering from an illness and have for the past week and a half been steeped into learning about neuroplasticity, rewiring my brain, and have been in extremely deep thought and contemplation about it. I am wearing navy blue today...top and bottom...and today I just bought three pieces of clothing...all blue!...which I usually dont wear so much of..but wow! This makes a lot of sense now...so amazing! LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!
Hi Justine. Yesterday while cleaning my closet I realised 80% of my clothes are blue! Even my shoes! I'm 49 this year. In my younger years I liked brighter colours! But I think within one colour, there are many shades which may also mean something. A brighter blue may be 'happier' than a darker one:) Enjoy your videos very much!
Justine Leconte officiel my favorite color is purple. It's funny how the color that I reach for changes with my mood, though.
Peach and pink! :) I love to feel like it's always spring, and it goes really well with my pink bicycle :D
I like all the colors but blue and green and every thing that is nude are my favorites. I like pink in the flower but when it comes to clothes I don't know why? but I hate pink in that moment:). I think my favorites match with my personality. So interesting
This explains why we associate pink with princesses! Red for power, white for innocence and purity.
"Pink for princesses" is a modern development (1940s). Pink was a boy color for centuries before that. All those painted portraits of children in pink dresses are actually princes.
That's a really cool thought!
Interesting! Fabulous comment!
Red is for prostitutes!
MwaaaHaaHaaHaa / i’m not sure i believe that. do you have any sources?
I love wearing black. When I wear black I feel invincible. I feel secure and in control. It's my power colour.
Same,and iso love the feeling
Saaaaaame 🖤
same, same, same!!
Same here. 🖤🖤
And people still have issues while women wear an abayah😞 it's so sad.
I love the colour champagne pink... it has a soft tone to it.
It reminds me of an aged ballet shoe with a golden light.
I have a glitter paint guitar this color....champagne pink....everyone loves it ...pink black and white and turquoise are my favs
And I love pastel pink🌸
Which is also a really mature and elegant shade of pink
Beautiful despriction.
I love baby pink
I had a friend with a strong metaphysical bent who believed we needed all the colors in our lives and each day of the week she wore a different color in a weekly pattern starting with red and going through the colors of the spectrum to purple. She was an amazing influence in my life. She is long gone from the earth now.
I like this idea, that we need all colors, and wear a different one each weekday :-)
Well Queen Elizabeth successfully proves with her colorful wardrobe that it works👍🏻 Justine made a video about that by the way 😊
This is such an amazing attitude!!! I may consider this. Thank you for commenting.
Brown color is GORGEOUS & very very CHIC & CLASSY 👞
But me & my sister, really don't understand why designers don't make clothes in brown....
Very Rare !!!!!!
Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein & maybe another designer I've seen to make a few pieces in BEAUTIFUL BROWN COLOR 👞 😔😕🙁
Yeah, I love almost all shades of brown😊😋
I love all the colors in the cream family especially brown.
Congratulations! You got your wish :)
@@SquirreleLIV Haha! I sure did!
I want to leave the city as soon as I arrive :0
Very drab.
I feel the opposite, I moved to the suburbs and can't wait to move back in the city. Countryside makes me so depressed.
acer.b My reply is mostly "none, because I'm not six" 🙊 I get having a strong preference to wear or surround yourself with a certain colour, but generally I just like a certain spectrum or a combination.
acer.b totally me.
I'm not alone in this
Am I the only one who thinks grey is one of the most mystical, spiritual, magical, beautiful colors? I just love it and I can't believe people think it's boring!
Grey is my all time fav colour to wear
Istasha I love grey. It has so many different tones. It also goes with so many other colours
In most people including me grey looks dull. It is a beautiful colour but it makes me look really dull.
I love a nice grey monochromatic outfit! #TeamGrey :)
😉🪄
I like darker colors, like ruby, emerald, navy blue, black they make my body look more in shape.
I just love those colors. They are pretty.
Yup! Jewel tones!👍😊
People call me a princess of darkness not without a reason. I love dark colours.
Same and makes the skin look healthy.
I used to hate pink but it looks so good on me so now I wear it because it makes ME look my best.
Hey, I do that too...
Stephanie m ...please don't buy into the idea that black slims you down. It makes the silhouette appear like a dense blob. Opt for a small patterned fabric in your colour of choice ......it confuses the eye!
stephanie m that’s like me I just see what looks good on me. I don’t like yellow
I wear colors based on how they look on me. I look best in soft pinks, peach, and cream shades. I can't pull of stark white, or bright jewel tones. My favorite color is purple, but it's just not flattering on my skin tone, so I try to do purple accessories or small pops of color.
When I babysit for a new family, I wear a bright pink shirt. I'm 37, and it seems the kids think I'm younger and more fun when I wear pink.
+Amy Lynn Ruegsegger I bet they like it. It's less "impressive" than red and its bright 😊
I'm mid 30s too and I feel younger when I wear pink, it's a colour I used to hate when I was younger because it felt too childish, but now its fun. :) Interesting!
It's also proved to make women appear mode approachable and friendly ;-)
Pink is the colour of hapiness, friendly and a colour to express WARM WELCOME. That is why Rajasthan's capital, Jaipur is known as "PINK CITY".
That's probably why Russian men won't wear dark or brightly colored shirts.
hmm, this explains a lot of my parents ideas on what to wear, thanks :)
Daria Sukharchuk It’s scary how much of what you wrote applies to Serbia too! Great comment, saved me a lot of typing xx
Thank you for sharing this fascinating information!! Wonderful.
This is true! I'm from Hungary (living in Switzerland) and we think the same way. Black shirt for men coms from the pimp's corner😎....today it becomes more acceptable but only with a tie, not with open collar....we say: that' s "cheap"
When we see a shirt with high closed collar and bottons, in grey, we say : it looks like somebody from chinese communists labor camp😂
Green is my favorite color. I've noticed that it's really hard to find clothes or makeup that is green. I wonder why that is.
Same here!
I don't like to wear green but it looks really good on trees.
Green brings out red colors so it can make your skin look reddish or acne stand out
i think it depends on the shade of green.
i love a dark, dark green & i love the way i feel in it! but kelly green totally washes me out... sea green DEF looks horrible on me!
I LOVE green too! I feel good wearing it, maybe because of my red hair
My favorite color is seafoam green! Makes me feel peaceful and introspective. I think it is a color that inspires new ideas and creativity.
You and me both, my friend! I'm 19 and a designer so God only knows what message I'm sending in my job!
Maggie Smith Kühn thank you for the great advise, I've tried with red and didn't work for me but pink is a very fresh idea 💘💘
Heather Harrell thank you, burgundy is a great option I didn't think of and I like that color, I actually don't own anything in burgundy 😳..
I always wear crimson deep-red/bordeaux/burgundy, or camel/tan brown in day-time. Sometimes emerald-greens or sea-greens. Black at night.
L Kassim me to, nightly colors.
same. I wanna know what it means
I have not one yellow pience in my wardrobe. If I only imagine wearing a yellow piece I have to scratch my skin....
I relate to this! The more I get stressed, the more I tend to buy and wear yellow clothes. It just calms me down somehow. It feels so peaceful...
+Anne Aprim black and shiny hair on top of that (like on cats) looks fantastic indeed 😊
Anne Aprim omg we may be the same!! I even have a black rabbit!
That’s interesting. And sweet. I should try that 😉
My favorite color is dark green. I have tend to wear more darker colors than anything else.
+creations landscape designs do you know why? Could you tell? 😊
Justine Leconte officiel nope not a clue
It's my favourite too and personally I think it means I have a deep inner world inside me (like in my mind).
your skintone may need warmer tones (darker green) instead of limegreen for an example.
I love wearing blue and black outfits
Green is my absolute favourite colour, I love nature and just find it so calming...plus i have green eyes! I just love all colours though, especially jewel tones I love mixing lots of colours and patterns to just create a really rich bohemian kind of look, or I like to do neutrals and one really strong statement colour or piece. I adore prints! I just think they make everything so intricate and beautiful
My favourite colour is green. I love the trees and grass so much! Green is life and love~ care for nature.
white and similarly muted colors in Hindu culture is traditionally worn by widows. Black is not worn on most festive occasions either. All other colors are good. Red, yellow are considered auspicious.
I find it interesting that white is perceived as a muted color in Hindu culture.
My favorite color is purple. The description describes me well, I'm introverted and reserved! 😊
+Sylvia Matrix but very sophisticated 😉
Justine Leconte officiel haha yes!
Color Coded Creature I love all colors but yeah except neons but purple will always be my number 1
Caprice Matrix Me too!!!!
Great video! But historically, white wedding dresses were not a sign of innocence but a sign of wealth. A trend set by Queen Victoria. A white dress in the 1900th century could more or less only be worn once.
wow, I never thought of it before. But she is not wrong in the video. Wearing white has been a sign of purity in a religious context for generations.
Louise Johannesson yes true also for virgins. I'm sure Queen Victoria was one. the veil at least in my culture signifies purity
I'm surprised you didn't mention that Queen Victoria is the one who made white the bridal dress norm when she married Albert.
can you also make a video on prints? do they also have a certain psychology behind them?
and do parisian women wear a lot of prints? or only in summertime? thanks in advance!
great idea
Yes, I agree. Some prints are so appealing they just make you buy the item!
ohhh yes please
Great idea, I shy away from prints. Not sure why.
My favorite color has always been purple, I didn't know its meaning, and it totally describes me, I even worked in the luxury industry. In my country black color is perceived negatively, unless it is worn in formal occasions or funerals, people rarely wear it. I have lived in Europe and I was surprised at how often people wore it on everyday occasions.
it's cool, mysterious, goth, metal, punk 😁 and good for people who think they look too fat
Same here Nagaland!! We don't wear white as a sign of respect to the bride.
It has been a popular trend here in America for bridesmaids to wear black dresses. More for the cocktail party look but it seems such bad taste and almost bad luck to me!
No white worn in weddings as a guest in Spain or UK either (Or anything close to white such as off white, cream etc)
I wear a lot of blues and browns, kinda explains why I'm considered the "mom" of my friend group lol
+Laura Minnick you have a very conscious way of wearing colors indeed! 😊
Love your name Melon!❤😁🧙♂️
+Jessica Viau why plum purple?
Jessica what u wrote is very interesting. I would love to watch if u ever make ur videos talking about ur perceptions of colours
Can't help it 💚👒🧃
My favorite colour, hands down is pale aqua! I love it on my walls, in my clothes, jewelry, art, you get the idea. Thank you for this lesson!!
I love green - like emerald green but I wear it only modestly, so green trainers or jewellery to add to a monotone outfit, like white or black. I only wear either white, black, blue jeans and grey. I want to get into wearing red though because I think it would look good with my skin.
+mzChocoSensualHedbob you can start with reds that contain some black or some white, it makes it "easier" 😉
Justine Leconte officiel Thank you!
We love it!
+Tawny Tuppence I love it and I am doing the same in my house 😉
+Tawny Tuppence though I will have less than 9 colors at the end... 😅
Justine Leconte officiel Will you share the final colors with us? Thank you for the replies! ❤️
BLUE is also one of my favorite colors! I wear blue all the time
I was not expecting this video would make that much sense.
I've been told by a psychologist that a Navy suit will make you look trust worthy. as in Navy suit for job interview.
Many politicians wear blue to imbue trust.
I love every shade of blue, from dark blue , royal blue to baby blue, also love emerald green and dark reds. Thanks for the video, really interesting!
Green is a primal colour...our need for it and reaction to it is instinctual. It brings back memories of a time when we were a single cell floating in the ocean looking for land..
You used to be an amoeba? I'm not sure about that...that's an awfully long way for memory to go back...but it is poetic
I read your reply in my notifications. Collective memory, yes, I believe in that!
Je t'adore, Justine! Merci pour cette information intéressante.
Black is definitely my favorite color. After my husband and I were separated, I decorated my apartment with black, grey with a touch of red. This video made so much sense. Thanks ❤️
That's why I love Blue and Yellow combinations, happiness and serenity. But my #1 favorite is Blue and Grey, serenity and cleanliness
Merci pour vos vidéos. Elles sont intéressantes, claires et pleines de bonnes astuces présentées avec bienveillance. Je les apprécie énormément !
I'm from Czech Republic 🇨🇿 And black colour is for us sad and is wearing on funerals. White is using on weddings. I personaly preffer black, blue, purple and green. ❤💙💜💚
I'm from Slovenia and we are wearing black on funerals too. My fav. color is purple.
Maxify Black hello fav. colour fam
My. Favorite. Color. Is. Light. Blue. And. Pink. Lavender
Why. Do. You. Write. Like. This?
@Thornback Tiswell That's because of the Church pretty much
Well I wear many different colors but I love the contrast of black and red the most.
I am a typical Eastern European woman with a porcelain white skin, big green eyes, brown hair. =))
In general I love the primary colours, always in a fresh tone. I love to sneak them in in the details.
Bel
I'm a mess but at least I dress fancy hahaha :p
blue and red yes! among other colors
Cordelia Enid H I think Justine would approve. Sounds like a good capsule wardrobe!!
Yes in india, we wear white to funerals and red for weddings
What a wonderful and informative video! Very to the point and useful! Also, awesome comments :)
I studied Chromatology in uni, and I work with colors every day, so it's almost become intuitive and semi-automatic (I'm in graphic design). Still, it brings such clarity of mind to think about colors intently. They say you can modify your entire state of mind by looking at a particular color for a while... Oh, I could talk/read about colors all day! ^_^
+tibokca I am also a visual person so colors are extremely important in my life... Glad you enjoyed the video 🤗
My favourite colour is yellow, but I like wearing earthy colours (nude, green, blue) and of course black and white.
I like to use greys with a hint of one of my dominant colors (corals, purply, greens, medium blues), Any time you find fabric (I make my clothes) that you can't tell for sure what hue it is, it really extends the wardrobe.
i am obviously partial to one color, but i love wearing light blue, white and pink
honestly a lot of the times i'm even offended at how hard it seems to be to find good clothes in a light blue color
Thank you!
I am feeling rather green this evening 😊
Your videos are so educational. I love that you give us a scientific perspective of beauty. Keep up the great work!
*She - Hi everyone, it's Justine*
*My face - Heart in eyes emoji*
Vibha B i knw right! she lights me up pleasantly 😊😊💕
Revati Shinde She is the best ❤️😍❤️ and she deserves many more million subscribers 🙂
She's so genuine
That's so true..😍
I love her no fuss, no muss approach.
Have you thought about dying your clothes?
I think as I get older I tend to find muted/sophisticated colours more flattering
Red draws the attention, hence red traffic lights for stopping. No surprise it's color wheel complement is ... green.
This was helpful, but as an West African, I can tell you we love our bright colors & embroidery. And wearing black is seen as being depressing, lol. But what would be your advice to us that want to wear our traditional colors, but working in the West?
Fatimatou Bah wear what you love dear!! We love different cultures in the west!!! How happy everyone will be when they see your colorful smile!!!!
Wear what you feel happy with and be yourself :)
Wear sharp suits with a chunky necklace or a cuff that’s says boss in western .
Throw in neutral pieces. For example: colorful pants and blazer with a simple white top and white shoes
Hi Justine, can you make a video on how to wear summer hats with different outfits? How do French women match them?
It is so intresting how subconsciously you know what these colours mean without ever thinking about it. Great video :)
What color says you're PISSED? I don't normally think about the meaning of the color spectrum. I wear the colors I look good in.
Purple is my absolute fav color!
I love this manner of speaking verbally and non-verbally - it is dynamic, easily to understood and elegant at the same time.
all the colors of the sand (reddish beige, yellowish beige, brownish beige, whitish beige)
I have an idea for you, give us a list of all the countries you've been to and the fashion/clothing trends you have noticed there and what you feel of it
+Reshma lai great suggestion. I'll do that when I travel 😊
I look sickly in yellow :(
I want to wear entire tops, dresses, or jackets in yellow but can't.
A brighter blue may be 'happier' than a darker one:)
Enjoy your videos very much!
