Glad I found your channel! I’m still a “buy a Hoya because of its foliage” gal, I’m only 1.5 yrs in to being a full plant mom so haven’t had any of mine bloom yet.
Loved the rate of movement in this video and I enjoy peeps who speak more quickly, I like to take in as much info, as fast as I can so this vid was perfect for me.
My Curtsii tips dry out too, not sure why, it’s bushy now though!
My carnosa compactas (Hindu ropes) are my favs, I’ll pot them up together when they get bigger

Thanks for watching!! Yeah I try talk fairly quick or I cut out awkward pauses. There is nothing worse than watching a video and having to sit through long pauses or watching someone get distracted 🫣😂

Gosh you have got a wonderful collection going on there 🎉 My Sarawak has had the same problem of new shoots drying out which was disappointing. I’m leaning on the thought it could be a water issue too. Mine is still in fern fibre which I find dries out quite quickly so I’m thinking of repotting it into an aroid/hoya mix to see if that overcomes the problem. I absolutely adore my one 🥰 Will you be selling Hoya in the foreseeable future?

I love my Hoya. I also recently just posted a video on my collection and I felt I said a lot of the same. “This Hoya I’ve struggled with” lol😂 but it’s weird because the ones I have that thrive are like weeds. Then I have my linearis that’s basically dead at this point. lol. I feel you. Amazing collection!

Hi, I do love a hoya collection video, thank you. Regarding your linearis, mine is about to flower. The only tip I have is to use a small pot, a quick draining mix, and water regularly. Mine is in lots of bark.

Hoya linearis seems to like more water then other hoya. It's probably dropping it's leaves from drying out for too long in my experience. You will have to do a lot of chopping and propping to get them full and bushy!

I am currently growing my Hoya either in nutrient water or a mix of Leca and MAB Grow (AUS version of PON). Linearis is my pain plant. I have had to relent and grow it in a mix of TFF, Perlite, charcoal, worm castings, charcoal and orchid bark (I think that's it). Do you grow all of your Hoya in straight TFF? Not sure if you are making a video of you chop and prop but I would certainly watch it

Linearis: put into PON. Only water when you see the leaves drooping, like the one you showed secondly was thirsty. Don't let it go dry. They are happy when they are plump and fluffed out. They literally tell you they are dry by what their leaves look like. :-) Good luck!!

Idk if this is what it is but all my hoya Ive had issues with growing where the growth tip kept dying Ive treated as if they have flat mites, whether I can see they do or not, so sprayed the growth tips with Enspray and now theyre all finally growing!
Also! If you chop and prop and sell some of your krohniana splash and rosita.. Id be keen! Ive been waiting to replace my krohniana splash that died but havent seen any Mum plants Ive liked and my rosita keeps dying so if you have a relatively biggish cutting to sell thatd be great!
