Happy Birthday Paul! You both continue to teach and entertain with your videos. I look forward to each one! Have a great weekend.
Thanks so much!
No criticism here, another happy birthday to you Paul ! 🎉 Not an early ford guy here but just old Ford guy!😢
Thank you!
Happy Birthday! Watching your videos gave me enough confidence to finally buy a Model A about two years ago. I drive it to the supermarket, hardware store, pizza place, auto parts store… and it sparks great joy everywhere. I can’t calculate how many pictures have been snapped of grinning people behind the wheel.
Thank you. David in San Antonio.
Excellent!! Thank you
Happy Birthday Paul!! Hope you have a wonderful day!!
Thanks so much
Happy birthday, Paul!🎉 thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. I appreciate when you make these kind of videos. I was wondering if you can make a video showing the difference between a remake quail radiator cap from original and if damage how to repair it. May God bless you and your wife and your family long live you and the Model A‘s.
I absolutely know that I don't need to tell you when you're, Paul, being thankful for those things in your life to include Tina. Thanks for all you do.
Well said! Thank you too
You guys are incredible! Happy birthday, Paul! Love that you are believers. That totally works for me! God bless!❤

Thank you! The pleasure was mine!
Happy Birthday Paul and my best wishes to you and Tina.
Thanks so much Robert!
Happy Birthday, great pizza video. I have a 29 manufactured May of 1929. Just got the radiator reworked, and now I'm replacing the starter. Some gas spilling out of the carburetor much to do great fun. Take care of yourself both of you. Social
security, make sure you don't make too much cause they'll get you.
Good work! Thanks.
Happy birthday Paul may God continue to bless you with many more years of good signal strength.
Thanks Mack. God bless
Sorry I missed it. Finally got the computer fired up and came here first but late sooo - HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAUL!
Thank you!
Happy Birthday! I became a senior citizen a few years back. Unlike you I no longer enjoyed my job, as the whole landscape had changed in the automotive dealership world after the crash in 2008. And I also had 45 years in the business. I still work part time in a totaly unrelated field, and have become a Trained Ruling Elder in the Presbyterian church. I enjoy all your videos as I am still a gear head at heart.
Thank you!
Happiness is a fresh pizza and a rebuilt carburetor. YOU'LL KNOW WHEN IT'S TIME TO RETIRE. BLESS YOU GUYS. P.S. HAPPY B- DAY
Thank you Dean!
Happy Birthday, Paul!

The music that you have at 11:26 is hilarious but also very cool. I like it!
I don’t own a Model A, but I sure love this channel and hope it can continue. newsom wants to put an end to vintage cars, and all fun I guess. Make California great again!!
Newsom is a tyrant. But he's slick and the sheep love him.
Happy Birthday Mr. Shinn! Many blessings for your day and many thanks for the assistance you and Model T provide by way of your videos!!

Yes.... We had two successful startups , not sure why the user name above came up... but you know how to get me. If we can find a start up car we'll do it again in '24. all t he best! Larry
@@user-bg9gh3jd1i I'm a big fan of yours!
Happy Birthday Paul!
Thank you
Hi Paul!: Having grown up in the "carburetor" era, still, they always mystified me! I do believe after watching your GREAT video, I might be able to tackle a rebuild on a Zenith! Of course, I would need more experience in getting the carb set right after installation. Now all I need is a Model A. . . Thanks again for producing these interesting and informative videos!
Thank you Jeffery!
Paul, I may never have an "A" - but your vids let me feel a part of that; my job with FedEx Ground helps keep me in shape as I have CHF, & the work keeps my heart going, that & Door Dash is not much now, so, we keep the lights on, just low. The A was from a conservitive time...
Indeed it was. Well said!
С днём рожденья, Пол!

Happy birthday, Paul!
Thank you for the carburetor tutorial and thank you for taking us along for the ride. Nice scenery there in your area.
Keep up the great videos!
My pleasure!
Happy Birthday Paul! I have enjoyed watching a ton of your videos and they have been very helpful as I learn to take care of my 1929 Model A Tudor Sedan.
Awesome, thank you!
Happy birthday Paul. Enjoy your day. I have enjoyed watching and learning from your videos
Awesome, thank you!
That’s the way to do it- keep on “trucking” age is only a number ( I’m 76 and going strong) still driving my 1931 ( was driven to Gilmore - 700 miles total) my Shelby’s are getting dusty because I love driving my 1931 slantwindow Happy Birthday
Well done! Did I see you at Gilmore?
Happy birthday Paul!! Thanks for all the great videos. I wouldn't have a Model A without you
Wow. That means a lot. Thank you!
Happy Birthday, Paul! Thank you for getting me hooked on the Model A hobby!
My pleasure!
Best "unwoke" cola, love it! I switched to RC also when they started that.
Yep!!! I won't support the companies who shove their politics on me. I used to be a Coca Cola fan, but when they pulled that "Be less white" training garbage, I never drank another drop. Some people don't seem to care, but I do!
Happy Birthday Paul
Thank you!
Happy Birthday Paul! Enjoy your day celebrating YOU!
Thank you Kent!
Thank you Paul and Tina for your videos. You are an inspire an inspiration,
P.S. You asked about filing for Social Security. The best advice I ever got was to work with a planner who is a fiduciary. Only a fiduciary is required by law to recommend solutions that are best for the client, not just “suitable”, and with no consideration for how much the planner will be paid. All the best to you and Tina.
Excellent. Thank you!
Well Happy Birthday senior citizen Paul! Enjoyed watching, learned more about the carburetor storage than I thought I knew. Thanks for that and I hope your birthday went well and you and Model T have a wonderful weekend!
Thank you!
Thank you Paul we appreciate everything you do.. from our family to your family with love 💗 thanks.
Happy birthday Paul..
Thanks so much! God bless
Happy Birthday Paul. Throughly enjoy your videos. Perfect timing, I'm rebuilding a Zenith for my 1930 Fordor. Best Wishes from Northwest Florida.
Good luck!
Happy Birthday 🎂
Really appreciate your knowledge of the fabulous Model A.
Currently own a barn fresh, one owner, 29 Model A Leatherback. Got it running and am gathering parts trying to figure out what direction to take with it.
God Bless.
Thank you! God bless
Happy Birthday Paul. Thank you for all you do. Your passion about Model A’s is electric. Keep the vids coming.
Thank you!
Happy Birthday Young Man! Welcome to the second half, just had mine Oct. 1 65 now and still having fun with my 1928 Tudor. Thanks to you and Model T for all thee info. GOD Bless you both.
Happy birthday! God bless
HAPPY BIRTHDAY my good friend! Another year around the Sun! Congrats! Looks like you had a great day out with Tina's car. Looked like fun. I remember the place you would go every year and eat your pizza. Sorry about the place being packed. I am sure that was a bummer. Oh well...nothing like old sweet home. That pizza does look pretty good. I am sure I would love it as well. Can I also say...THANKS...for being real and praying on camera. That is great. Giving thanks to the ONE who makes everything happen. God is the one who has blessed us so much. God is good!
Happy Birthday! I don’t own a model A and I would never consider owning one but I really enjoy watching your videos. It is joy to watch people who are enthusiastic about what they do. I’ve been a mechanic for over 40 years. Worked 15years for Ford and 21 years as Sr. Veh. Mx. Tech at FedEx. Retired now. I moved on to EV’s in 2007.
Thanks so much! I have a sincere question- What mechanic work is there to do on an EV besides brake
jobs?
@@ModelA In the fleet world at FedEx preventive maintenance is required every 120 days and mileage depending on the vehicle. The inspection still have to be done regardless for safety. I had one EV truck a 2011 Ford Transit Connect that is still there today that never had anything actually replaced, with exception of tires, wiper blades, and 12 volt chassis battery. No brakes. I have my a 2007 Honda Civic Hybrid and it has never had brakes in 122,000 miles. In 2018 I bought a Honda Clarity PHEV. My favorite. My next vehicle will be a full EV.
I’m not climate believer but I am for no unnecessary pollution. Not everyone will be able to use EV’s. I will never go back , because for me EV’s are just better cars. Smoother and quieter. In all the years I have been dealing with hybrids and EV’s I have never had to replace a battery. Enjoy you content.
"A" very Happy Birthday and Thank You again for another great video in our journey to keep our beloved "A"s on the road. God bless you and family and many more!
Thank you Alberto! God bless
Happy Birthday Paul🎈I appreciate all of your videos. Have a great day!
Thank you! You too!
Happy Birthday. Glad you have completed another lap around the sun.
Appreciate the info you share. Your videos are enjoyable and help me to learn more as my son works to restore a 1930 Sport Coupe.
Awesome, thank you!
Happy Birthday Paul !!! You do look pretty good for 65 !!! Same as pensioner age here in UK . Mrs "T" does look trim and slim you are a lucky guy but you know that anyway . I checked the other comments but only one noted you had forgotten the secondary well . These can be a bear to remove and often the screwdriver slots are mangled . Heat the area hot hot with a handheld propane/butane torch and then dunk in cold water works most times . You can buy the special wrench to fit the cap jet as the other comment says no needle nose . . Thanks for good video as usual /
Yes. That footage didn't make it to the final cut. It was boring anyway. I just assembled a carb, I have already showed how to disassemble one in previous videos when Bob and I did full rebuilds.
Happy birthday Paul! Thank's for the video as always.
Thank you!
Happy Belated Birthday Paul, welcome to the fun age. Just re-fired never retire. God bless you both.
Thanks 👍
Dad always said, "Keep it Stock. You will have the widest market, & parts are cheaper. The moment you "Customize" you lower your buyer market, & Reduce The Value, no mater how much money you put into a car or... value goes down. Again, Thank you for your videos.
Great point!
Happy Birthday!
Thank you!
Happy birthday young fella 🍕🍕🎂, I was thinking Paul, you should change your name to Alan or something, then you could be Model A&T. God bless and many happy returns.
Thank you!
Paul, a very happy birthday, May all mighty bless you with health for many years to come.
You are really an eyecon in the model A world.
I also became 65 last September the 20th., and I got to hear from my bosses at the kia Nissan dealership that I will stay on the ship.
Just like you Paul we will continue and I am very pleased to understand that you will also.

Ha! Thanks
Happy Birthday I love rebuilding carbarater's. When I went to Tech School for auto mechanics. I was the best at carbarater's. Back in the 80's.
Very cool!
Happy Libra Birthday to the man that keeps everything balanced when dealing with A's. Many more Paul!.
Balance!! Model A balanced?? Haha! Thank you!
@@ModelA Balance of budget, balance of Work and 'A'.
Love this video, Many more years Paul, God Bless You and Tina. So appreciate the prayers and unwoke cola!
UN-woke cola forever!!!!!!!!!!! Haven't bought a drop of Woke-A-Cola in years.

You are so welcome!
🎉 Happy Birthday and thank you.

Never been this old before!
Me neither!!
Welcome to the fold… I start ss in March…
My A has the Tilotson and is working fine for now. Looking for a spare distributor, so will troll for a carb too… thanks for the good stuff and happy birthday.
Happy Birthday Paul. Welcome to the senior's club. It's not much different than before and since your not going to retire there will be no difference. LOL I hated my job and retired at 55 and never looked back.
Roger that. I sometimes wish things were different, but overall I can't complain.
Paul this is exactly the video that I need because I've got a 1929 Tudor that has a Tillotson instead of a zenith!
Happy Birthday Paul . Love your videos
Thank you Ron!
Since I am 72 years old I remember the days when cars used carburetors as their air and fuel delivery system. This Model A Ford carburetor looks very basic and very simple. When I was young I learned from my father how to clean and rebuild carburetors so that they would work again. I also noticed that as the years went by and early emission controls were implemented, carburetors became more complex and had more parts in order to maintain better control over the air fuel ratio. The last carburetor I knew about was on my parents 1982 Ford LTD full size car. This carburetor had a type of early electronically controlled air fuel ratio adjustment. The biggest problem with this last carburetor was that it tended to break down and cause excessive emissions. At that time the only fix that Ford Motor Company had for this carburetor was to replace it at a cost of one thousand dollars around 1986. Ford Motor Company would not attempt to repair this carburetor.
You two are so cute together! Hope your birthday was a great one. I just celebrated my first anniversary of Model A ownership with a drive along some beautiful, rural Iowa roads to take in the colorful Fall scenery. Thanks for your fun, informational videos and inspiring me to finally go for it, and get my first Model A!
Congratulations!! And thank you!
Thankyou for you videos, they are fueling my interest in Vintage Fords. I can see a Model A (or perhaps a T) in my not too distant future.
When you pulled into the Pizza place, the Headlights on the A looked pretty good in the reflection. Are they LEDs? I know you have mentioned LEDs in the past, but have you released a video on them (I am not fully caught up on all of your past works yet).
Hope you have a happy birthday, and an even happier year ahead. Trev.
Thank you! Yep, old style LEDs on 6volts
Happy Birthday Mr. Shinn! Thank you for another educational video and all you do. Here's to many more happy years, God bless! ~ Chuck P.S. My RC today will be a toast in your honor.
Thank you very much! Raising an RC back at you!
Happy Birthday Paul. AARP will be contacting you shortly. 😆
Hahaa!! I already told them "no" and joined AMAC.
First, happy birthday! Thanks for a very nice and simple technical video. I find rebuilding model A carbs to be very therapeutic. You make it look easy, because it really is. So many folks are intimidated by the intricacy of the carb, but your video should help get people to have less fear. You don't know how many times I link your videos in FB comments to guys having technical issues with their cars, as it is often easier then trying to explain things when you're so many miles away (I'd rather help people in person). Anyways, keep up the good work and Hi to Model "T"! BTW, I just rebuilt a Zenith-1, modifying it for air balance (Renners Corner instructions) so I can run a K&N macs fabrication hiboy air filter. Man, does it run sweet! Like I said.. good therapy! See ya!
Thank you Kevin!
🎂 Happy B-day sir.
Thanks for this excellent explanation, once again.
Glad to do it!
Happy Birthday Paul and welcome to the club of seeing your doctor more than you ever use too. lol Wish you the best and keep up the great videos.
Hahahaa! Thank you!
Happy Birthday Paul!!! Hope you had a great day and a good pizza!
