      Cheers for the Video clip! Apologies for the intrusion, I am interested in your opinion. Have you considered - Taparton Lard Destroying Takeover (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? It is a smashing one of a kind guide for finding the trick to deal with knee pain minus the headache. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my GF finally got amazing success with it.

    Thank you! I have an incomplete spinal cord injury (T2-T8) that was originally diagnosed as complete due to spinal shock. I've been making progress for 5 years and am so close to walking without a cane. I just need to strengthen my quads due to atrophy and never completely regaining that muscle strength. I did several years of physical therapy and nobody did most of these with me. I finally started naturally swinging my arms again! Complete game changer!

    I have a small question. Is it possible for you guys to (may be) do a small video about being bed ridden for a long period of time. I feel like there's not much out there about longtime depression and the muscle weakness that comes with it.
    Thanks for these videos!

    • @Leah-bd2iv
      @Leah-bd2iv ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was bedridden for about 6 months and it totally devastated my physical strength and endurance. Hard to describe what it feels like to exercise after something like that - must be what it feels like to be attacked by a dementor from Harry Potter. The other thing I noticed was that I lost my ability to "warm up" before exercising. Lots of weird little side effects which I was able to overcome. I can tell you what helped me. A mistake I made was trying to do too much too soon - like I mentioned any physical exertion felt HORRIBLE - and I was trying to do what I used to be able to do which was so discouraging. One thing that worked really well for me was Couch to 5k. The program worked because it starts off with very small challenges/levels that you keep trying until you can pass them. Then you move up a to a challenge that is a little bit harder. Again, if you fail the level it is ok because you just try again - failing is ok because in the process of failing you're strengthening your endurance. It took me a while to complete Couch to 5k - after which I started doing some strength training/conditioning. Again - start small! Don't try to do what you used to be able to do - that just sets you up for failure. If it is possible for you I would really recommend going to a physical therapist to help you make a realistic recovery plan.

    I am four weeks postpartum and sustained femoral nerve damage during my delivery. After delivery, I had lost all ability to extend my left leg. Now, I can extend my leg to 55 degree extension. I find this video to be very helpful with tips to strengthen my quad while waiting for my nerve to continue repairing. My neurologist says I have 3-6 months before I have full function of my leg again.

    Great exercise and you do not need expensive equipement to do it. I have L3 protrusion with crural pain. Now the pain is off but this left me with important weakness on my quadriceps and with loss of about 20% of quadriceps mass to one leg. So in the last weeks I struggle to rebuild that muscles. When I was young I built that muscle with many years of bike effort so now is not easy to rebuild. I am 45 years old and over weight. All equipement I have in my home are a big ball and a wood medical stall bars. So your example of exercises are very good for me. Thank you for being so helpful and generous.

    Sir, i had a knee effusion before 5 months, and from the last report before 1 month i had a small lateral meniscus tear..!! During this period my affected leg becomes thin as quadriceps gone week...!! So can i do this exercise? Or it will damage my lateral minescus?

    I have very weak quads. I'm 8 weeks post op (tkr) in my right knee and 4 weeks post op on my left. I can't even lift up my left knee off the ground or do leg raises

    I just got back into baseball after many years , sad to say i stepped away from sports and did alot of damage to my body, but im back and im pumped im rusty but im doind well, im not a spring chicken and as i said ive beaten my body down for decades living off of toxins, i aas bent all the way down the other day brushin my dog and when i stood it felt like a charlie horse , it hurt bad for probly 2 minutes , then its been sore since but i felt good enough to play , then i felt like i blew out my other quad .. it was so bad , i couldnt come out of the game but i could barely run, i know potassium can make you cramp my teammate gave me a banana , what should i do? Rest a few days? I wanna get out and run hills .. its crazy im a switch hitter who was always a problem on the bases , now im the slow guy!! Smh my pop used to tell me “Dont Get Old!” !
