I just woke up at 6:30am from a night of drinking with friends. This song is stuck, playing on loop, perfectly rendered, in my head. I can't decide if I'm incredibly annoyed and frustrated or I'm happy. Good song though but god it's getting to be a bit much
I'll just say that I never hated the water routes in Hoenn. Routes 129, 130, and 131 were a tad boring, but those were optional. Also, I hear too many godamn Pelippers in the overworld due to that new sneaking thing. They keep splashing up everywhere.
yeah.in fact,if you look back and compared to other gen, gen 3 is the best in term of exploration. That makes omega ruby and alpha sapphire one of the best pokemon game in term of exploration
One of the few remixes in this game I like better than the original. It's one of the few that really captures the essence of the original and doesn't clip half the harmonies and countermelodies.
The original is amazing; the remix is gorgeous. It flows seamlessly, just like the water it represents, and I honestly could not be happier with my favorite Surf theme of any Pokemon game.
I always found the RSE Surf theme a bit boring, but this remix is excellent. I like the drums - the music feels grander somehow, without losing its original placidity.
Does anyone else feel like the water routes in oras are smaller? I don't know but it was so frustrating in the original and in oras i had no problem at all navigating through the sea
One year late, but this happens because the surf in the remakes is WAY faster than the speed it had in the originals, also, you can go in every direction instead of four :D
The whatever original bass, probably trombone or bassoon, hard to say which one due to the 8 bit nature, is replaced with double bass, which has lower frequency, in most parts it is played plucked too making it even harder to hear in that teeny 3DS speakers.
I thought the actual audio was 16bit or just lower quality in general, maybe I'm just thinking of the not-so-great speakers I used to listen to this on lol

This is definitely one of the surf songs that get better later on it’s not as good as black and whites surf theme not only does it starts out good it’s best moments is better then omega Ruby’s best moment
In my opinion I found this better that BW tho gen 5 surf theme seems like you're in a rush unlike gen 3 that it's good to hear even while you're fishing and relaxing to hear
