The Bungo is a refreshing change as a German BB main. GK is the best T10 BB for me by a country mile, no other BB comes close. However when i'm having bad rng games the Bungo makes things feel better. Finally my hot take is it is better in terms of survivability than the Yammy.
I like the bungo a lot as well, the last days everytime when I use yamato and I aim low on enemy ships, like right above waterline it tends to not hit anything at all or just one hit and no citadels. I have to aim a bit higher than what I tend to see in many peoples videos which is strange, cause everytime I aim low it tends to be a poor salvo, but aiming higher I get in shots. With bungo it was a lot easier to get citadels, I do get citadels with yamato too but thats when I aim higher than what I usually see other players do, is there something im doing wrong like some sort of mod or equipment or commander or setting or something for yamato to hit decently when aiming at water levels? like when you shoot you double click and I used to do that, then I went over to holding left mouse button which idk how i feel about that and then shot some salvos independently (works well actually but can get irritating for longer periods of time) it's not easy to Citadel the bungo either as I normaly don't get citadel'd very often and its not that easy on other bungos either, but defo a very good ship. u sure u didn't want that in ur top5? you think borgourgne is better than bungo for example? cause I definitely dont know, I fight a lot of bourgogne's and they tend to die faster.
I personally don't like Bungo, it's more like a super heavy cruiser with BB Caliber guns than a battlecruiser. I just feel like if they gave her a 32 knot base speed with a 27mm bow and stern then she'd be solid pick for me. but until then I'm sticking with the Hotel Yamato and Memetana.
Nah. I'd say Vincent is better. More versatility, better heal, oppressive HE to burn ships down, trolly armor making it hard to cit, speed boost, not that easy to cit even through the nose at decent ranges unless it is a 411+ bb with plunging fire
IJN ships are the most powercrept ships in the game. Slow fire rate, vertical spread instead of horizontal, no super heal, no engin boost, easily citadelled. Best thing in them are the guns. Bungo is literally a BB with a plane that buffs accuracy, so raw FP. Don't brag about HE in this game or hard to cit because it's just broken. Other ships beside USA, IJN and HMS are literally retardproof.
I also noticed that, if ur in the back of the map and is ready for a longer game, bungo is good at burning ships to the ground and the HE shells deals a lot of damage too, its not that hard to get 5-10k per salvo and more on decent shots + they get burns.

Bungo with the plane up , has the best guns in the game. Surgical sniper that vanishes cruisers like a magician.

Do yourself a favor and HE spam unless your close. much better then ap shells.
