You did right by putting the Montana in the top 2, you are a brave man for doing so as the 97% of players will disagree heavily. It is the best ALL-around BB in the game and easily the most consistent even in lopsided games that we constantly see nowadays. Montana is King for me and I appreciate your bold take.
I disagree it being top 2 because its straight up worse than the Ohio, not having overmatch its a pretty big deal. The Ohio can do pretty much everything the Montana can, but better.
I fully disagree that monty is the best all round bb, especially since she's not at all an all round ship. If anything that goes to one of the faster german heavies or the St Vincent which have a utility kit, some with torps, have multiple build options and will generally give an enemy a hard time.
@Somerandombritishperson completely agree! The St Vincent has everything you would want, good guns that are fairly accurate, good AP and HE to deal with both broadsides and angled ships. Short fuse AP which makes it better at dealing with cruisers since less chance to overpen. It has 457mm guns, Good speed, good concealment, and almost complete citadel immunity as it's below the water line. It can push in, disengage, kite, farm from afar. Basically anything you would want on a jack of all trades BB, it has.
It turns about as well as the Montana so it definitely classifies as a BB. Secondly I had a 4.389 million potential damage game in the Khaba while doing 300k damage.... sounds like a BB to me.

I rank the Ohio as the most disappointing battleship. I'd just gotten it, and one of my clan mates asked if I wanted to division up, so I took it in for its first battle. Honest to god, shooting multiple shots at a flat broadside 15km away, watching the shells fall all around it, with the one shell that hit doing minimal damage each time was insane. OK, I thought, first time playing the ship, maybe I need practice. So, off to co-op with it. Nope. Shit accuracy, and you can hit a virtual point blank broadside and not have a single major strike? After about 6 games in co-op, it's in my port gathering dust and regret for having blown the RP.
Interesting to hear this. My experience of Ohio is that it's nowhere near as good as everyone says, but I wondered if this was just my playstyle not suiting it! Can I ask which mod you took in slot 6? I took reload because I wanted to run it as a close range brawler, but I'm wondering if it really needs the American 11 percent accuracy mod, or the guns are bad.
@BeSh-zz4nl I originally took reload, but switched to plotter, because the base dispersion was some of the worse for American BB's. I happen to love the Georgia, so I was thinking "two more guns!" when I got the Ohio. I never had so many misses, ricochets, etc. with the Georgia that I did with the Ohio. I took this into co-op several times, actually ran right up alongside a BB, hit it with all 8 barrels, and didn't get a single citadel or do major damage. It was a "WTF?" moment.
@@NorbrookcThanks for the reply. I've been thinking about switching to the plotting mod. I've mostly used Ohio in brawls so far, where I thought the reload mod would be better. So basically steel ships haha
Clank clank power 😂
does it really matter which ship you choose? i mean play all sorts of ships (as long as i aint paying for them!) and rarely have any problems, as the playerbase is incapable of doing anything with what they have (which they usually did pay for).
it really does not matter which game mode you play............they all just do their best to hide for the entire game. so sad.
Libertad, Schliessen far usable than Yama. Iwami is better too. Yama is a HP pinata in this meta.
I
fuking
absolutely
totally
agreeeeeee
with you in this.
Such a wise man 's word
.
I reset the Montana line for Ohio and then later regrind to get her back again. That's how worth it she is
I say Prussen. I say that as it's my only T10 BB. So a near worthless opinion.
yamato and montana are victims of power creep so not top 5 for me these days sorry
Don`t have very good games in Ohio. Agree with the rest.
SLM, I'm not getting your new video notifications. Just FYI.
Make sure you have the bell icon on!
@sealordmountbatten yup, I always have. Just letting you know so you can address it if others have the same issue
🤷
@@sealordmountbattenI'm trying to help you out here! Lol, I know how to use YT notifications.
Wisconsin is way better than Montana.
Wisconsin is also not available at the moment
Most don't have and never will have the Wisconsin.
I don't have the Montana in the regular game, but I have tested it on the PT server. I think it's probably a bit better than the Wisconsin, which I DO have.
Yamato, after 8 years on place No. 1 - means that the game is pretty good balanced
No
No, this list is extremely weird, there are so many ships that are WAY better than the Yamato.
the BB Overmatch is not really that relevant as most ships can still do high damage to you anyway through super structure damage or fires. Like the St Vincent.
@@hooni2212 I’ll take Yammy up against any of these new super gimmicky ships any day of the week and twice on Sunday
@@sealordmountbatten and you will lose 9/10 against competent players.
Edit: it's no surprise that your WR on the Yamato is not really surprising lmao, it's not a good ship but for some reason you're pretending it is
@@hooni2212 Straight to the stats eh? If you look at anything other than WR, my stats in Yammy are quite good.
