Hi nice explanation! One remark, your RS-485 is instable, do both lilogo's come with resistora (120 Ohm) If I'm correct, if not, try to install 2 120 Ohm resistors on both ends on the cable. If they are not terminated you might get issues with RS-485. This might also be the case with CAN, but you have to check that one. Keep up the good work, wishing you lot's of sun and high yield on your selling power!
Again a very interesting video! I would suggest do do something against the moisture coming in via the data connector. At least put some silicone in to prevent water coming into the battery during winter. Also for your friend with the 2 batteries! Keep on with the professional work!
Greetings from Austria, in August i have installed a Solax System in my home, X3-Hybrid G4 15Kw (33x 450 Panels 14,8 kwp) with the HS36 Batterie (5 Modules = 18,4 kwh). Watching your Videos got me thinking about getting a EV Batterie 😅
Really nice work! Just don't short those Lillygo's between them. You have GND on USB on the side and it's very close to the other Lillygo maybe touch IC on the other.

extremly interesting video. In the moment the most important information for me at TH-cam, but it doesn't matter if you share it a couple of days later. Thank you very much for your great work.
A very professional built, as always! Well done. Where do you get all those batteries from? I did the same with a Nissan Leaf battery, but hat substantial problems to get one. I had to import it from UK! I do not understand why you built in 2 Lilygo's for one battery. Did I miss something?
@@ianlighting100 Yes, I understood that one, but one LilyGo can be connected to the CAN Bus AND to the Inverter (RS485), hence the two ports. 2 LiliGo's you only need with two batteries. I understood, that he connects one to the battery and one to the inverter. That would not work. But watching again, he explains it after 12:00. Such setup I have never seen before. Probably Solax specific as he says.
Great Video, excellent explantations! So the Car Batteries could be reused for Home Storage…Where did buy this big battery? Ist it possible to use Batteries from other cars. Do they have a similar protcol? Thanks a lot!

Glad to hear that it works.👍🏻

Thank you 🙏
That's awesome. I've been using a 516 volt battery Jerry ranked too an old discontinued Tesla inverter.
Mycket bra och inspirerande som vanligt! Superkul att se! Grymt jobbat!
Så kul att höra! Tack så jättemycket 😃🙏
Very good educational videos, I'm looking forward to the next one.
Brilliant thanks for your time and knowledge
Thanks for the interest ☺️
Merry Christmas!

Nice work. Do you have a link to that 12v battery? I am looking for something which acts like a UPS on 12V

Yes check out the links in the description. Those links leads to the developer of the code I use.
Awesome videos! What's your primary source of generating electricity during winter time? I'm in the Nordics myself (Norway)
Do you know if it’s possible to do this with a G3 solax inverter? Thank you!
