Yeah, you can do a lot with one of these, especially if you have a 100 to 160 watt solar panel on the roof. I run a compressor cooler fridge, diesel heater, lights, and fans. And I have power left over to charge up my laptop during the day. I paid like $800 for my Battleborn. I just bought one of these for extra storage capacity in the event of a few days of clouds/rain.

It would be a simple matter for one of these companies to ship Will Prowse a premium product that they produce just for him. A great review by Will would make their sales boom, even if they raise the price by 50% over night.

It could be a complicated setup for testing but also a rewarding challenge. We have come along way from dry camping as a matter of survival in California something I was also forced to do in my past. I have had one of these in my 2018 nissan leaf for about 4 months as the sole 12v battery. No issues other than it was a tight squeeze getting it to fit and the terminals were reversed from what was ideal for my vehicle but i made it work.
based on your review I snatched up two of these on Black Friday. Both from Amazon but one came in 5 days and the other in 9 days. Similar boxes but a different packing foam on top. One had cutouts for each terminal, the other had just a square punch out in the center.
I literally JUST ordered their mini 100ah w/ Bluetooth for $180... like 15min ago. Cold protection and Bluetooth... and smaller than a schedule 24?! I wouldn't have bought it had it not been for the good reviews this company has been getting.

Nice to see that you reviewed this battery when new. However, Mr. Off Grid from the off-grid mountain homestead has a different opinion on these batteries. He reviews them after he has put them threw several charge cycles. He did a review and it was not good. Apparently, that bms does not keep the individual cells balance. I think he measured them and would have one cell that would top out at 3.65V and the other cells were completely different voltages with the lowest being like 3.4V. At the end, he said that he was going to upgrade the bms to a JK. Something to keep in mind....
Thank you for letting us know, I just watched that video, then went on amazon to read 1 star reviews and decided not to buy these $155 batteries. If its too good to be true, it probably is
In the review/tear down he did 4 months ago, he was absolutely praising the heck out it. The battery in the review you're referring to is a 100ah trolling battery. The one in the 4 month old review was a 100ah group 24. So maybe he got a "bum" battery. I was going to sat he should warranty if with WattCycle, but I don't think they'll ball, now that Mr. Off Grid has dissected it. I'm also curious about the BMS, the one in the older review was labeled "Schenzhen Washi Energy Co." and the BMS in the trolling battery had no labeling. Is Wattcycle now using a different BMS supplier?
If you read the Amazon reviews, many of the 4 and 5 star reviews say their first battery failed but they’re happy since the company shipped them a new battery. I love a low price, but not at the expense of durability, no matter how friendly the customer support!
This makes me wonder if the "failure" of the battery was due to inexperienced install or use. For example, did they try to use it while too cold or too hot and not let the battery "reset", or maybe they over-discharged it and don't know how to charge it while at too low of a Voltage for the BMS to activate it? These are just a couple of reasons that LiFePO4 batteries could stop working. There could be others an amateur like myself may not know.
@@Tumbleweed5150except many of those reviews describe going through a diagnostic procedure with the company tech support… only then did they replace the batteries. Seems like the company would ask the obvious like when PC support folks ask “did you reboot the PC?”
It would be great, if you could review replacements for normal starter batteries, which are rated high for cold cranking & have thermal protection for winter time.
I bought this brand battery in their mini size and it has worked flawlessly so far. I even had a question about the app and emailed the company and they responded within 24 hours.
Hey Will, I reviewed some of this company's products and love them also! They now also have a 12v,300ah mini that I'd love to test. I am running a 200ah group 31 and a 100ah group 24 in parallel in my van, and love the power and performance.
I just bought three of them to test in a tiny travel trailer, the missus wants to run the AC without me lugging a generator around, so I jumped and am giving these guys a shot, I'm hoping with 900 amp of these coupled with 700 watts of solar panel can get us through when the heat is on (Activities away from travel trailer by day, but running AC by night, 13.5k BTU Dometic Brisk 2 unit) . Good Times Either way, I remember my first LifePO4 battery I bought in 2014 (Had Burned up a couple cheap deep cycle AGM Lead Acid batteries from laziness and saw Lithium did not have that issue) or so from stark power for a 12VDC100Ah battery for $1200 and it was a game changer, fast forward to 2024 and that same damn battery is still holding a charge and delivering 100% of its capacity, granted I have only fully discharged it a few times a generally with the solar panels it never got below even 50%. Now for $449 for 12VDC300Ah battery, I'm all in and will give them a chance to shine. I've been waiting for this opportunity to see if I can run the AC in a small travel trailer off batteries and a bit of solar and get by. Math says it will work, even if I have to add anothewr 400 watts of portable solar power for a total of 1100 watts.
Thanks so much for the love and support! We're thrilled you're enjoying our products. Regarding the 12V 300Ah mini, we'd love for you to test it! We will talk to you soon.👊

I own a no name 120Ah Lifepo4 battery purchased on eBay a year ago that replaced 2x 100Ah AGM batteries. It's connected to a 50A DCDC Booster, according to the manual it can only handle 45A but so far it's working just fine. The battery performs well, it gives me 3 1/2 days in my RV just like the AGM did running a compressor cooling box, lighting and phone charging. I recently purchased the Miady 12v 100ah battery off of Amazon because it was so cheap I couldn’t resist. I would love to see you do a break down of that unit if you haven’t already done one. Thanks for your honest reviews of these things. It is possibly the only way we can keep these overseas companies honest. Keep it up!
WattCycle sent one to me for testing last year and it's still working 100% daily without issues. Hard to believe the quality VS price.
That's awesome to hear! We're so glad the Watt Cycle battery has been performing reliably for you for a whole year after testing. We aim to deliver great quality at a price that makes sense, so your feedback is really valuable to us. Thanks for sticking with us!

I think they just got it! :-)
Thanks for another great video!
I was considering that battery. I appreciate your review before the tariffs hit, especially so I’ll move forward and I thank you if I have any trouble with it, I’ll post it.
There is a "Pro" version for the same cost that says group 31 on it. I wonder what the deal is?
"These resistors are giving off lots of heat, it feels like I'm sitting next to a fire".... Meanwhile, they're mounted to plywood. Nah, not too flammable... LOL, no risk, no reward. Love your stuff Will.
Thank you , you are a great builder / tester . Your resisters on the wall looks cool man ! ;-)
Thank you, I grabbed 4 of them last night for our golf cart conversion. I'll be into the conversion for under 1k now. Appreciate the information 👊
I just installed a Siekon 100Ah you checked out and installed it today. plugged it in, 13.2 volts and ran what little DC load I had, one exhaust fan and 3 LED Camper light fixtures, I know, it's not much but it's all that came with the camper. Planning on putting a Max Air fan and my BougeRV 41L cooler in there soon after I get some DC adapters wired in. I think I paid about the same price for that one you paid for this one. I coupled my battery with a 200W Bouge RV Bi-facial solar panel that was around $200 and my Renogy 40A MPPT I already had from previous Solar installation.
Will, thanks for all your very informative videos!!
I bought three of these to replace the (6) 6V batteries in my cart. I have a 36V charger specifically for lithium, but not sure which amperage to set the charger on. Choices are 5, 10, and 18 A. Which would you choose. also, I’m assuming there’s no issue charging them all together like this, correct?
I have 6 of these and have had no problems with them at all. Very well made blow my mind and all test above 100 ah when I got them been using for around 6 months now with no issue
Awesome video, thank you so much, Will! I was just browsing Amazon for lithium battery brands and saw that LiTime launched an all-in-one model with low-temp heating and Bluetooth-and it’s priced pretty well too! I’d love to see a comparison video on it if you’re up for it.
I enjoy your videos and enthusiasm. You have the heart of a teacher. Thank you for your channel. I'm learning so much. I direct anyone I meet that expresses an interest in PV / solar energy to your channel.
Thanks Will. Just snagged 2. 2 100 Ah, over/under protection for a little over $300. That's insane! I doubt they'll last long before they're sold out.
Your the best!
I just did the same, what a deal
Someone said there 132 on temu.I’ve never shopped there.
I have 16 of these batteries that have been up and running for over 6 months now wired series parallel for 24volts. I've had no issues so far. I started out with a few batteries and liked them so I bought more. I actually bought 4 more batteries after I got that system set up for other projects. The price was great!
BTY - I've been off-grid for 42 years. I've gone through lots of batteries over the years. Your videos are great!
Guess what! My favourite brand of batteries has finally been discovered by everyone! I've had this 100Ah lithium iron phosphate battery for 6 months now and it works great! Especially their after-sales service is exceptionally good! They were really helpful and dealt with the small problems I encountered!
Wow! Thanks for your continued support! We're honored to be your favorite battery brand and we'll keep working hard to live up to that!
I'm so glad I watched this. I bought 4 of these on TEMU for $150 ea., and you just confirmed what I was always wondering about. Just replaced 4 6v trojans, after 5 yrs, and these have worked better than those. I'was pretty happy with my purchase, but I think you just made me feel ecstatic about the purchase. Going on 4months, and they work flawlessly.Nice video!
cant find it on TEMU. can you share a link?
Thanks Will for an honest opinion. I’ve been considering getting these batteries. They also have a 12volt 300 ah for $480.00
Price bumped up to 559. I missed out on these at 480 but I ordered 2 for 500 each yesterday. Looking forward to getting these!
Has anybody opened one of the 300Ah mini?
Also, they show charging parameter 14.6, but don't give any additional parameters for float charge?
Bought 2 of these and just installed them as a replacement for my house batteries. They are fully charged and we shall see how they do. I installed lithium 36 volt batteries in my golf last year and really like them.
I also have a whole array of Ecoflow gear, 2 Delta Pro's with 2 batteries each, that will run my motorhome and 3 Delta 2's we use to run equipment used during production on MMTV and a Delta mini. Love Ecoflow gear...obviously.
Thank you Will for what you do, I try to stay up on your equipment reviews, always interesting and fact based!
You're wearing an Asbestos Dust respirator, You need to get one with Black filters, that indicates they are Activated Carbon and will filter out any harmful vapors, though the purple ones do work somewhat for welding smoke (FUME).
That filter is a combination it has activated carbon looks like a 60923 we use them at work
I'm using vapor cartridges. Isn't that for vapors?
@@WillProwse Please always do a smell test if you are using activated carbon filters. It checks both for filter efficiency and mask fit.

What do you need to filter fumes for cuttinh plastics? Ok if you do it longterm the fumes could cause something, but...
BAD BOY BUGGY-- I used 8 each of the Trolling Motor version for my 4WD Off Road Golf Cart. I configured these in 4S2P to get 48V. Stated capability is 120 Amps per string for 240 Amps total continuous draw. It works great. Measured continuous draw at full throttle is 140 Amps total or 70 Amps per string. Maximum surge is about 240 Amps total or right at the 120 Amp continuous limit quoted for the battery. Actual surge capability is much higher. Everything works great. I am extremely pleased to no longer have to deal with lead acid batteries.
I love your budget battery tear downs! Please do teardowns of a cheap batteries with Bluetooth. The Mehrpow battery is only $5 more than the WattCycle.
Thank you Will. Just purchased 8 of them. Now I need to find good deals on an inverter and panels.
I just purchased 4 from their website $186 each with taxes delivered. The 4 of them were less the 1 (of the 2) I bought in 2018 for my RV.
Upgrade the RV, use the 2 old ones to run solar lights at the entrance of my property where there is no power. Christmas early.
@@danieldorchester5221 nice. I just purchased a 6000XP to go along with mine. Still looking for the best deals on bifacial panels. Sig Solar is out of the most recent ones Will recommends...

@@justinw1765 maby but I think tariffs might start increasing prices. The past few months are the lowest I have seen. I don’t feel there is any more downside ? If I’m wrong there won’t be much 5% at the most?
@@justinw1765 Thank you for that suggestion!
Will, great video, as always. However, I was wondering if you take any steps to conceal your identity when you order items for testing? It would be a simple matter for one of these companies to ship Will Prowse a premium product that they produce just for him. A great review by Will would make their sales boom, even if they raise the price by 50% over night.
Got one of these on a boat I bought. Pleasantly surprised that it’s likely a good one! Thanks for your thorough test and review.
188 now! You jacked up the price!
Just ordered 4 through your link. Looking at the temperature disconnect specs it would be interesting of you could show how accurate the temperature disconnect is. It could be a complicated setup for testing but also a rewarding challenge. We have come along way from dry camping as a matter of survival in California something I was also forced to do in my past. Have fun brother.
Budget 12v batteries are imo the best way to go for me. Cheap to replace and you can build pretty good size banks with them. I prefer to replace a $200 battery vs a $1500 server pack anyday but thats just me.
Just ordered 3 of group 31 verson of the wattcycle lifepro 4 batteries. thanks for the overview and testing. Even cheaper than your quoted price. 3 of them billed at $667.00 plus tax. Delivery estimated November 29, 2024.
Ken
I just order one from Amazon as soon as you said there going up in price. 😂I I hope it does well for all around use.
Correspondence with a company was very very good. In fact after they watched my teardown video and me taping it back together so I can still use it. They even sent me another battery to replace the one that I destroyed. And now they’re sending me a 300 amp hours they do make larger batteries.
Wattcycle is great. And they are a great company to work with
Because.... ?
@zenobikraweznick Because you can roll then down the hill, and they still work. Because the company is very responsive And will answer any question that you may have.
Thank you very much for your support and recommendation! We are glad that you are satisfied with Wattcycle, and we will continue to work hard to provide quality products and services.
I have had one of these in my 2018 nissan leaf for about 4 months as the sole 12v battery. No issues other than it was a tight squeeze getting it to fit and the terminals were reversed from what was ideal for my vehicle but i made it work.
Thanks Will. I Like the Quality for the Price !!
Just purchased 12 of the 12v 100 amp hour batteries, excited to have some solid solar electrical!
That overcurrent testing station belongs in the next installment of Saw.
based on your review I snatched up two of these on Black Friday.
Bought 2 300 ah minis 3 weeks ago. I’ve had them almost 2 weeks. They’re working great, so far. Very pleased.
I just ordered 2 as well. Looking forward to them arriving. Do you run them in parallel?

I came across this video feed,I am already a subscriber, the price on the batt is something else. Right on Will and Thanks for putting it out there
Hi Will, any chance you can do some reviews on those cheap chinese inverters? Like powmr, or those unpopular brands?
I got one before they went up to $209! Thanks so much, very glad I saw your video
@@brendajanes4139 did he reach out to them over his issues? Might have been a dud rather than representative of the entire product 🤷♀️
Good to know! Will check that out
Thank you for letting us know, I just watched that video, then went on amazon to read 1 star reviews and decided not to buy these $155 batteries. If its too good to be true, it probably is
Someone said there 132 on temu now lol
Grabbed 2 of these right before the price hike. Both batteries reading 13.2v! so far so good!
@@M22Research I stand corrected. I hadn't read the actual reviews.

OH SNAP 🎉🎉🎉🎉 I WAS JUST LOOKING AT THIS BATTERY ON AMAZON....
THIS IS LIKE A GIFT..😊😊😊😊😊
I bought this brand battery in their mini size and it has worked flawlessly so far. I even had a question about the app and emailed the company and they responded within 24 hours.
Would love to see you review the Wattcycle mini. Thanks for this review too!
Impossible to know the quality of these cheap batteries without your videos! Thanks!
@@wattcyclepower Thanks!
That's amazing, Will. Best looking budget battery so far. You are right, tariffs are coming. Wish I needed batteries NOW but I don't.
I built my own battery thanks to your videos. I still believe you can build a better battery cheaper. Case in point. I have 8 280ah 3.65v cells in series with a BMS and spent less than a grand all in a space smaller than three of those batteries.
Hey. You think you can help me put together a parts list for my sprinter van build as I don’t got clue on solar I would like to have maybe a 5kw system put inside of it Thnks
I did the same thing… 580ah of battery in a very small space (under the entry steps in our Sprinter motorhome).
wow. I just got a solar panel for my Jackery knock off and I would totally consider this! I would need an inverter to make use of this tho.
Have you checked out Redodo batteries?
Yes, he tested them when they were named zoom.

I knew very little about these batteries, went on their website, what's the difference between a Group 24 and Group 31 battery? Thanks for all your videos! keep up the great job!
Yes they make 24v, I just looked it up.
I have seen these on temu, im glad you did this review
Any thoughts on Ecoflow’s new 12V 100Ah battery? Any better than the others, or similar internals but with brand recognition labeling?
That's next video
I own a no name 120Ah Lifepo4 battery purchased on eBay a year ago that replaced 2x 100Ah AGM batteries. It's connected to a 50A DCDC Booster, according to the manual it can only handle 45A but so far it's working just fine. The battery performs well, it gives me 3 1/2 days in my RV just
like the AGM did running a compressor cooling box, lighting and phone charging. I doubt it has the 120Ah, more like 100 but for the money I'm super happy.
They sent me one of these for free I've been waiting for someone reputable to make a video to see if it's a scam. Haven't watched the whole video yet. Watching it now before I promote to my viewers. If it's a scam then it's a no-go I'll send it back.
Edit: mine is the Bluetooth "smart" one
The price is going up after your video 179-209 range. Saw one at 159 for first time. Future storage 3k system at least for a Ford E-transit high ceiling and extend. 😊
Outstanding video as always. I just ordered a mini 100ah BT from Amazon $179 it’s very interesting that watt cycle is shipped from the Ecoflow warehouse in Walnut California.
Your correct batteries are going to be costly again.
I am happy this battery is so good! I bought one 6 months ago.
You normally mention the type of BMS. Couldn't make it out on the video. Make and model?
I looked all over the board and I couldn't find a manufacturer name.
I’m always surprised when I go back and check LifePo4 pricing. Saw redodos drop their price and then a Prime sale coming so I waited for it and got 4 12v100 ah base group 24’s for $149.67 USD each with free shipping. I am pleased to have a forced air furnace backup power system for that price. Two summers ago I was pleased to have a 12v 300 amp LiFePo4 battery bank in my camper for $1,500, SOK, and in 2016 I was blown away with my 200amp Battleborn setup without a lithium specific charger and without solar in my camper at $1,500. Got them before they jumped to $900 ea.
Man, I was wondering if Will was going to do a review of these when they started popping up all over the place.
