Yep, they claim so: "Thanks to the dedicated mapping, delivery is improved and all of the power and torque is released." My personal experience is that it was more sharp and powerful without dB killers, with dB killers little bit less.
Yeah, Im hoping I wont have to do that. I am actually kind of worried my self I want to take this bike on LONG rides 500 - 600 miles. I haven't used ear plugs just yet on it but with a shoei helmet and ear plugs and a sena you think i'll be alright ? so far I rode the bike for 30 minutes no DB killers no ear plugs and yeah my ears were ringing when I got off.
Ear plugs don't help, its low frequency. I had different problem, I wanted to accelerate everywhere I like --- but with Termis I had to look for little children around, so in town it was impossible to hit the gas :)
Lauri hmm so I guess what your saying is you loved it but it was too loud because of noise restrictions? We'll see what happens as far as the sound for a few hundred miles. But one more question what type of screw do the baffles take because I lost them from the dealership I need to go pick some up. If possible send me a private message?
