In case you missed it: In the first scene: 0:17 "from the Battery to the top of Manhattan" In the last scene: Kendall is in Battery park, i.e., he's gone from the top of Manhattan to the Battery
It's interesting that the opening and ending scenes both centre on Kendall. He's spent most of his life vying for control of Waystar, and now that it's out of his reach, he doesn't know what to do.
Most funny thing is that in fact the 1st scene ever on Succession was Logan pissing on his bedroom carpet (everyone even HBO forgot about that, that’s how you know who was the most important character of the show was). Team Ken baby!
Kendall's one of the most detestable characters in tv history. But Jeremy Strong embodied him with so much empathy, it's hard to hate him even when you're supposed to.
we rode this incredible journey with Kendall, all the way! Through all his peaks & troughs. It is really something in a show where every character was wholesome & intense!
Greatest television show of its generation and one of the greatest performance given by Jeremy strong truly one of the best actors working today if not the best with potential of being one of the greatest of all time
My Poor Sweet Mittens/Jeremy doesn't have a Happy Ending. I'm here for you Mittens no matter what I always care about you. Look at the bright side, you saved me on my 18th birthday last February 2023 because of bad moments for me, which was the best birthday gift ever and you changed my life. Because of you that you cope me my stressed because of school, bad days, quiz and exam when I always looking at you with a beautiful and cutie smile ever and you make me blushing all the time and comfort moment that I have a crush on you. Thank you Mittens, for being my life. - love Prix ☺️👍🏻❤️🤗
A lot of people who get curious that I'm nickname for Jeremy Strong, "Mittens," has a fun origin story. I based from "The Owl House," where Amity Blight's nickname, "Mittens," perfectly captures her soft yet fierce personality. I first met Jeremy Strong in April 2023 after celebrating Easter and the series finale of "The Owl House." Seeing him in the "Connor's Wedding", best episode of "Succession" solidified the connection - his intensity, vulnerability, and powerful energy reminded me of Amity's "Mittens" vibe. ☺️😺❤️
This show was a masterpiece in its entirety unlike HOTD that had truly awful writing in s2, no nuance whatsoever, just boring good vs evil and inconsistent characterization
One of the most unsatisfying series endings ever. After a season-long buildup positioning Kendall as the winner, the writers became so focused on subverting expectations that they forgot it’s supposed to be enjoyable, completely destroying the show’s rewatchability in the process.
succession isn't at all the show that's supposed to be ‘enjoyable.’ kendall was _never_ going to win. it was always going to end this way because that's how his character was always being written.
Life isn't all rainbows and butterflies. The ending fit with what we had witnessed over 4 seasons. Also disagree on the rewatchability. I've been able to go back and watch because the writing is that good.

It's like poetry, it rhymes.
first time noticing. immaculate. well done John-jt8pj.
One of the greatest TV shows of all time. I've learned so much tuning in.
The emotional roller-coaster of the eldest boy was insane

The eldest boy
“No you’re not?”
@ shut up
conheads won't like this
I was just missing this show the timing with this upload is crazy ‼️
We need more from this universe, far too good to be a one and done.
Fine, I'll watch it again

Lyric from the song he is listening to “From the Battery to the Top of Manhattan”
Final scene… Kendall in Battery Park (From the top to the bottom)
Loved it and it's now playing out for real with the Murdocks.
I felt so sorry for him anticipating all his life the job he never got.
The first scene is actually Logan pissing on the carpet which, I feel, is quite fitting.
It's a good compilation.
Keşke o günlere dönebilsek😢
Great movie, had a good laugh through all 4 seasons
It truly was epic.
Kendall and Roman are fighting again for Best Supporting Actor for The Oscars this year
to be precise, first scene of the show is Logan Roy pissing on floor in dark.
Was Kendall the fool because no one believed in him, or did no one believe in Kendall because he was a fool?

Jeremy/Mittens, I love you so much lad bigger than the whole sky! Happy Early Valentine's day! ❤️👍🏻😉💌
This actually isn't the first scene.
Andante Risoluto
This was NOT the day he made things happen 💀
So you're saying he wasn't the man?
Mi van veled papito?😔
I didn't "get" the ending.
Man wanted something very badly all his life. Man didn't get that something. Man is sad and doesn't know what to do with his life anymore.

It was a bit anticlimactic I agree.

@@migratory.114 well if the goal was to make it unenjoyable then mission accomplished!
@@anish87 disagree and I think the streaming numbers support support that.
how dare u, hbo 🥲
