After years of straightening my hair doesn’t know what it is anymore it’s like mostly wavy straight underneath and random curls here and there 😩 I miss my curls
Ai A mine is like that too i never had like “curls” because my mom always blow dried it so much it looked straight but after the first day it always got like wavy and now its al weird
Leona Higgs yes I stopped straightening my hair and I’m now trying to get my natural curls back I used to straighten my hair SO much like everyday but yeah..
Some tips to add to this!!!! -Use your fingers or wide tooth comb to comb the hair instead of using a brush (while conditioner is in) -Do the entire routine while upside down (this one is weird but it worked I couldn’t believe it) -Use an old t shirt to dry your hair, or simply let it air dry never ever let your curly hair touch a normal towel! -Lasty, use some alligator hair clips at the roots of your hair to make it less flat. I hope this helps :)
I didn't use a hair towel in my last washday and my hair remained soft for much more time,i think it's bcz when i apply the oil replacement,i leave the towel for too much,it end up drying it out from water and cream too, just leave it for 10min,also the brushing on wet hair can damage it,u should brush it when it's damp(between dry and wet)
Don’t wash your hair everyday, use coconut or olive oil leave in hair for about an hour, make hair masks with honey, egg, olive oil or search some up and scrunch your hair after shower
SimplyA you can try finger coiling to enhance your curls and to encourage your hair to curl but that’s just how some natural curly hair is with it being 2 textures.
Future Katie realizing that agave doesn't really have a scent. The Maui Moisture mask had pineapple extract in it so that's what I was smelling. Oops XD
Same here, its the second week of me trying the same method as this girl and its not working at all for now. I will keep on going but I am afraid my hair just lost its natural curl from damage and straightener. 😰
So i need help when i was littl'e i had spiral curls and then someone cut all of my curls off from then on i had straight wavy hair then i straightened my hair for a while then Stopped i need to know if i will ever have curly hair again? Or is it going to be straight forever now?
This is exactly what happened to me! I never got my curls back either and I don’t think that they will come back. But my hair does get curly when I wash it, not super curly, but just a bit. My hair gets curlier when I use Herbal Essences hello hydration coconut conditioner though.😭
i literally had such cute tight ringlets and then me and my sister played “husband and wife” so i was the husband and she forced me to shave my head 😭😭😭 now it’s wavy and damaged and frizzy
I had cute little curls too but idk what happened I just I brushed my hair taking out my curls or something not sure...Dont really use heating stuff...
I’ve blow dried my hair straight ever since I was little because I was stubborn and wanted straight hair and I kept doing it Bc I just was convinced I had straight hair and I also started straightening it in 2017 and have everyday since then. and it wasn’t until mid March I realized I didn’t and wanted my curls back. Any tips/ products to use so I can get them back?
Your curls are so nice! What’s that brush you used? I’m looking for a good one because I mostly just forego even brushing my hair, because it just makes it poofy. Currently on the journey of restoring my hair, which is mixed 2b/c. I like learning how to care for my locks😊
Catherine Duong I always recommend the Denman brush which I got from Sally’s Beauty Supply Store. It’s very gentle with curls and makes them more defined. After I put in product I brush it through with the Denman brush while my hair is still wet :)
2am rn and am looking up these videos since i regretted straightening my hair and i don't want to wash it yet bcs i'm scared my curls won't come back :(

When I was little I hated my curls. I wanted straight hair so I didn't use curling products, cut my hair to my shoulders and now I have straight hair. I love it but it would be so nice to get my curls back 😭🙌
When i was younger I had really curly hair but overtime my curls disappeared (I used to straighten my hair all the time). And now i am trying to get back my natural curls. I have tried everything and nothing seems to be working for me, nothing is lasting in my hair.
My hair pattern is weird I have a little section in the front on both the left side and the right side that are spiral curls like probably 3b but the back is almost straight probably 2b and I hate it any advice what to do
my best friend has beautiful red curly hair but she literally straightens it every single day of her life and she looks beautiful either way but i am positive her hair is fried. i also have curly brown hair and i have damaged mine where only parts of my hair are curly. i have stopped using heat and i’m trying to get my curls back. i really love her hair but its dead. :(

I am thinking of buying shampoo to make curls but I am not sure if it gonna work I don’t wanna waste money in my country is hella expensive. What y’all would recommend?
