    Absolutely brilliant mods. Sadly not all the mods you showed seem to be available here in India, but a great video to explore what can be done. Thanks 🔥

      Yes, such a shame about the restrictions on mods in India. The U.K gov likes to pretend that bikers don't exist, so we quietly get away with all sorts :)

    Everyone has their favorite modifications. You and I agree on the up-and-back handlebar risers. In order of importance to me I did the following: 1) Large touring windshield (Madstad) 2) Michelin Road Classic tires 3) handlebar risers 4) Tire Pressure Monitoring System 5) LED headlight bulb 6) kickstand foot riser to fix severe lean (home-made). The exhaust pipes, fueling, and evap system are factory stock and will remain that way because the bike runs perfectly as is and sounds excellent (don't want it louder).

  • @ricardorgomez

    As soon as I heard the bike I thought the pipes may have been changed. Sounds FANTASTIC. Hope to get one this year. I would like to do a 2-1 headers which would cut a ton of weight and clean up the look of the bike too. We'll see. Bike looks great!

    I agree, the Interceptor is fantastic straight out of the box, but the fuel booster plug and DNA air filter are essential first upgrades, acceleration is just so much smoother.
    I've ordered YSS front suspension and TEC rear shock and exhaust upgrades so it looks like I'm on the right track!

    Consider fitting the Conti Road Attack 3 tyre. Best backroad tyre on the planet in my experience (and it won best backroad tyre in Germany several years back to back). Incredible predictable grip even from cold, deep groves that shift water fast and even allow grip on light off road use, with exceptional longevity too. Best of all, is simply the 'feel' they have for peg to peg scratching, confidence inspiring.

    Very, very nice video! Your modifications are absolute useful and make this bike by the way so beautiful!
    In the past i drove many modern bikes like a Fireblade, BMW S 1000 R and so on, now i'm a proud owner of one of the
    last Triumph 1050 Speed Triple. All these bikes are equipped with everything, you can wish, but: this Royal Enfield
    is a really dreambike, a bike for the heart - especially with the mods you made. I think about to get an Interceptor, but i'm not sure,
    that all the mods are possible here in Germany! Greetings and many thanks for this video!

    The Interceptor is a bike I am interested in, had a ride today along with the Super Meteor and loved both. Decisions, decisions.
    I like the bars you have put on with the risers. I am 6' 1" and find the INT650 a bit small but the bar mods would help. If I get one I will drop the pegs as well.
    One thing I found with the INT650 was a stiff clutch, like back in the day. You explained your stance very well, I think that helps a lot. Keep it up.

    I'm going to be doing a number of these mods on my Continental GT Black Magic.
    Only had it in September, and already replaced the stock cans with Lexmoto slip-ons and they sound phenomenal, even if the branding on them is a little questionable. DNA performance filter was the first thing to be changed, as were the mirrors for the motogadget mo.spy bar end ones, which are wonderful.
    As for others to come, definitely going to go for the YSS front and rear upgrades, as too many owners and reviewers have raved about them for me to simply ignore how good they are and may even sort out the brake and clutch lever setup, but I'm happy with it for now (and only 500 miles since picking it up).
    Your setup is looking stunning though and that sound... oh sweet Zeus that sound!

    You have done some great mods to your bike. The most important thing is that you are happy with them.
    So far I have held off from the air filter/ booster plug, not yet fully convinced about it. I think the motone bar risers are the best looking I have seen so far, but I am quite happy with the standard set up. I like the idea of the yss front suspension but I’ve only seen it installed on bikes with bar risers, so I’m holding off on that until I see it successfully installed with standard bars. Keep up the good work.

    • @WildlifeMoto
      @WildlifeMoto  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cheers Martin. Yes, I'm a bit in love with the way it turned out. Agree about the fuel plug, these is no real evidence that it delivers more power. I would say it "feels" smoother though (subjective I know)

    • @TonMachielsen
      @TonMachielsen 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@WildlifeMoto Well, it doesn't deliver more power. If you read the free e-book on www.boosterplug.com/shop/cms-fuel_injection_book.html they actually explain that it doesn't and why. Very educational book, BTW. Ah, and no stakes in the Boosterplug company, BTW. I just love that purchase.

      Look at TEC bike parts simple mod of the air intake cover as a first step if you're not totally convinced about the air filter. He cuts the top off the plastic cover to allow more airflow. The standard setup is very restrictive.

      I fitted a booster plug on my Bonneville T120 and it definitely stopped low speed snatchiness in town, but I’ve not noticed this to be a problem on the Interceptor so doubt I’ll bother. Ditto for pipes running with baffles in and they’re excellent haven’t tried baffles out yet.

    • @TonMachielsen
      @TonMachielsen 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Conti GT here. The Booster Plug completely changes the character of the bike, especially low down. So smooth. And no, don't expect extra power. It just snoothes the power the bike has out better. Best 150 bucks i have spent on the bike so far.

      Congrats on the new bike. Yes it looks great out of the box. Have a look at the 2Win shocks from The Shock Factory if you want something more inline with the style of the bike. These were going to be my choice but they had some production issues during the first wave of C-19. It might be sorted now.

    • @SteveW67
      @SteveW67 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Will take a look thanks, I’ve also fitted motone bar risers and maybe will change bars for something black and lighter, which model of lsl bars did you use ? I don’t want anything too wide and start to get into cable changes etc. plus I need filtering capabilities so wider bars can be a problem. Thanks 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

    • @WildlifeMoto
      @WildlifeMoto  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes you need to be careful with the Motone risers and aftermarket bars. When I installed the LSL naked bars I had to re-route the throttle cables behind the forks and mess around with the routing of the break line. I also cut about 1.2cm off the end of each side with a pipe cutter. I'm currently running the LSL Superbike bars with a re-routed brake line and longer throttle cables (Domino). It's a bit of a pain.

    Here in Belgium and Luxembourg and France you need a conformity certificate for other exhaust pipes, as far as I know this is also the case in Austria and Italy. For that reason I took the Akrapovic pipe of my Yamaha FZ1 Fazer when I bought it second hand and went back to a stock pipe. There was a conformity certificate with the bike but the police in those country's has always the last word and you don't want a 250 euro fine when driving there. Something for English bikers to remember when they come to the continent. The other mods of you look interesting, I am interested in the Domino XM2 Throttle mod.

    • @WildlifeMoto
      @WildlifeMoto  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good point, always worth staying on the right side of the law. These pipes are "e marked" and confirm with BSAU 193A. They also come with a bunch of paperwork that I didn't read. Police in the UK generally will leave you alone unless you take the absolute micky. These pipes don't turn heads like the Akra on my Tuono haha.

      I'll make a video on this soon. I always keep the bike coated in ACF50 and use various waxes and sealers on the paint and wheels. This way when the bike gets dirty, it's pretty easy to get it clean again. When the engine casing (the painted parts) gets dirty, I just use a gentle degreaser and a brush to clean it up for before the dirt gets burnt in.

    Another enjoyable WM Enfield vid, Thank You.
    One question.......@1.21 and 1.47 (and again @8.17) it looks like the YSS fork cap isn't screwed tightly all the way home, as the o-ring still seems to be visible along with a 2 - 3mm gap between the cap and stanchion top. Is that correct, or is there some reason for this, as I can see you've put red line-up marks on the caps and stanchions? Incidentally, when the bike is behind you whilst you're talking in the garage the gap no longer appears to be there! Can you clarify please? Thanks in advance.

    • @WildlifeMoto
      @WildlifeMoto  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you. The caps are only hand tightened and I’ve used the red marker to ensure they don’t move (or if they do it’s obvious). On the close-ups you can see the o-ring but the cap is on pretty tight. On the wide shots you don’t notice it, but it’s still the same.

    • @Gambo916
      @Gambo916 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@WildlifeMoto Thanks for the reply. Is there a reason why you've only hand tightened the caps, instead of tightening them down with a spanner, socket or torque wrench? I'm guessing the gap and o-ring wouldn't be visible then? Thanks again.

    • @WildlifeMoto
      @WildlifeMoto  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Gambo916 I guess I could crank it down with a spanner, however I’d advise against going too hard. It’s an aluminium part so the thread could strip quite easily. It’s down pretty tight so I’m confident it won’t come loose 🤞

The stock reservoir is not compatible with the new levers. What is the part number or how would I locate this part?

      @@WildlifeMoto Have to say one other note that would help is that the is no way to re-attach the stock mirrors, so after fixing the Brembo levers and front pads I also have no place to attach the mirrors. Too excited about getting the breaks working again that I did not think about the mirrors. First trip was to find round bar end mirrors. Well the stock mirrors were not wonderful in any case. I have to say that the Brembo levers make a world of difference for small hands. Though ... to be careful the tighter you make them the more grabby they are. So I've been having to let them out little by little to find a sweet spot of comfortable reach and not too grabby.
