I was just talking about this to another raptor owner in person today, that was thinking about doing it, I had brand new struts on, and comparing it to my last raptor that already had the mid perch, I think after doing the mid perch it made it alittle stiffer but it also felt like I had bump steer, when I would hit anything in the road it would throw the whole truck, it’s not so bad that I would change it, I probably would feel weird if it was back to stock hight, but it did do that to a noticeable amount! I have not taken it off roading since I did that as well
its a terrible feeling when I go back and re-watch a video and notice within the first 12 seconds I already messed it up lol I bought a 2013 super cab! I wish it was a crew cab!
Did the ford dealer replace the front struts under a ford extended warranty or did you decide to have the dealer do the work because you new it would be done right. Thanks in advance
My thought on that is that it would cause the suspension to be maxed out, and it would affect ride comfort, from everything I was reading online people are able to do that, but it did not fit with how I wanted it to be able to ride so I chose not to
Good info. I’d like to do mid perch on my truck soon.
After a couple months, has your ride quality changed?

Good video, definitely levels out the truck. What about doing top perch?
