My TM has spot lock, but I generally do not use it once I find them. I think it moves around too much and I like to actively pan around on the TM. Only exception may be if I break off/retie or need to put fish in the livewell and it’s very windy

are you using a Spot Lock trolling motor? once you find them do you lock your trolling motor away from them?
