*I already own the Battle II combo **enjoyable.fishing** recommend and decided to try a Fierce II combo to carry out to the pier. Works great and for the money they are hard to beat.*

This video was such a great learning tool. My latest new rod was a St. Croix. Two thumbs up!

So 6’9 XF vs 6’6 fast? Which one is more universally preferable for this?

@@chipsammich2078 I use a 6 foot ugly stick for dock shooting. It works fine

    It takes alot of practice.

A little practice, and the right action rod. After 10 minutes or so, I was hitting them pretty consistently.

I got an ultra light with 4 lbs. After about 5-10 trys I was hitting about dead on. It seem better when you dont over compensate

    What line ?

      David,
We recommend something hi-vis. The high visibility line will give you the ability to see your line jump or start swimming off if it is an extremely light bite or you don't feel the fish. Generally a 4-6lb hi-vis monofilament line will get the job done in 99% of circumstances. Thanks!
