Taku & Jocelyn, you two put out videos with excellent diversity and are super fun to watch content. It's cool how all your hosts welcome you into their world like a long-lost friend.
Hey Taku and Jocelyn Isn't it interesting how different and the same Oyster Farming is. I just watched a Black Family in New Orleans. They are the last generation of Oyster Farmers out there. Very methodical, caring kind People who just love what they do 👍. Tha ks for the Trip 🌞. JO JO IN VT 💞
This is amazing! I did that episode on the oyster farm in Ireland and Hawaii, I think every place I go I’m gonna try to film an oyster farm. This looked unreal
Great content Tacou, taky, tiky Taku! My bad you have a beautiful name. This is PBS quality filming and documenting. Well done guys! Makes me hungry. Your girl is a very special one. Rock on the life!
Nice tour. I was somewhat envious. I could just about live on oysters. Straight out of the ocean to mouth is wonderful, but those that have moved from the coast have to put up with lesser products. They still taste great... Good video. Nice cook-up.
Kia ora Taku...my husband an i have been following u for a year now...ur sooo amazing! Hope u loved our tangaroa.,great fishing here in Aotearoa (New Zealand) land of the long white cloud...u rock u an Joclene,.sorry hunny if i spelt ur name wrong...but nga mihi kia korua...Im Maori and hopefully youse will return for another episode...kinas yummy yum yum ✌️
Another great video! Always enjoy watching your content :-) Do you have a video describing what camera gear you use in your videos to look so amazing? Or sharing here what camera and lens you have would be great help too 🙏🏻
Did I miss it; how do you seed these cages so that oysters can grow? In the past, I have seen north Atlantic oyster farms using discarded shells to speed new oyster growth.
you know what i just realized why not just shuck a 4 month old oyster for fine dining or in a combo, resturants would probably bank off its looks cause its much smaller, and if its much more clean and sweeter the younger it is then thats also a big plus
Hey, I was wondering if I could get some advice from Jocelyn about the skeeter syndrome and pointers or tips I can use that she has found that work with it my daughter Phi is struggling with bug bits and id love to help her be in the outdoors *thebugbitething is the only thing we have found to work
How your trip did you sell your van after Your trip, did you bring your van to California if you did I will like to see you make some outdoor chef life video.
💛...i'm still bummed that frisco voted to shut down thompson's farm in drake's bay, saying it was bad for the environment (ignorance)...but, thankfully, there's hog island and tomales bay farms...
Aloha. How can an oyster farm be bad for the environment? Used to live in Sonoma, and fresh oysters were part of the benefits. For me and the environment.
...exactly... the 'people' of san francisco somehow convinced the park service that it was bad for the environment around point reyes and their permit was rescinded... worst decision ever...
A guy named Jamaican selling my horny oysters is what I genuinely heard. I thought, surely this has to be a troll. Played it back and I've never laughed so hard at my mishearing.
"G'day I'm Jamaican" 🤣 - Jim Aitken
Hilarious!!!
Lol thought he said Jamacian fr fr😂
😂 this got me to. I headed straight to the comments but you beat to it lol😂
Exactly 😂
Hopefully izzy adesanya doesn't see this he would go crazy.
I'm surprised this channel doesn't have over 1 million subscribers yet. The content here is soooooo incredible!
Same these guys are awesome !!!!!!
who cares, most high # channels are all bots
They're definitely on track to hit 1 million.
Usually when someone posts this, they almost always hit that milestone 6 months later so I’m predicting by February next year
A Jamaican oyster farmer in NZ? Now I've seen it all.

Sauce is Perfecto Bro 😉🍀👍
I wish I lived on the coast, I never realized people could "farm the ocean" outside of fish farms. Thanks for the experience Taku.
I found this very interesting and informative!
Awesome video 😊
I sent hubby to buy me some oysters after watching this 😋
You need to buy streaky bacon if you want it crispy bro! It’s definitely in nz
Need this in Galveston, TX. The water is gross and could use a natural filter.
Are you going to put up a video of you and Rod on the Kayak trip?
Outstanding breakfast!
I go collecting wild oysters near where I live here in NZ..there small but so good
BACON FLIP only the most epic meals for fisher glasses. 😂 such an OG reference
Taku that was a great video made me hungry 😂😂😂 I get thick cut and never cook it to crispy I prefer it that way.
You're finally back brother. Gimme a yell on any platform. I'd love to get out with yah

Jim's shirt is rad.
Looks delicious! I love oysters but they're so expensive here in the US.
We immediatley ordered 2 dozen after watching the oyster bacon and egg hanawiti (sandwhich)!
You guys rock.
i like eating oysters with a cilantro, thai chili, garlic, fish sauce, and lime sauce.

Jamaican hooked yall uppers
A guy named Jamaican selling my horny oysters is what I genuinely heard. I thought, surely this has to be a troll. Played it back and I've never laughed so hard at my mishearing.
Doesn't tomles bay got one? It seem the same
Aloha, and yes. Hog Island Oysters, highly recommended. A lot of farms are similar with a few idiosyncrasies depending on where they’re at.
Should invest in square skillets. Bit more room
Pretty good, pretty fancy, lol.
