"Everybody has their own recipe to their own madness...and that madness is normally beautiful."
Dang. That hit. Beautifully.
Right? Wonderful
The dad is the chillest food industry person I've ever seen
It's nice to see a family owned business surviving and thriving!
Esp one this old. The last couple of yrs have been an abs purge
Australian here I fell in love with this family it really touched me and to me this was more about family than oysters xxxxx so calm, so humble…
When an elder speaks to you the way he does? You listen. And you take every single word to heart. God bless this family and may they have nothing but health, happiness, and prosperity in the future. Thank you for sharing such an important story with us!
I am so glad they did this segment. People like that gentleman need to be remembered.
@@JimDean002There is still alot of them left! Especially down here in the South! They just need more exposure as this is real American culture and Southern Hospitality!
These are the kind of hardworking folk that are the backbone of our entire country. Beautiful to see people passionate about what they do and working hard to achieve their goals. Wish them nothing but success and blessings in the future.
There's something special about family business that has been past down to generation to generation.
Native Georgian that grew up in coastal GA (Savannah and Jekyll)...
Good to see them keeping the tradition alive and well. I could eat 2 dozen right now. God bless.
the father and daughter dynamic is adorble
I work with my dad. I wish more sons and fathers got the opportunity to work together. It's such a gift.
The whole family must have backs of steel. Much respect.
Wish all families and communities were like this. Working as a big family.
What a humble hard working family. His the father is soft spoken and he really knows his craft. God bless them.😊
Nice........pray your family continues this for decades more.
I love this piece, growing up in a farming community I thought I knew about hard work. Seeing what this family has to go through is beyond the hard work I’ve endured. May the good Lord above watch over this hard-working family, and bring them lots of riches in life.
I’ve eaten my fair share of oysters on the half shell, I had zero idea how they were farmed… nice to see a family business passing it down still.
I've had the pleasure of meeting the family at an oysterfest, and I have to say, they have some of the most flavorful, delicious oysters around.
This is very inspiring for me , seeing two businesses keeping their strong bond , thriving together for years to come.
Beautiful family, great to see that dedication to their craft. Bless them.
What an amazing family, and Mr. McIntosh just has this peaceful wisdom about him. Could listen to him talk for hours.
The dedication and the wisdom of the elder McIntosh brought a tear to my eye. GREAT video!
Oysters are one of my favorite seafood so it's awesome to see the McIntosh family grow and harvest them with passion

Proud to hear the story of my fellow Georgians who have put so much into their craft! Inspiring!
Glad to see folks like that
Listening to Mr. McIntosh talk beats any ASMR video!
i just need him to keep talking about life, so soothing
Love this. Just so cool how much of a back story one little family that provides oysters for a restaurant is. You can tell the dad and son are just so passionate about what they do too. Something that's probably mundane for most people is everything to them and I have so much respect for people who live a life like that.
I love this! Just shows you that money doesn’t buy happiness! Awesome
Mr McIntosh could read lullaby stories on calm for a living. Such a soothing voice and soul!
That Madness is beautiful. Well said!! That can be said about many trades someone can learn. But the devotion and grind shapes the master of their craft.
Great production !
The Macintosh family works very hard and are passionate about their produce.
Love that southern accent and preserved way of life! Cultivating it and making a name for art the family is creating. Much respect to my home town people!
This family is an absolute treasure. I really enjoyed learning about their journey, and Mr. Macintosh is an elder i could listen to all day. Continued wisdom and blessings, can't wait to visit them on my next trip to Savanah.
Gosh how I wish there were more people like the McIntosh Family! Everything how they do what they do is truly inspiring! The epitome of what makes our country a beautiful place to live. Please y'all support local family run businesses, it truly is the financial backbone of so many of us. 🙏xoxo

This is what you call hand raised/picked organic produce. Three generations of McIntosh's working together and farming/producing a sustainable product.

There's just something cool about Mr. McIntosh Sr.'s demeanor. Humble gentleman!

There’s just something amazing about earning an honest living. These guys are working and living in paradise.
A beautiful story with a great family, and a great restaurant.
This is my favorite video you all have ever done. Man Americans we have so much more in common than we have that is different. But all we do is fight. I wish we could focus more on this type of stuff.
I love Oysters,Most if the time people are complaining how hard they work. This family love what they produce..Thank you!
I met the Mcintosh Family 7 years ago at Landlocked in Atlanta. Every year I look forward to spending time with them. Their oysters are outstanding, and their personalities are even better. I salute this hardworking family. I'll see y'all sooner than later!
@darryljenkins7764 Amem Brother. Have a bushel on hand next month. 😂
_You see something beautiful every day, and then you die._ Interesting take on life. Need these oysters in my life!
Amazing. Good episode. Love that they are still going strong and keeping the hard working tradition alive. Next time I'm in GA I'll be having some of their oysters.
This was so beautiful!
At 6:40 what the gentleman said "you have to be present onsite everyday" it the work ethic that most of us have forgotten. This is hard, backbreaking work and our generation doesn't realize that there are real people who labor daily to bring us our food, maintain our society and build the future. I enjoyed this episode and respect this great family working together. This is the family unit and unity that America and the world needs.
They take alot of pride in their work and it shows in the product. Great story
Thank you for covering this family business! So much wisdom and love. I could listen to Mr. McIntosh for hours.
You could lock me in one of those crates as high tide comes in and this dude's voice would calm me down.
Excellent video and production! Shout out to the McIntosh Family for keeping the family traditions alive! This was so beautiful seeing my Copper Colored People still doing it the traditional way!
Thats a real man right there
I’ve been oystering with my grandfather when I was younger. We used tongs to pick them up and put them in the box. Very hard work.
You can really see the beauty that their father has & that he gets it! Congrats
What a great, genuine, honest man and family.
Great video. Truly amazing to see. Big up Mcintosh family.

Mr. McIntosh is an oyster philosopher. He has an incredible appreciation to life.
These folks are the salt of the earth.
I love these stories. I am happy to see local entrepreneurs supported.
I’m salivating over here, what an amazing family and enterprise to be able to do this. Hard work, but you can literally stop for lunch while you’re working. Awesome
One of the most humble video & family I've ever seen much love from Seattle, WA!!
The deeper the cup, the sweeter the meat. I hear that El Presidente.
You can feel the love they have for each other through the screen
Im not a fan of oysters at all but I love oyster content is something about the grass roots and the ecosystem that I find captivating
This is awesome! I don’t think I’ll ever buy another sack without thinking of and appreciating the Macintosh family and all of the others folks that make it happen. Good stuff!
Not that I needed the crossover to be impressed, but Mashama Bailey is a legend. If she's cooking your produce, it's Michelin quality.
This guy is the most relaxed and content human I’ve ever seen, I wanna have a long talk with him and a glass of bourbon.
Awesome video🤍 what an amazing family. All the best and love from NZ
Folks like this are the heart and soul of small businesses. The love of their business is infectious!
