Vanguard was a shameless way of trying to make Call of Duty overly woke for profits. First the girl sniper you play as could hav actually been the famous Russian sniper who was a real person. They also had an all black unit fighting in the Pacific on Bougainvillea which is completely inaccurate. Then they did the one thing that should nvr be done to historical shooters, added red dots and other stupid accessories that mvr existed back then, just a terrible attempt to make money off being overly woke and making the worst COD ever made to me.
Honestly, they did a decent job with the uniforms. The only issue is that all of the Germans wearing armbands in this game are wearing SS armbands, regardless of if they are actually SS or just Wehrmacht. Overall, not bad for a woke game.

All you had to do was stop talking about it and pretend it didn't exist - nice job earning at another sale. Woke now has no other meaning than "something that makes me uncomfortable"
@@centurionzen1005, first of all, this is CoD: WWII, not CoD: Vanguard, so it came out roughly 7 years ago, not 3. Secondly, at what point did I complain about it and at what point was I triggered?? I stated that the game did a decent job with the NPC models in this specific mission and then I pointed out a single inaccuracy that I noticed, there's a difference between pointing something out and complaining about it, it's CoD, I never expect historical accuracy from CoD, it's an arcade shooter. Great job on making yourself look like a fucking idiot on TH-cam by the way. 🤣🤣👍🏻👍🏻
Very nice details in this mission. CoD really did infiltration missions well, if a bit cliché in how successful you can progress during your infiltration attempt.
Just finished this game after 6 years, about a week ago I decided to finish the game because I had only completed D-Day, and I can firmly say that this is my favorite modern Call of Duty story, it was so much fun!
God I love this mission but the uniforms are so wrong it hurts, like don't say it's an SS headquarters if the uniforms are horrible Wehrmacht SS hybrids that don't show the SS runes. Also most are not the correct shade of field grey. Also the German Soldbuch would not state the reason of visiting a headquarters, it's just your ID papers.
I just can't play games that use a fake cross instead of the swastika. For me it just break completely the immersion of the environment you are supposed to be. I know that there was a law that block the use of the symbols but now Germany give the possibility to use the real symbols. I think they should add the possibility to play with uncensored symbols.
Ikr like cmon might as well go all the way and not censor it because it doesn’t send that same message. The swastika is as notorious as it is because of the Nazis and if you want to depict them as evil as they were might as well go all the way.
these are not original german uniforms. I know that, because i saw enough Photos of my great-grandfahter. he was a Sergeant in the wehrmacht in stalingrad. Or they Tried to copie uniforms of the Standard-SS.
That undercover mission has always bothered me real bad because that one German gaurd was copied and pasted at least 100 times on that mission. Pure laziness from whoever was in charge of creating this mission. 😡😡
This game has A LOT of historical inaccuracies, but it portrayed WW2 so much better than vanguard did

I like this game a lot, I also enjoyed Vanguard, Vanguard could have been a bit better, but I enjoyed it a lot more
