One more nice detail in this mission is after framing Charkov and you walk as bell with Adler out the furnace room, you can see Charkov being dragged of while he keeps saying that belikov is the mole
This is by far one of the best campaign missions in a while. The fact there’s so many choices and the fact you are able to speak and converse with other characters within the original black ops series makes it such a good mission.
"How do you plan to kill me?" Belikov "I already have" Belikov procceds to choke on the poison, he was thinking too hard on a one liner that he drank the wrong cup lmao

@@AlexandruMuntean17 I think we don't understand it because you play as an agent for the Americans. Most americans don't speak or understand russian so I'd assume it made more sense when the game was in development.
@@AlexandruMuntean17 I understand where you're coming from, plus, Bell (as in the character/Personnality that has overwritten our former consciousness) knows about Russian cryptology (and so, he should know the language). But the most probable reason is that, for the sake of keeping the twist hidden for as long as possible, they had to make him dumb to the language of his own.
Not bad, but if I'm not mistaken there's another objective left. If you don't kill the informant in East Berlin then he pops up in the KGB level. Adler mentions him during the phone call
When you go talk to Charkov, raise a toast, drink the poisoned tea and say "I'm sorry I was not a better friend" is the saddest possible outcome for me. I'll try and reformulate it : You're litteraly making small talk with a long time comrade, attempt to kill him but end up ending yourself, desperately try to keep composure as the poison does it's thing, and then confess for something not really relevant. Afterwards, you die, and your comrade thinks you either attempted to silence him, or worse (as in it looks like you weren't even going to hurt your comrade), the others already knew and poisoned your teacup.
Imagine how it’s gonna look for the others though, like Charkov poisoned Belikov. Eventually the evidence against Belikov would have reached Kravchenko but Charkov would have definitely fumbled giving an explanation for having a *body of one of the high-ranked officers* in his office
When Charkov said that he wanted to talk to Belikov after he was done with the prisoner, i wonder if he was going to talk to him about the Mole. Also I wonder how he knew Belikov was the mole.

Did anyone notice that when you play as Belikov inside the KGB, people speak English, but when you start playing as Bell, they speak Russian?
I like to think that, because Belikov speaks Russian, we can understand it, but Bell doesn't so we don't know what they're saying

Does this tie Black Ops and Modeen Warfare together or something?
Yes
It only ties with any MW launched after Modern Warfare 2019. It doesn't tie with the original MW's or the Black Ops games.
@@chako2872 Except the Black Ops games do tie to the Reboot as Cold War is a sequel to Black Ops 1 abd World at War.

The one little thing that annoys me is that they ask the actor to make Charkov sound Russian but he says Mos🐮 like an American
