best and most consistant metal band ever. during my younger days (ages 19 to 23) i worked at a music store and was able to amass a rather huge c.d. collection. ive listened to an almost unhealthy amount of music from all over the world. i say with great confidance that this is the best band ive ever heard. praise hail slayer.
Slayer is awesome. Style never changed at all. Just got faster as years progressed. Don't care what people say Jeff guitar playing was the shit. Will be forever.
That Is why i think that Slayer Is far better then Metallica, ' cuzz they don't change, only evolve, they don't adapte they create style that You want to copy but You just Can ' cuzz it would be obvious!!!.........o yeah, whata fak Is world Is comming to when Kardashian Whores have Slayer or Megadeath written on their chest?..... I mean, CAMOON, be Real!....... But when You think about, it it make perfect sence...... Kardashian Are literaly the female Cult of Death!!!..........hmmmm
@@skywalker3975: I've listened to it hundreds of times. Slayer certainly slowed down the tempo of many of the songs compared to those found on previous releases. Downtuned guitars, lumbering grooves, and less of a traditional thrash approach is what resulted in criticism from certain quarters. I happen to like it as an album (as well as God Hates Us All, etc) but let's not pretend it's the same or as fast as something like Reign in Blood.
I'm israeli, and once i saw they have song called- jihad i was like- omg!! and now i'm in love with this song... and I also love angel of death and i have someone in my family that was in auschwitz during ww2 =\ slayer are on of the greatest, in my opinion.
It was great to see Lombardo joining Slayer again. The Intro is quite melodic, then the distortion overtone explodes, although the melody still retains. Then, at 0:51, the dual lead guitars lock horns for a short and sweet rhythm section, creating one of my favourite parts of the song. Then, a split second afterwards, Tom's unorthodox vocal style blows my mind. This is one of the best songs Slayer has done in a while.
Wow. What a tough song to play! I love Slayer and have seen them over 10 times. Tom's voice isn't what it once was but who cares. I truly believe Lombardo is one of the best drummers in the world in any genre.
we drove up there the same day that slayer were on and left home at some stupid early hour , the combination of sun and lager made me fall asleep and miss most of slayers set !
2:52 = fucking epic! This song is simply amazing. Very vocally demanding and even though Tom gets hoarse at times due to the emotion in the song, he still does an awesome job. Holy fuckin' WAR!
This is my band! Went to see them in Prague. You think they are popular over here? HOLY SHIT those Europeans lose their damn minds! It was the coolest thing I ever saw.
the end part of this song is scary indeed when he finishes it the reat satan there's a pause for a second and that pause just expalins everything about the power and commanding personality of araya and slayer.
one of my favourites from Slayer from their new album Christ Illusion. Love their out of tune sounding solos such a great cacophony... one last thing to say ... FUCKING SLAYER!!!! 5stars...
can some one tell me why I can not find the video to jihad on you tube anymore. It was on here now its gone. If someone has it please post it again I love that video and the song. Slayer is awesome
I am Christian Orthodox too and I think you are doing the right way , following your own religion.. Not like other niggas who betray their religion. I'd rather respect a Muslim than a fake Christian... Keep on rocking!
Since a lot of people seem to be using this as a sort of forum, anyone fancy trading some Slayer, Sepultura or Megadeth DVD's? There are plenty more bands that I have live DVD's of but these are the ones i'm most interested in getting more of.
very true. they evolved but didnt change for the sake of selling more albums. these guys are in thier 40s but still kick so much ass over younger bands.
Slayer is one of the best bands that ever existed...
