Jasmeet Kaur thats what m saying.... West Bengals know them but north and west doesn't. Even people in darjeeling is also not bengali... They knw as gorkhas... So bengal has so much diversity as state.
The Chinese food you had at the end was Indianized Chinese. And the dish was "Schezwan" Chicken which uses "Schezwan sauce" which is probably something only made in India. Most Indians would not eat authentic Chinese food because of the difference in ingredients and intense flavors. The restaurants that serve some authentic Chinese food in India are some high-end Chinese restaurants. I've had the opportunity to live in Shenzhen, China for a few months and loved the food there. I'm back in Mumbai and wish I could enjoy some of the Chinese food again. My favorite was the really spicy Chinese hot pot and the Sichuan chicken, pork, and fish dishes.
2'18 The man said that the people there were all Hakka and Cantoness, which suprised me bc it's rare to metion “Hakka”, a unique chinese patriarchal clan. Hakka(客家) literally means being a vistor/guest to a strange place and then settling and living in this place. Hakka people is people in southeastern china who migrated from the north in the 12th century. I am a Hakka in Meizhou, china. Just happy to be mentioned.
Why don't u come to north eastern area of India...u may get more exiting food over there.... I m big fan of urs...and I want u to come here and explore this region

Jasmeet Kaur thats what m saying.... West Bengals know them but north and west doesn't. Even people in darjeeling is also not bengali... They knw as gorkhas... So bengal has so much diversity as state.
Jasmeet Kaur i just happy that Chinese food can be eaten in india.
LOL! It's the biggest Chinatown in India and most of Indians don't know about it..
Sichuan chicken "I have never seen that dish in sichuan" 😂😂
Our Cantonese ancestors went all over the world, just really proud of ' em.

Mark Wiens is in China! Introduce him to Sichuan Food!
Just happy to be mentioned.
jahua li i dunno... But there are way many hakkas in SE asia....
Hakka is well-known.
