Hyderabad has the best Mughlai cuisine in India. My 4 years in Hyderabad was like living in a food paradise. I had my best Biryani of my life there. I've also tried Biryani in Delhi, Bangalore, Koltaka and many others states but nothing beats Hyderabadi Biryani.

It is most likely the "Gajar ka Halwa" a sweet dish made with carrots or semolina boiled with milk, almonds, sugar, butter, and cardamom. It's very easy to make. Just youtube it and enjoy. :)

Yes, it's Hyderabad, ranked consistently on top for best livable city in India.
Its such a shame that India Pakistan relations are never normal,otherwise you wud see half of Lahore roaming in Indian restaurants all the time. We love to eat and i can see India has plenty of delicious dishes to satisfy our taste buds. Kudos from Pakistan.

Indian cuisine is so vast, even Indians have not complete knowledge about it. Since, it changes with states, unique to geographical regions. Even villages and cities, etc have their own specialty sometimes.

Dude, Did you know that you've tasted the best biryani place in Hyderabad. SHADAB, IS THE HOLY GRAIL FOR ALL THE BIRYANI LOVERS. Go back again, and ask for Chicken Biryani Leg Piece with double masala! I guarantee you that you will remember the taste , texture and fragrance for rest of your life. Also, try Payya ( Goat legs) soup, Zabaan ( Goat tongue) soup with Shermal ( Bread ). I strongly recommend this place being a true Hyderabadi food connoisseur.
