- This video is a short narrative that depicts a High School shooting situation and examples of proper and improper responses. It is used as part of a training program for the Muscogee County School District in Columbus, GA. I was in charge of producing this video as Director of the NPACE Center in the Department of Communication at Columbus State University where I am a Lecturer in Media Production. I served as Director, Director of Photography, 1st Camera Operator, Script Supervisor, Casting Director and Lead Editor. Most all of the cast are local High School students or Columbus State University students plus High School teachers and CSU faculty. The crew was made up of High School and University students working in collaboration with High School and University faculty. The local police and emergency management agency provided their personnel and equipment. We attempted to make this video compelling by creating a story format and combining both cinematic and documentary styles. (Video by Roger Hart)

Project Kay this is my story of what u said
One day there was a lockdown in Project Kay and a massive shooter was there. The whole school went on lockdown. But there’s was one problem. Everyone in his class was screaming “shut up”! So when the shooter heard that,he found were the class was hiding and killed everyone and they all died. The end.
REMEMBER don’t make any sound or even shh someone because if it is a real lock down u will probably die.

10:07 - I also realized that the woman trying to barricade the door that was outward-swinging should have ducked her head under the door's window so she would be away from the line of fire, just in case a bullet does go through the door window. The rest of the door is steel so it should block bullets better than the window. If I were that lady, I would not even dare look both ways in that hallway, fearing that I could announce my presence to the shooter--I would just duck, close the door, and try very hard to stay away from the line of fire.

@@verityrodrigues2652 of my 11 years of schooling I've seen my school (in Australia) go into lockdown once, some crackhead wandered onto school grounds and was apparently armed.
We have a lot of drills, if you are locked out go to the toilets. if you are outside, leave school grounds and either go home or if police are present go to them.
And the people in the vid were noisy as all hell. Sit there, hold hands, cry quietly, do whatever. Just be quiet

Newly upgraded schools like mine are equipped with cameras and other safety features like bulletproof doors and windows. Older schools aren’t that lucky and it’s just terrible how much this happens.

It’s a human reaction.
Basically you could call it a panic attack, considering your in a situation where it’s sudden and you don’t really know what to do.
I think it’s also the fear of death.
It’s not someone’s fault for crying, sometimes they can’t even control it, or don’t even realize they’re crying.
And some people hear loud noises, and that can trigger crying.
Also consider people who may have PTSD, because there are sometimes people in schools with it.
Loud noises, especially gunshots, will trigger an episode.
