  • * My apologies for the sound quality. The sound is left speaker only due to a mistake I made when filming.
In this video we’re going to learn about and practice a powerful method that we can use to be with and manage challenging emotions, sensations, experiences, and even the pain. The name of this method is called pendulation, a term coined by Dr. Peter Levine, who is well known for his work in healing shock and developmental trauma. I think that you’ll find this method quite useful and beneficial when confronted with challenging or difficult experiences. Keep in mind that sometimes it's important to seek assistance in working with difficult experiences and we may need to be supported or witnessed in our healing work.

Thank you, this technique brought calmness to my entire body. And it also made me realize how much I am holding my breath which alone feels constraining!

I have been using pendulation for about 2 weeks and find it an amazing tool. My chronic obsessive thoughts have lessened dramatically. I'm very grateful to be able to see Michael in person weekly.

I fully appreciate the total walk through rather than just an explanation. I needed the guidance. So very helpful for me. I'm able to replay and follow this practice daily. Thankyou.

This is very helpful. I will listen to more times to practice. You made this much clearer than I heard in the past 🙏. And now to practice.

This softened up the tightness in my chest. I found comfort in my left hip..lol. it really helped. It was a challenge in shifting, but I stuck with it and let it just unfold. I was gentle with myself, and my breath became less restricted ❤

I have recently realized how tight and constrained i have been due to not being able to sit with difficult emotions. This had led to alot of anxiety. Now i have a great tool. Saving this to my playlist. ❤ thank you for your work.

OMG. You are brilliant at explaining these concepts from somatic experiencing. I’ve read the book, in an unspoken voice, but with the way you explain things, and even brought in new techniques it made a whole world of difference in my understanding.

Your voice alone chills me out and calms me down. Could you do maybe like, 30 minute guided thingys?

  • @lilabukvic4216

I practise to stay by what is.
