Underrated is a very bad used word, if you have played the game, you actually know the OST, with that in mind ypeople have theirr favorite, for me is God Shattering Star, but because I like that one, or maybe the Apex of the World is best known, that's doesn't mean that the other songs are underrated, because we like the game and the OST itself, we can say all the OST is awasome, and just there are difference in prefference between the players, most because all the OST is a incredible work for the musicians and more people behind it. I mean, even the normal battle or non-battle music of this game is incredible. Concluding with that, if you have no interest in the game, you never heard the song, and cant judge it like "under or overrated" anyways.
I hope the fire hasn't died for this incredible soundtrack. It's still one of my absolute favorites to cover so I hope you still enjoy these as much as I am enjoying making them! Silver Snow might not be the best route, but damn is its final boss theme gorgeous. I still really wish Rhea was at least playable in this route and had supports with the cast, it would've made the final battle and ending far more tragic
Agreed, having Rhea playable would have differentiated it at least. Just like how Jeritza is playable in Crimson Rose. But I still stand by that Silver Snow is better than Crimson Rose, even if the final battle is 10 times more annoying in Silver Snow haha

I know that technically SS was made first, but frankly after playing all the routes, that structure works best with VW in my opinion. Preferably, we would've spedrun saving Rhea/fighting Edelgard, but because of the rushed rescue, maybe Imperial resistance led by Hubert/an escaped Edelgard/TWSITD replacements leads to conflict to fill in the chapters that were lost? Like imagine killing Edelgard in the capital only to see an "Edelgard" pop up at a SS-specific Gronder Field battle.
Not participating in the Battle of Gronder is honestly the biggest flaw with SS. Arguably the saddest and canonically the most brutal battle in the entire game, and it just happens in the background. The entire route really needed more distinctions, otherwise you're better off with VW.
When I can't get an onion for a supply quest in part 2 of my golden deer route even though I used vegetable seeds, and a mixture of seeds that aren't flower seeds.

Tbh this could have easily been the final map theme of CF too. Apex of the World feels more like AM boss theme for obvious reasons. While Funeral of Flowers is the Rhea boss theme. Not sure why CF used Apex when Rhea is the boss on that route too. It would have worked because it's actually a sad final map with the fires of Fhirdiad.
@@l.n.3372 I don't think funeral of flowers would work for CF rhea because killing her isn't sad, you've seen how much of a monster she is and most people probably wanted to kill her. But I agree that apex of the world doesn't work well as a rhea boss theme too, every other route's final boss theme is related to the boss and not the lord you chose.

Nemesis is undoubtedly associated more with God Shattering Star, but because it only plays for VW, Claude gets the association by default. The problem is that Apex and Funeral could be about the boss or the lord. If Apex is actually Edelgard's theme, then it makes sense why it plays twice: in AM where she's the tragic final boss, and in CF where she survived the war. However if Apex is not about Edelgard and is simply the boss theme alone, then why the hell does it play for Rhea on CF and Edelgard on AM, when both bosses are different and the routes are very different in tone? If the map music was about the boss alone, then Funeral should play every time Rhea is the boss, but it only plays for SS and not CF. But again we have the fact that Apex also feels like a Dimitri theme music too because it works better on AM than on CF, in which case there's absolutely no reason at all for it to play on CF final map where Dimitri wasn't present anymore in CF. Edelgard is a monster too in final map of AM by all accounts. But Apex works as the final map music because it feels like a culmination of the entire game's themes and tones. It's a triumphant battle where Dimitri has regained his humanity vs the demonic Edelgard who has lost hers to fulfill her own dreams. But the final cutscene of AM is undoubtedly tragic. Looking at CF, Rhea was a "monster" in CF final map too. Transforming yourself and losing yourself doesn't mean it isn't tragic. Not SS style tragic but still tragic. And Funeral is Rhea's theme. So I do think it works because CF is actually tragic too, because Rhea losing her mind and becoming insane is still tragic. Hence Funeral as the tragic boss theme for both Rhea battles. However, I think we can probably agree that CF could have just had its own unique final map theme instead of reusing either Apex or Funeral. CF felt rushed and tbh using Apex felt like a strange choice because the tone is different than in AM.
In the first Rhea fight at Garreg Mach I initiated on her with Edelgard at 79% chance to one shot and she dodged and then crit me back at 10% to kill me, so she went pretty hard there lol

It's funny this dropped right as I'm about to finish this route today. Strangely fitting as this is the last time I'll probably play this game as I've already finished the previous routes and DLC. It's bittersweet, in a way. Great cover, by the way. Looking forward to more!

I'm actually the opposite, Crimson Flower route is the only one I haven't finished because it's too hard for me to betray Rhea. And the fact that CF route is lackluster compared to others didn't help either.

But it is a good story tied with azure moon imo. And considering all of three houses has fairly mediocre story, I really was expecting better from CF, but I’m not super upset cause I don’t think it’s terrible either way
