Yourself and homeless are by far the best content in the world for truckin mate . I watch a lot of the US guys and English but you guys take it to a different level .
Thanks heaps. We just got to get Ken to 10,000 subs now.
@@RoadTrainAdventures Ken well deserve that.
😂😂😂😂😂🎉
@manjulamail For sure
Your videos just get better and better mate. Thank you
Awesome. Thanks Daniel.
Fantastic photography Jonno, really appreciate you sharing Australia 🇦🇺
Very nice. Thanks for watching.
Thank you SO much Johnno for the wonderful video of the Town History and trip to Port Hedland. Stay Safe mate.
Thanks heaps. You'll have to stay tuned for next week where part 2 has the conclusion.
Looking forward to seeing parts 2 and 3 and possibly 4, excellent, Ken may get jealous. Ray.
Awesome. Thanks Ray. No Ken's videos are still beret than mine but yes stay tuned for part 2.
Salads, call into a supermarket, prepackaged, prepare prior to driving, and trays of cakes, slices, fruit, Health food section find healthy snack bars. Set up a small fridge or Esky in the truck. Spend the savings on disposable cutlery. Sandwiches, or rolls buy at the supermarket, cold meat, and salad mix, Sandwich bags or cling wrap, buy water and drinks. The time it takes to wait for service, you can prepare the food yourself. Hot cooked meal can be cheaper at lunch times pubs or clubs, in the country towns. Portable tables and chairs come in all shapes and sizes these days, for meal preparation. As a traveller i also pack a small gas burner, for making hot drinks myself..
Thanks Leanne but this is something I don't like doing. I've never liked preparing meals or cooking. I usually buy Subway for a healthier meal or if the fast food. I do have a fridge for milk as I have cereal.
Johno, I think this is one of the most beautiful places on earth👍👍👍
Thanks Raymond. You got that right. For sure.
@@RoadTrainAdventures it’s totally mesmerizing to me. I’ll never get to go there, but thank you for sharing the beauty.
Wow. Wow. Wow. Loved this Johnno. The drone footage was breathtaking particularly at the end over Bunda Cliffs. Can’t wait for the next episode. Thank you for sharing your journey and your trucking life. ❤
Awesome. Thanks again Karen
Another good one Johnno. Nice wrap on Dunedoo, I have been through there e few times, it’s a good little town. We are just back from a trip to SA Peninsulas and came back through Deni, Wagga and the Southern Highlands. Didn’t see your yard though. I thought I hadn’t been to Deni before but discovered I had many years ago. Great drone work at the Bunda Cliffs. Jeff
Awesome. Thanks Jeff. Our yard in on the main road out of town towards Wakool.
32.09 looks like a stick man climbing the cliffs yup Im nuts !!!!!!!!
Yes they're made out of steel.
Beaut! 👍
Awesome. Thanks
I love seeing Australia with you bunjie, thank you for taking us all along, stay safe brother!!!
Awesome. Thanks Bruce.
That's a shocker driving straight into the sun Johnno
I know hey. Go figure that one.
Thank you so much Johnno
Awesome. Thanks Martin
AWESOME...Thanks Johnno,I have recently discovered your channel which has also led me to 'the homeless trucky'. What a privilege to be able to travel across this great land with you guys. Appreciate the work you do. Thankyou
Awesome. Thanks Anne. It's great to have you along.
The best way to see Australia . Love the videos . Thank you for the effort from the Uk.
Awesome. Thanks Rich. It's great to have more people from the UK.
Another fantastic ride, beautiful country, stay safe and have a great day.
Awesome. Thanks Kim
You have super videos , hi level production ...Congratulations from Belgrade, Serbia.
Awesome. Thanks Alex. It's great to have you along from Belgrade.
Deepest sympathy for the loss of life in the accident Johno. Stay safe mate. That piece of music played over the drone footage on the coast was fantastic, love it mate.
Thanks. I'm glad you'd liked the music too.
A gourmet truckie!!! Love it!!
For sure. Thanks Rex
That barra looked so good, and I'll have to try those oysters at Ceduna one day for sure. What a glorious country. Pretty damn good, John. Thank you so much, you awesome truckies, who invite us along to enjoy the ride right across this beautiful continent. I am so grateful. May you have many, many more safe miles ahead of you.
I pay my respects to the truckies who lost their lives on this trip and my condolences to their families and to the whole trucking community who lost one of their own, who work so hard covering the kay's to try keep this country running. I dip my hat to all of you. 🧢👍🏽🇦🇺
Thanks heaps for all your kind words.
John Rabig does that particular run regularly
Very good
Great video again Johnno! Thanks mate. Healthy eating travel tip if you're interested. Pre trip buy all the ingredients you think you need for salads, ham, chicken as well... then at night time peel and slice them all up into a container ready for a grazing pack to have while you're driving along. Dinner time, I used to pull up and get out of the fridge individual or portioned steak, chops, sausages etc which the local butcher had vacuumed sealed for me, cut up some fresh salads, quick fry up on the portable gas stove, cut up tomorrows grazing pack....
Thanks again. I'm too lazy to cook or prepare anything hence the reason I buy my meals, ready to eat.
Thank you so much for the wonderful video and great content. I truly enjoy watching you travel across Australia. Watching on the big screen from Kentucky.
Oh very nice. It's great to have you along.
It's a very diverse and wonderful country we live in Johnno. Thanks for taking us along for the ride. Looking forward to the next part of the journey. Stay safe.👍
Thanks Brett. This was a long one this time.
👍
Mate every video u make u just inspire me to drive road train myself
Ha ha. Thanks. Come on out. We need more good operators.
Thanks for the ride. I'm in the U.S., but always wanted to go to Australia, never was able. At least I get to see some of it thanks to you. I watch a trucker here if he's driving he's streaming live called ride along. we have a few Australian's who watch. Safe travels Thanks again ----- Desert Rat
Awesome. Well it's great to have you along.
Another rippa Johno. Love watching them. Keep them coming. Thanks. 👍👍
Awesome. Thanks Bill. Stay tuned for part 2.

Thanks for giving up your time and showing us this great, great big country Johno we understand you get paid by the km, very humble of you.
Tony
Awesome. Thanks Tony
Always enjoy your videos Jono, but this one was particularly good. Great shots and a bit of history. Gotta love the Bunda cliffs. Fantastic. Thank you!
Awesome. Thanks Simon. Yes this one was a lot bigger and involved a lot of work.
The portrait of Winx, Chris Waller and Hugh Bowman was done by a very well respected equine artist formerly from Dubbo but now living in Dorrigo, Peter Mortimore - I know Peter very well as he was a client of my dad’s workshop until he moved to Dorrigo
Oh very nice. I'll be in Dubbo later today.
Hey Johnno awesome awesome awesome magnificent. Roll on part 2 .
Very nice. Thanks Bruce. It should be out on Sunday afternoon.
@@RoadTrainAdventures thanks Johnno

@@RoadTrainAdventures you’re welcome, brother. I’m always sorry to hear about a loss life.
Yes it's terrible but unfortunately that's a part of life.

Thanks Louis
Johno, them cows seem to have a mind of their own. Looks like they think they own the road.😂😂😂
You got that right Raymond. They're certainly not afraid of my big truck but if I were to get out of the truck they would probably run.
Great video Johnno ! Loved seeing the towns and commentary of the history along the way! Really great to see the changing landscape from the truck. Bunda cliffs look mesmerising and great drone footage! I wouldnt get too close to the edge though! Look forward to Part 2. Thank you!
Very nice. Thanks Jo. Yes we live in a great country.
Another great Vlog, you give excellent commentary, and those history notes about the towns you pass through are fantastic, I can see a secondary occupation as a tour driver/ tour guide to our o/s visitors,& eating on the road is hard to get value for money, great music selection too, love your work Johnno, cheers from Downunder ❤️🦘🦘🦘🇦🇺
Awesome. Thanks again for those kind words. If I don't make it as a truck driver then I'll certainly keep that in mind.
Thanks for taking the time to entertain us 👍
Awesome. Thanks Steve. It's my pleasure.
Great video, thanks mate
Thanks again Craig
I had lunch at that pub in Dunedoo a few weeks ago. A good feed!!

Awesome. Thanks for watching Andre.
You’ve traverse so much of this great land mate and it looks fantastic on film, I feel like pulling the plug and heading west
Oh sorry.. I'll slow down a bit. Ha ha. Yes come on over to the dark side.
@@RoadTrainAdventures can’t imagine too many running singles over there unless your doing oversize work.
Don't you have MC? I just assumed you did.
@@RoadTrainAdventures oh no, nocked it back twice. If I was over there maybe, but here there’s too many places built for horse and cart they expect a b double to get into.
I see. Well it's certainly not too late. The dark side awaits.
Fantastic work, thx a lot! :)
Awesome. Thanks Marca
Thank you Johno, wonderful video 👏👏

love your videos matey,,hello from ENGLAND
Oh very nice. It's great to have you along from England.

Maybe you could do a run somewhere.
Great video Johno 👍
Thanks Mark
Cheers buddy for helping me while away the afo with some great shots an commentary. Stay safe n travel well. The Ol' Fella Greg.🤎
Awesome. Thanks Greg
Love watching your vids Johnno. M from Perth and recently retired.
My wife and I will be touring the outback next year.
I would love to know the protocol when calling up a truckie on the UHF. How does one do this? Identify a truck? Identify myself yo the truck?
Also a video about the different types of trucks and what they are designed for such as twin steers, Pantechs. Centipedes etc.
Love your music too.
Keep it up.
Very nice. Thanks Richie. To call us or anyone else just call, 'copy in the...' and then describe the truck. If you see a company name like Lumbar's for example. Chippy in the Lumbar's. When we answer them say what you'd like to communicate.
You are like Ken,,, a machine, keep up the great video’s 👍safe travels mate
Thanks Lance. We have to help Ken get to 10,000 subs
Wow so impressive
Awesome. Thanks Jonathan
very good video my mate ❤👍 i will see more about on road-Train 🚚Adventures in future in Australia 🚚Greeting from Denmark

Hello,a beautiful long route
It sure was
New sub here, loved it!
Awesome. Thanks for that Stuart. It's great to have you along.
Great video mate, your videos are getting better and better. Loved the focus on Dunedoo. My Grand Father ran the Dunedoo freezing works way back in the 1930s and my Mum was born there in 1935. We visited the town just 3 weeks ago to have a look around. Great country town with good parking for heavy vehicles. Looking forward to part 2 of your trip.
Awesome. Thanks Peter
I would like you to video going south bound into Sydney city ,and or over bridge , would make awesome footage.
South over which bridge?
@@RoadTrainAdventures southbound, harbour bridge or even before going into harbour tunnel. Spectacular view.
Is the Harbour Tunnel the M8?
Quite intresting mate thumbs ups
Very nice. Thanks for watching
Great video Jonno, especially once you got west of port Augusta, I have never been out there.
Oh awesome. Thanks Robert
Love your videos as well as homeless videos you guys are amazing keeping Australia moving.
Ps a big thumbs up from Perth WA
I'll be back in Perth by next Tuesday I think. Yes The Homeless Truckie is awesome too.

Cool keep safe on the roads
I work as a Driver Trainer in Maddington trying to keep the future truck drivers safe and enjoy their truck driving adventures.
That's where I got my HR. Keen Bros I think it was.

Amazing. You do better than any TV program. Even dos Ken @The Homeless trucky. Was lucky to see his vid. Cant wait til part two. Then heading north to Darwin? Seems to be floding problems last week on the road to Darwin.
Thanks heaps. I wish I would go to Darwin. One day
G'day Johnno,
Thanks for taking us along again , was a nice run .
The fish & oysters looked pretty good.
You do better to get ya salad at the local fruit shop ,keep it in a Tupperware container ,
fresher cheaper ,so nice fruit.
Respect....!
Thanks Craig. I'm a bit lazy when it comes to preparing food. I just want to eat it, not prepare it.
Great video johno .😊
Awesome. Thanks Scott
JOHN'O. This vlog is next level , I don't know if ure going to be able to top it , ps keep doing what ure doing , garented the viewers abroad are falling out of there seats , wow young fella , next level is an understatement .😁👉👍✌️
Awesome. Thanks Andre
Geez I wouldn’t want to be driving round those cliffs at night 🫣
No. Imagine forgetting where you are and walking over the edge. You'll only do that once.
Great video , drone shots . You bought back memories of our road trip to Adelaide through them towns you travelled . I was planning on staying at Wilcannia years ago on a solo motorcycle trip , and i was telling a bloke at work before i left home . He said Wilcannia ? and i said yes , he then told me in depth about the place , and he told me to stay at SILVERTON HOTEL instead , so i took his advice ,
Safe travels
Awesome. Thanks Brett. You might have been OK staying in Wilcannia but who knows.
👍Thankyou and sincere best wishes for your channel johno, liked subscribed and very much enjoyed, thanks to you and Brad another Aussie truckie on TH-cam,I'm getting to share the heaven on earth, views of Australia, outstanding 10/10,good on yer from the UK.Trucking itsin the blood.🤟😊

Oh so you'll miss the Bunda Cliffs.
@@RoadTrainAdventures Not sure of the exact route just yet as i'm not planning the itinerary this time
OK

Very nice. Thank you very much for your kind donation.
Nice one Johnno. I'm on day 9 with the throat and snot thing. After day 4 it wasn't to bad.
Half the Toll drivers went home on sick leave with it, so all us subbies had to cover for then as usual.'
I stopped at the cliffs a few times back when I was in my Louisville (a while ago ) I'll be glad to get back on the fish.
Thanks heaps. I've still got a little cough.
Been through Dunn E Doo a lot Johno 😁
That name was hard for me to say correctly each time.
Your editing skill have stepped up a notch or 3... If it wasn't for cops like Geoff I would have jumped back in the cab
Ha ha. Yes that area is a mine field.
Johnno "down under" next you will be doing "getaway " love it keep it up
Ha ha. Thanks Brayden I'll need a bit more practice first.
Hi Jonno. First of all, my condolences to the families of the truck drivers, which is very sad news. The roads are unfortunately still as dangerous as ever. Thanks again for a great video. How many kilometers did you travel for this adventure, and how long? Thank you also for giving us a bit of history about the cities you pass through, this is very interesting for me who am in France and excellent to know your beautiful country. I hope your cold is getting better. 😉😉
Thanks Jerome. I think it was about 5000km all up. Which took four and a half days. I'll answer your email once I get up from resting.
@@RoadTrainAdventures Thank you and have a nice rest. No rush for the mail.
👍
Buy some fruit, orange's, banana's to supplement the oily meals, anyway good show, well done!?????
Thanks Rod. You're right I should buy more fruit.
good video, but when you say iron knob is just a hole in the ground , dont forget it was the beginning of australias steel industry and still being used today, also iron knob and whyalla is where the comedian billy connelly discovered the true australian culture, sadly the original iron knob pub burnt to the ground many years ago.
Oh that's a nice bit of history. I didn't do any research into the area so maybe I'll have to look into areas before talking about them next.
As you say the show must go on,as a trucker partner I feel for you all, rain hail snow wind sun you bloke have it all,we all know the famous saying ,get some lemon and hot water honey, instead of coffee, eat garlic with all food or on it own,if my partner comes home and smell like garlic,I know he being a bit sick,he hard to kiss smelling like a garlic paddock 😂,good video.
Thanks Annette. I normally don't take anything. Just press on.
Hey Mate, Love your content. Only been following for a few months. Drive Safe and if you ever stop overnight at the Cappi give us a holla. Show you the best spots for food in Newman. Pete
I'm on my way up to the same place on this video so I might take you up on that. Might be good for another video.
Are you going to be free this Sunday or Monday. That's when I'll be.
Haha Geoff has got quite a few of us from yunta
Not me and that's not without trying. I don't show down through his area. Just hold it flat. Ha ha
The best brekky and coffee I had last time from Queensland to WA was at Nevertire rural traders. Who’d a thought it?
Oh I might try to check them out.
Great video mate. I reckon those cows were north of Pretty Pine, could be wrong though. I haven’t been to Dunedoo for a few years but that parking bay is one of the better ones and there was a good little cafe over the road with a decent shower last time I was there. Quiet parking bays are few and far between once you leave Newcastle.
You're close. Those cows were between Jerilderie and Urana on the way to Wagga.. I'm dying the same run as this video right now so I went to that pub for the same meal again. Very nice.
When are you going to make a video again?
@@RoadTrainAdventuresI did make a short one the other day about the truck engine to keep in the loop. It’s a lot of work making videos haha. It must take you hours with all that editing. I watched your video near Yalata where Slim left us, I think just about everyone knew him. As for Jeffrey, last time I heard he was at Yunta but I haven’t been that way for a couple of years. Looking forward to part 2 of the Hedland run.
I just watched your video. Wow it's been a while.
The accident was bad rip to the familes involved in I just had some oyster from Cowell I love oyster good with wolchter sauce
Yeah the old oysters are nice. I love any seafood.
Unlucky goat, never heard of any of them being collected around the broken hill
No how true Brian. They are pretty smart to run away from the road but not this time.
Very enjoyable. Not a bad job getting paid to see all that. I definitely think I would have enjoyed the trucking lifestyle. Too bloody old now. Should have got into it 20 years ago. I have only been to Willcania once. Something like 20 years ago. I got the same spiel then about don't stop. Or not to let anything out of your sight. I don't seem to remember there being as much there then. I remember the old post office by a servo. The Church. The Pub. But can't really place much else. Memory fading. Old age doesn't do you much good.
Thanks Dave. Yes it's great seeing things and places you've been to in the past.
