Amazing! Thank you for sharing this video. I wanted to do this several years ago to visit some of the outback communities in a caravan but never did. I will tune in on your channel regularly to see the sites. Thank you. Happy safe touring! Greetings from Madang, Papua New Guinea!
I liked the video.. solar is a good and inexpensive investment to add considering the grand scale of things you've invested in for travel and/or even a backup generator... highly recommend. Thank you for the tour.
As I watch at your wonderful video tour of your adventures, I can see my covered caravan in the driveway. I will put away your travel experiences for the time when I can actually get the caravan out of the driveway and into outback Australia. Thanks for the inspiration and ideas!
Awesome as guys .. ❤ it up that way & been going there for 6 years & been thought that country with my Landcrusier & dirt bike .. great feeds at The pubs there 🇦🇺👍🍻
The bane of the Outback. Bloody flies! Paul, your continuously saluting reminded me of my time as a young soldier on outback exercises during the warmer months. The flies were so bad at times, when we were resting in the scrub, that during meal times, you couldn't see the food because of the Bloody flies! Another great episode guys. Thank you!
Great episode as usual you two. I hope you realise that you are providing interest and motivation for all of us to bite the bullet and get out there and see this beautiful, big country. The birdsvilee track is on the bucket list. Looking forward to the next vid.👌🙏📸
Hey Paul & Wenda, absolutely loved this one! The journey through Outback SA had us hooked. Farina’s crumbling ruins and that working bakery are such gems, and it’s inspiring to see the small communities working hard to bring life back to these unique spots. The ochre pit was incredible too - what a special place for the local Aboriginal culture. And that storm! Just shows you how unpredictable the outback can be. Looking forward to seeing more of this adventure! Safe travels, and see you next week. Corrie and Lyn ❤️
Wow. I’m so excited to watch this trip. It is giving me ideas for when my husband and I start our road trip which is getting closer and closer. Safe travels to you both. ❤
Question? Seeing you both travelling through a lot of different location , have you ever encountered snakes around your caravan or vehicle? That would be my one worry as we are travelling with small dogs ! Seen some people find snakes in their engines. Scary stuff. What are your thoughts. Watch your videos everyday. Love your work Enjoy your travels. Cheers Connie and Hugh
@@connieleidl836 thank you Connie and Hugh. We have never had an issue with snakes. We have seen a few on the road but never been troubled by them when camping. Some area are worse than others so just be mindful. We were told we would see heaps on the Birdsville track but only saw 2. It’s a bit like sharks and crocs, respect them and you’re halfway there 😉 Cheers Paul and Wenda
Just looked up Leigh Creek real estate for sale. Insane prices. Beyond insane. A dead town, still dying more and still prices are completely out of reach for the average family. $500K for a vacant city lot. $1million for a tiny bungalow. Ridiculous.
We took the back road to Leigh creek, the drive was spectacular. Loved Beltana the community should be very proud.
We loved our time at Beltana probably the highlight of that leg of the trip 👌

I had relatives at Mt Pleasant, beautiful and under-valued part of the country I think. Wraps are our go to lunches in the middle of nowhere too 😊
