@@tomtroler I usually use my android phone for gps navigation and anything else(gaming, s-media posting, etc), like I said, this phone is just for social media detoxing, and of course as emergency phone (If your main phone's not enough battery) before you buy this phone, you need to think twice 🙆♀️

Hey 👋 Thanks! Yep it was normally good (like sony walkman from 2013 with sony‘s original earbuds) but you cannot change the bass option (so you cannot add more bass or another music setting)

Hi. I would like to know if the keyboard input for typing works the same as the Nokia 1100 or other old phones with physical keyboard (multi-taping I think is called). Like, to type "Hello", would you have to press 4 twice to select the letter H, 3 twice to select the letter E and so on?

It has. I used to use this phone with a bluetooth device and it worked when I tried to answer (without opening it’s screen)
The browser is very nostalgic. It looks like year 2013 .
Surfing TH-cam, seen your video, have comment: You should cover the pining suject, togeling back an forth between browser windows, that online human check stuff, tricky. Also the camera works great with a large $5.00 magnifine glass for close ups, also so people can see what your doing.
I'm not a professional nor an influencer. So I just do such videos because I find it would be helpful for people, because I may be couldn't find any videos of them.
But thank you for your feedback, I'll be more careful in the future. I guess I had my P30 lite as my camera :) So if I really want to do such videos I could may be listen your advice and take notes :D
The browser itself used in Nokia is really tricky, you can use this JavaScript based system just like you want. But I really don't know anymore... I had an force firmware upgrade and after that I couldn't root and remove bloats on my feature phone anymore... I don't prefer you to use KaiOS phone if you are a tech nerd (and you want to rice your KaiOS)

Hi, nice vid. About texting I´d like to know if all texts from the same person is put into files like on a smartphone? For instance if you texted someone a month ago and you want to read it again will you have to scroll through texts from everyone the past month or just the texts from that particular person? :D
Hi, thank you for the feedback. So there's no need to scroll down/up (in WhatsApp) to find older chats you hadn't checked for a while. You can just search the name of the person to find your chat. And about the chat history, I really don't have the phone for now (so the update did come and I don't have any idea, maybe it came with the search option in the chat history) but I tested it while I got this phone in it's first time and you cannot search the chat history in the chat.
@@kyuubisa Thanks for responding but I don't use Whatsapp at all it's not as common where I live. I was referring to oldfashioned regular texting? :D
I do use Facebooks messenger the most and as far as I know it's now avaliable for KaiOS, so that is good.
@@kyuubisa am also interested in knowing if the phone groups texts based on the recipient, because unlike modern smartphones, SMS in old feature phones could only be arranged in chronological order.
and I believe @Tina F was referring to SMS and not social media apps like FB Messenger, Whatsapp, etc.

Is RAM memory clean-up required often?
Not necessarily, but sometimes the apps cannot be closed so you have to clean the memory everytime you open these apps.

Actually yes but be careful this phone has 3 variants:
-> 2720 Flip V 4G (UK version)
-> 2720 Flip 4G (new designed KaiOSed version)
-> 2720 Flip (Old, may be with Symbian OS and doesn't include all of those WiFi stuff etc...)

it doesn't have spotify [yet] they are still trying to make it but I guess we need more than 1 year to get this app xd so if you want to stream music on spotify with this phone, then you better don't :')

don't buy this or any KaiOS phone, they discontinued this again. (ahem ahem microsoft ahem ahem)
you can buy keitai phones or "duoqin f21 pro /f22 pro" or "lg d486" they are pretty good and more functional. And they let you configure them.
How to make a fast calling in this advice?
Its like other phones, you press long any dial number button and it just lands you to fast calling menu
Does this suppport sd ca4d and mp3? And can you use flash as flashlight?
Yes, it has a sdcard support up to 128gb and you can play mp3 files. And the flashlight you can enable from while pressing up arrow button when you are on the homescreen.

Direkt Türkce cevap vereyim; Türkiye'ye KaiOS maalesef gelmedi. Istanbulda bir telefon bayiisinde telefonumun aynisindan görmüstüm, ama maalesef ki o sadece "gösteris" icin oradaymis. (calismiyor veya satilik degil). Bu telefonlar 3-4 senedir aramizda, ve halen Türkiye'ye gelmedi. Yüksek ihtimalle de gelmez.

Only if you root the device. But I cannot make a video for that because i forced a firmware update and now i cannot root the device anymore lol

Meinen Sie die Shortcut-Pfeil-Tasten? Soweit ich weiß habe ich nicht solche Einstellung gefunden. Bei mir war so: Rechts ist Kontakte, Links is (ACHSOO jetzt habe ich gecheckt) nein das kann man leider nicht (Sie meinen die zwei shortcuts neben menu, oder?)
@@kyuubisa Richtig ! Da wo eben Hinweise und Kamera steht.. Hab auch nix gefunden und muss leider sagen, dass dies eine sehr schwache Leistung von Nokia ist !
@@AtotheK. Ja leider. Die sind ja wie genannt “Dumbphones”. Die haben nicht so viele Features aber trotz aller Ding kann vieles tun (hab schon gezeigt aber das Handy habe ich nicht mehr, deswegen da kommt kein 2. Video bzw 3.) Ich werde mir auf jeden Fall neues Nokiahandy holen und noch mal versuchen. Ich habe die manuelle Update schon gekriegt aber da kann man leider keine Modifikationen wie zb wie Sie gesagt haben: Kamera/Kontakte Button. Dafür habe ich auf jeden Fall eine Lösung aber kein Handy mehr hahah :,)

Hi I noticed that the Doro 7080 flip phone has both Whatsapp calling and video operation built into it. Since this Nokia 2720 flip phone has been around for 2 years, do you know if the video and calling operation has now been included yet? Secondly is there an email operation as well included yet?
Email does work but whatsapp call function doesnt work i guess we need to wait because I already wrote so many email to nokia services but they said “some countries get this function too later and it already has been updated but e.g germany doesnt has this AND some build numbers don’t include the update
You have to check your build number before you wait for the update. Mine doesn’t include in those updateable build numbers and yes. Still no call function init
@@kyuubisa That's very helpful. I am in the UK so I will check this before I make a decision. The Doro 7080 looks a decent flip phone, but I prefer the style of the Nokia 2720.

You can send a text photo but you cannot take a picture from any A4 text a distance of 5 meters or more. But they are visible and readable.

Hello, I guess not because it doesn’t have Uber app inside. It's just an applet app based system and it does not have enough space inside (ram, os, so generally it is too tiny to do multitask stuff). And you can check the app list from bananahackers/kaios app store. They have indeed the app list but like I said it doesn’t have Uber inside

Hello, I am afraid to tell you this but I think you got scammed. Be always careful they already have the older modell (symbian version or s series) and even did mention the 4g (which is scam, because I bet they ain't lte wtf, sorry) they may be did mention this actually is an older version of this phone "the photo is actually the newest version of this but we deliver the older one. blah blah."
I met such people on eBay and this situation is really frustrating. I hope you didn't pay for this about 100 bucks because okay they indeed a bit expensive but not the 2009 phone duh.
I hope you get your money back, and next time please be careful what you want to buy and check it maybe a 1000 times before you buy.

I bought the #Nokia 2720 flip. Nothing in this advertisement is there. Turns out we are being sold of the older models. Same exact look but no apps, no kai store and worse, no wifi connectivity. I've been duped!

I didn't want WiFi or KaiOS, so I feel duped. I wanted a dumb phone so that I couldn't be tracked. KaiOS was bought by Google, I read.

You're right. That pre-installed game wasn't good at that time. And I think I didn't cleaned the memory so that's why it's performance was just like that lol
Maybe the video has been damaged while it's render time. I'll try it later and I was too busy so I couldn't make another video for this. But I'll give a try after this vacation and give you more information :)

nope, but before while i didn't force upgrade I was developing an webapp for KaiOS but unfortunely I cannot use web development kit stuff on my 2.5.2.2 KaiOS phone anymore.

so may be you were scammed so I guess my answer is a bit late but please be careful next time. Those new feature phones are called as 4G, if you want to buy e.g. Nokia 6300 but newest with WiFi etc.. You have to search for "Nokia 6300 4G"

@@egemen5017 o kadarini maalesef bilmiyorum. Bizim burada bir tane operatör [turkcell, vodafone gibi] bu telefonla tarife satin alabilme secenegi sundu, ben de o sirada almis bulundum. Update 2.5.2.2 halen gelmedi. Voice-call [Whatsapp sesli arama] halen yapilamiyor.

No, but it has Boomplay (like Spotify but it doesn't include many songs)
what about snapchat does that work?
Snapchat is not on KaiOS yet, but I think you also cannot install it and use it because of the camera position (this phone has only one camera on it's back) I don't have my phone for now (I'm on a vacation and I forgot to take my Nokia phone, I thought I didn't need to make a detox, etc.) and I think the update has been made on most KaiOS phones. I'll look at it in 2 weeks and make a new video about it.
