Can you please post a pt.2 of what it sounds like, i see that you lost the media LOL, i want to hear the longtube headers & x pipe to see if its any good.
A tip on loosening those bolts - tighten 1/8th turn before cracking them loose. I know, counterintuitive, but it releases the threads and keeps you from breaking any bolts.
Looking forward to the rest of this. Can't wait to see your overall thoughts on the Speed Engineering product and hear what you thought of the install. I'll be doing mine myself as well.

How long ago did you order those headers? Reason I’m asking is speed engineering discontinued that long style header and went to a smaller mid length header which a lot of people don’t like now
I agree I just purchased the new style headers!!!! What a pain to install them way different from any of this videos I’ve seen on here. If I would of known they went differently I’d never purchased them
Unfortunately I lost the media from that install. Funny thing, I've installed a dozen of these systems since this video just haven't recorded it. My apologies!
I'm still alive, lost the video to PT2. I have been waiting on another LS3 car to come in the garage with the same mufflers to finish this comparison. I do have on lined up for February finally.
Most detailed c6 GS header video I’ve watched. Thank you sir! Installing mine this weekend
Much appreciated bro! Good luck with your install.
Perfect music for header install. I will be putting on my pfadt tri y headers and midpipe on my gs this summer.
Right on! Good luck with your installation.
nice to see another 2013 IO C6
Looking forward for pt2

Excellent tip, heat also helps.
Finally, someone wearing safety glasses. :)
No anti-seize on the new header bolts???

Looks great, very informative and nicely edited.
Thank you Terry vetteharley man
1 just bout a c6 and I got speed engineering 1 7/8 headers with X pipe do you think this will be loud with stock mufflers?
It will be louder but nothing crazy.
Off topic but you use a low car jack or a regular one? I’m about to get a GS and I want to know if my current jack is fine
I use a low profile jack man.
Great video man! Do you have the part number for the gaskets, ARP bolts and 02 extension harness ? Please & thanks !

How'd they fit overall? I'm looking at the 2" set from them for my 2012 GS.
Great fit overall. Didn’t have to modify anything.
I’m hooked (pun intended :), but I can’t find Part 2?
Part 2 coming soon bro!

Interesting, this was purchased March 22’

Did these hook up to the stock mufflers? I’m trying to install on my GS now and can’t get the slip joints to line up with the mufflers
Yes these lined right up with the stock over the axle pipes. The kit came with mid pipes for GS, ZO6, or base.
@@smokingasphalt8050 hmm, and you tightened the headers up and then worked your way back and hooked up the mufflers last correct?
@@thiggtrouble that is correct
Great video! 👌👌
Thanks bro!!
Does the Xpipe connect well to stock NPP mufflers?
Yes, it did no problem.
Was this a dry sump car?
No, this was a wet sump automatic.
How was the fitment ?
Very good on this GS, no complaints!
Where is part two
Looks great, my only complaint is you have uploaded sound clips :(
Yes sir! I’ll have a before and after sound clip in part 2🤙🏼
rip part 2 😭
What happened?.no part 2.
Unfortunately I lost the media from that install. Funny thing, I've installed a dozen of these systems since this video just haven't recorded it. My apologies!
I guess he never finished the install….
Haha, yeah that GS is still on jack stands in my garage…🤙🏼 seriously I need to complete part 2. Since then I’ve done quite a few C6 builds. Sorry.
