Congrats on the upgrade. I did my LT headers, hi-flo cats and bi-mode exhaust on my 07 years ago when I used to race. I'll never go back. Just a note to other modders when doing sound comparisons, ALWAYS do you before and after samples in the exact same location and position. It's misleading to do one test in an open field and the comparison backed against a wall etc. If the environment is different you're not running a proper test. Other than that, I appreciate all the vids people post up to help others.
I never got to see my stock numbers on the dyno but my car with 1 7/8 SE headers made 413/412 after tune. Car used to run 12.4-12.5 stock and it now goes 11.80s @ 121. Seat of the pants difference for sure.
Just did mine tonight and the fitment was great. Taking off the dry sump lines on the passenger side and dropping the rear sway bar makes it a lot easier.
@6.2stitch thanks for replying bro..... I own a 20 mustang gt stock exhaust....it sounds pretty nice how much louder is a c6 with a muffler delete , if u have heard any stock from a close by
@@StitchCruzinI've got a set of Corsa Sport mufflers with the 4.5" tips so drone from the mufflers shouldn't be an issue. How much more volume is there in the cabin at cruising speeds with long tube headers?
How’s the fitment bro I’ve got a C6 GS too and debating which headers to go with these,Texas speed or lg. I run speed engineering on my cammed Tahoe and have had no problems. But for the c6 folks say the design changed and your vid is really recent so how was your honest experience with the headers and xpipe
It wasn’t a direct bolt on I took it to the muffler shop a week later because I was having clearance issue and it’s a lot better so I do recommend them but I would getting the xpipe section welded up
@@jelenekoutdoors9023 yea that’s what I was debating about but I’m going with speed engineering I run their headers and ypipe on my cammed Tahoe and have no complaints either so yea speed engineering it is and can’t beat the price. Do you have a auto or manual
@@StitchCruzin Just like high blood pressure, it could indicate a clog. Your oil may not be circulating as it should. May be a problem with the filter or sludge.
Late here but I noticed this too. Hope you figured it out. Mine goes up to 60 when just started and driving but comes down to maybe 45-50 under really heavy throttle when warm.

Headers best mod you can do to LS motors. Your oil pressure pinned to max PSI has me worried though

Had to smack things around. I felt that. I also have speed engineering headers in my C7 and it was a struggle lol
once you get it tuned it will be night and day, Im not even sure how much hp is gained from headers if it is not tuned

Does the wrap of your headers nelify your warranty? I know if you do that to KOOKS Headers you warranty will be voided. Check your warranty.

did you put them on under jackstands or did you use a lift?
I put the car on ramps on the rear on jacks on the front gave me an okay amount of space
