    Thanks Pastor Skip. In your describing David's awareness of his sin, I was reminded of something A.W. Tozer said. He said one of the signs that you're growing closer to God is that you become more sensitive and conscious of your sin. As you said, with all the growing chaos around us it helps to constantly be reminded that God is sovereign. God bless.

    At minute 41, this is the reason why it is unbiblical to deduct your giving on your taxes. By doing so you have eliminated the worship aspect of giving because it costs you nothing.

    Love how he spends more time explaining what a threshing floor is than the verse where God kills 70,000 people. God had a right to be angry though, after David did exactly what God incited him to do…

    It's Skip's early discussion of the sovereignty of God that makes the term "permissive will" a man made suggestion. There is no such thing. Everything that has ever happened on the earth is God's will. Both bad and good. Or, He is not God fully sovereign over all things.
