I was called back recently as well. I have never been a good Christian. I have struggled with my faith.
God sees through my flaws and keeps calling for me. For once in my life I am trying to listen. One day at a time I am trying to do better by his example.

Religion kills Christianity. Pls don't consider this a religion. Only thing that matters in all of life is that 'you believe a man named Jesus came here over 2000 years ago and died for all of our sins, past, present, and future. Then, he rose again 3 days later.' That's it.

This message is very timely and probably the best one I’ve ever heard concerning Israel. I have seeded it all over X in the comment sections of both antisemites and those concerned about antisemitism. Pray with me that it reaches those who claim the Name that are falling prey to the tide of propaganda and antisemitism we are witnessing.
May God use it to reach far and wide.

Sounds like you were hearing someone teach from the king James Bible. Olde English.
Check out "2001 LXX Greek Septuagint" online only Bible. If you've ever read the prophecies Jesus quotes and fulfilled in the Gospels, then went to the old testament, well sometimes it is different. A good LXX Greek Septuagint reads the same. It's what the early church read. And in the eastern church they kept it from the 1st century.
If you go the the above online Bible, then go to the info bar and go "about" section, then scroll down to "why the Greek Septuagint" click on it and read it. It explains the history of modern Bible translations. I guarantee you'll know more than 99% of pastors, priests in America.
This website treats you like an adult in your journey of faith with Jesus. God bless.

Hello John! I have been listening to your WP videos for several years and have really enjoyed them. All due respect though, I have to respectfully disagree with your viewpoint in this video clip, and I truly think you need to dig into this subject more. As a Pastor, I understand as a Pastor you get a lot of messages like this all the time on all kinds of subjects, so please don’t take this as some mindless attack on you personally. Because it’s not meant that way. In this video I think your first mistake is believing modern day Judaism is somehow the religion of the Israelites/Hebrews of the Bible. This is false. Modern day Judaism doesn’t follow the teachings of the Bible, rather the teachings of the Babylonian Talmud which is opposed to what the Bible teaches. You can look it up yourself, but the Babylonian Talmud and Judaism is full of things that you as a Christian should hate.
Second, in this video clip you reference back to the Abrahamic Covenant in Genesis chapter 17. I’d like to challenge you on whether or not the modern-day Jews are Israel. Because if they are, they do not fit the promises given in Genesis chapter 17. As example of this, please look at verse 2 where it says:
“that I may make my covenant between me and you, and may multiply you greatly.”
This is a promise of a large population of people, only compared to the stars of heaven (Genesis 22:17), sand of the sea (Hosea 1:10), or dust of the earth (Genesis 13:16). Ask yourself has the Jews ever had a population of people like this? The answer is no, they have only been very small in number and are very good at keeping records of those numbers. By your own admission you said, “look at Israel (State of Israel) it's a drop in the bucket when it comes to population of the world.” This should make you reexamine this statement. Another example of the promises given to Abraham and his offspring, please look at verse 5 where it says:
“No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham, for I have made you the father of a multitude of nations.”
Ask yourself has the “Jews” of today ever been a multitude of nations? The answer is no. The modern-day people we call Jews have never been a multitude of nations. In verse 6 also says this multitude of nations would have a multitude of kings. The Jews have also not done this. These are only a few of many examples of how they do not fit the Biblical fingerprints (so to speak) of who true Israel is today. So, please take the time to look into all the promises of Israel and ask yourself who fits these identification marks today. If you would like some resources on this subject I would be happy to provide you with some recommendations. In Christian love!

    • @ChristianAmericaMinistries
      @ChristianAmericaMinistries 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

On another note. You said, “I'll be an ally of Israel because I think to actually not be an ally of Israel is to be against God.” I assume you are referring to the modern-day state of Israel and the Jewish people, which are opposed to Christianity, hate Jesus (like you said), hate you and your children (like you said), and hate God’s morality. Should you defend and ally yourself with wickedness? I’ll leave you with these Scriptures below for you to consider.
“But Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him and said to King Jehoshaphat, “Should you help the wicked and love those who hate the LORD? Because of this, wrath has gone out against you from the LORD.” 2 Chronicles 19:2
“O you who love the LORD, hate evil! He preserves the lives of his saints; he delivers them from the hand of the wicked.” Psalm 97:10
The fear of the LORD is hatred of evil. Pride and arrogance and the way of evil and perverted speech I hate. Proverbs 8:13

John! Brother, are you just giving occasional sermons now? Or has our good and gracious God in heaven truly as pastoring to your plate?? Either way, very cool and great to hear some sermons by you! Praise God!

"O ye Gentiles, have ye remembered the Jews, mine ancient covenant people? Nay; but ye have cursed them, and have hated them, and have not sought to recover them. But behold, I will return all these things upon your own heads; for I the Lord have not forgotten my people."
    - 2 Nephi 29:5
"And I will remember the covenant which I have made with my people; and I have covenanted with them that I would gather them together in mine own due time, that I would give unto them again the land of their fathers for their inheritance, which is the land of Jerusalem, which is the promised land unto them forever, saith the Father."

Wonderful. Read the Bible and teach what it says. Too many churches now don't do this.

Man, I want to go to your church. Rome, GA is just so far away from where I live on the other side of the state(practically). Well, if you’re hiring and will pay for relocation, let me know! 😅

John. You love your wife so much. From what I understand of the Bible. Our marriages do not continue in Heaven. I want to be excited to meet Jesus and go to Heaven but what about our wives?

Hey there. I’ve watched a lot of your content about guns and such, of which I’m appreciative. I have also heard some of your content on your podcasts, examining some cultural and counter-cultural topics. I agree with a lot of the things you have said.
You seem like a decently humble guy, I wanted to have a conversation with you concerning the reformed approach to the salvation of a believer. We agree that a believer is eternally secure, there being but one disagreement, the perseverance of the saints. The Bible teaches that salvation is of the spirit, not the flesh. Salvation is of the inward man, not the outward. The moment man believes he saved and sealed unto the day of redemption. The redemption of what? The redemption of his body, as it is not saved yet. When we sin, do we sin in spirit or in flesh? Obviously our flesh. Therefore, if our flesh is not saved (and it isn’t, flesh and blood shall not inherit the kingdom of God), then there is not necessarily a guarantee in a life reformation.
Here’s why this important, if good works are guaranteed for a saved believer, an equal sign is slapped between faith and works. “If you have the faith you WILL have the works.” This is a serious problem. If I ask someone with this belief, “hey, what if they don’t have the works?” They would unfortunately, likely say “they didn’t have the faith.” That person is fruit checking, he is necessitating works for faith… If you affirm, at face value, a faith based salvation - then by your definition, works being necessitated for “true faith,” works would be required for salvation.
This is not the gospel that the Bible teaches. I hope we can discuss a couple verses regarding this, in a spirit of meekness and charity, not arguing or anything but just discussing the scripture.

The actual center of the world is where Jesus Christ was crucified on that cross.
