I love the Old Testament and think it is vital for Christian’s to learn it in order to understand the New Testament better. If God didn’t want us to know it, He wouldn’t have given it to us. Thank you God so much! And I wish I could attend Pastor Skip’s church. Thank you Pastor for teaching us more to know God’s Word.

I just want to say thank you for breaking down the word. I stumbled ( probably God's direction) across this channel as I started fasting and praying. I started with the book of Samuel now I am here. I believe God brought me hear to listen and understand the word. Blessings to all.

We are a few months from an election that will go down in history.
I can’t seem to study this time period in the Bible, enough.
We must pray according to 2 Chronicles 7:14.
    We need a revival.

Divided marriage, brought heart, divided kingdom!!! So well describing this book and what means to not be devoted, and how the division starts instead of keeping moral and as ONE! Thank you, Pastor Skip, for your wise conclusions and analysis of God's word, always!

Happen to stumble upon this channel while I was searching for studies on the book of Ezekiel, i found a great video from the 30k series btw.
This is my second day in a row, this is my 2nd video and will be my new daily.
The focus on eschatology really resonates with me and what I want to learn about.
It has really awakened a fire in me, to dive into the Bible, like I've never had before.
Thank you guys for everything you do

Thanking God for Pastor Skip. Whenever I wanted to know deeper about a certain chapter in the Bible, I would always go this Pastor Skip’s Expound and watch or listen. Truly Hodbhas gifted Pastor Skip with knowledge and wisdom in representing The Word of God. Always learning, always clarifying and giving encouragement that what I know and have read is what what The Scripture is imparting to me. Massive Blessings from Narrogin, Westerb Australia 🙏🙏🙏🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

Thanks Pastor Skip. With regard to your introductory remarks about a nation that pushes God out of the culture is doomed, that should set off alarm bells for citizens across this country. We're seeing the direct consequences of it right now. It seems to be a general principle in the universe that whatever or whoever comes closer to God becomes more beautiful and prosperous while whatever or whoever moves away from God becomes more ugly and rots. Unfortunately, I think we're moving further away and the "rot" is becoming more evident everyday. Dismiss God from your mind and nothing is sacred - not even human life. We can't expect God to bless America if we turn our back on Him and disobey His commandments. It's as simple as that. The further from God we go, the closer to hell we get.

In the King's instance, they shopped for the most beautiful woman in Israel, but David suffered from low testarone. Had he been strong he would have consummated a marriage. The woman was not a "bed warmer".. but a test of David's strength (which he failed).

Skip speaking on the American 🇺🇸 awe for the English 👑 made me think of the movie 🎥 “Unforgiven” and “English Bob” who tried to sum up that awe:
English Bob : [discussing assassination of Pres. Garfield] Well there's a dignity to royalty. A majesty that precludes the likelihood of assassination. If you were to point a pistol at a king or a queen your hands would shakes as though palsied.
Barber : Oh I wouldn't point no pistol at nobody sir.
English Bob : Well that's a wise policy... But if you did. I can assure you, if you did, that the sight of royalty would cause you to dismiss all thoughts of bloodshed and you would stand... how shall I put it? In awe. Now, a president... well I mean.…..

Thank you for your bible study videos. The insight and depth is wonderful. One question though - you indicated in this discourse that David had not told anyone other than Bathsheba that Solomon would be king after him. But 1 Chronicles 28:5-8 seems to indicate that David told the people of Israel that Solomon should be king. Have I misunderstood that section?

Why are you calling it "Series 11?" Have you catalogued sermons into series numbers? I don't see series numbers anywhere else.

I appreciate your teaching and find it sparks questions that have me searching scriptures for answers.
But, your opening to the audience about leaving if they don't want to sit for an hour was not what I would expect from a pastor. I wonder if you considered anyone that has a medical problem that might have to leave , the harried mother/father that wanted to stay the hour but could only dedicate 45 mins bc of other commitments. I say this in love, people have so many reasons for having to leave. The way this was handled left every person feeling they could not leave for any reason bc now they are pegged as noncommittal. Love does not do this. I hope that this is not the standard approach.
