I really appreciate that the pacing of this isnt breakneck speed! And the inclusion of things that didn't make your deck list but that might be interesting if we want to go a different route is also very nice, super excited to build my own version of this deck!

Worth mentioning for EDH - the combat trick aspect can also be utilized when opponents are attacking each other. This can benefit greatly in situations where there is an arch enemy or for political favors.

There are a lot of budget token generators that can slot in here.
creatures: Whispering Wizard; Ethereal Investigator; Minn, Wily Illusionist
enchantments: Ominous Seas, Skywise Teachings, Thopter Spy Network
There are also several spells that can create some tokens as well:
Stolen by the Fae, Occult Epiphany, Talrand's Invocation, Access Denied, Haunting Imitation, Theoretical Duplication

Since we are geared towards combat & attacking, also worth mentioning (although it's expensive mana-wise): Moonsilver Spear

Awesome suggestions. There are indeed a lot of new mono-blue token generators that have come out even since Strixhaven (though I know some you mentioned are older as well).
I especially like Occult Epiphany as a suggestion here, since it makes tokens AND helps you fill your graveyard with instants/sorceries.

Nice list. Chart a course is not an instant though.

Oops, I messed that one up. Thanks for catching that. I've swapped it out for Careful Consideration for now.

Have you tried Shadowspear? Gives one creature lifelink and trample, and shuts off hexproof and indestructible

Have you thought about including cheap madness cantrips like Obsessive Search or Nagging Thoughts or are they too unreliable?
Snap, Pieces of the Puzzle and quiet speculation might be all worth a thought.
The first is a flexible tool, that also protects an active Octavia for “free”.
The last two enable Octavia while simultaneously providing card advantage.

Thanks again for the suggestions! I added Springjack Pasture right away after you mentioned it, since it's such an easy (and effective) include in the deck. The madness cards are an interesting suggestion. There are 16 cards in the deck right now which have you discard cards, so that might be enough to turn on Obsessive Search or Nagging Thoughts.

@@thecommandersbeacon1158 on second thought, Westvale Abbey is a nice way to add a bit of redundancy.
