This pop up camper remodel took 2 weeks to complete and I am in love with the way it turned out! I cannot wait for all of our upcoming adventures! Where should we go first?
Looks so much better. I remember when all the dark tones were supposed to look sophisticated and “rich,” but always thought they just looked dark and dreary.
We have a 97 Jayco. Bought it a couple of years ago an didn't get out in it last year. I want to get it remodeled and used alot this summer. Thanks for doing this!
This is very cute! We have a 1977 Coleman...all original..the tangerine orange! 😂 We have been thinking of doing something similar but its is way cooler!! ❤
@@atozoe8767 I live in Ontario Canada right across from Detroit Michigan and for some reason our province is the nly one in Canada where were on total lockdown due to covid.. Its annoying as there is no reason they cant open camping or outdoor sports But yet here we are lol So I have been able to do a few things. I was able to build a few storage racks and put a sealer on the roof. As well as 4 inch tubes to hold the extras for the poles.. Can I rent your mother to sew our covers..lol Neither myself or my gf can sew.. And im going to re do the floors but like i said every store is closed to the public and I wont just order it online. Thank you for asking though
Sorry I am just now seeing this. I just got the contact paper from my local Walmart. I used a heat guy on the edges to help it lay down into the crevices.
It looks amazing, very well done. We bought a pop up camper in 2018 as a wedding present to ourselves.. & have had so much fun camping & traveling. I have been thinking of a little restoration but didn’t want to spend too much money.. your video has inspired me. I got it at Joanns where they have the large rolls of textile material. Unfortunately I don't remember the name of the color though. When I go back to the store I will take a look and see if I can find it for you though.
If you use a heat gun or hair dryer on the hottest setting it will help it lay down on the edges so much easier. It really was much easier to do than I expected.
May I ask what did you put between the cushions and the fabric to make the staples stick? I was going to ATTEMPT to learn to sew some cushions but this seems a lot easier for me 😅 Also is there any specific paint that’s supposed to be used for the ceilings? We have some discoloration so I was looking into painting it or covering it some how
I used a brad nailer and attached a thin piece of wood to the hard back of the original cushion. Then I was able to staple the fabric to that piece of wood. The wood I purchased was approx 1/4" thick and was white. Sorry I don't remember the name of the wood but I hope this helps!
They were in decent shape so I just vacuumed them. Since I was adding a cover to the dinette seats and a new mattress pad on top of the existing one I wasn't too worried about getting them cleaned more than that.

I actually used epoxy and refinished the table. If you search StoneCoat countertops on TH-cam they have a lot of videos.
What flooring did you use?
Did you use a specific kind of paint I was wondering if the paint held up I’m getting ready to do this and I’m just worried that the paint will peel
If you use the Valspar Bonding Primer before you paint it will hold up without any problems. I love their product and have used it for years!

Did you order your counter tops contact paper?
Yes the countertops are covered with contact paper. I was surprised how great it looked and it is holding up so nicely!

Ours didn't come with a bathroom. Most of the places we camp will have facilities to use so I wasn't too worried about it.
