When you interview one of the most talented and most knowledgeable person in the world .. that conversion looks so mint! Like the factory shoehorned everything in there! Wish I could come see it in person and discuss a engine swap I need
@@buggerlugz6753 What are you talking about? They lost their turbo but they've added a Garrett "Safe-t overtaking device"! (Only a fool doesn't watch to the end of the episode)
Some would say that is sacrilege but I would say that's the best swap for the Aston because the looks are already dynamite but the Aston V8 just isnt that quick...great job 💪🏽👍🏼
Less of the "we" starky by the looks of it you struggle to hold a camera 😂, all joking aside top work. I'd love to see more of Craig's builds such a talented and knowledgeable man
It's kind of strange how I enjoy that sound coming out of a Corvette, but coming out of an Aston...not so much haha! It needs an 8-to-1 header for that exotic sound! Very impressive swap nontheless! Craig's work is impressive, the little touches that make it seem almost OEM are what really set him apart from the rest.
Driftworks I’m sure once Craig mods the back box it will sound a bit better. Also, to be fair, the bar was set pretty high considering the original glorious Aston sound!
Awesome build Craig, you have a knack for making this stuff look way too easy haha. Do you possibly have a bit more info on the interchiller setup you have put together? possibly part numbers of the Tesla cooler and TX valve you used? I love how compact it is and im keen to see how effective it is on the intake temps. The interchiller kits we can get over here in Australia work great but are pretty big and not cheap. Any help or advice would be great mate.
I am really interested in how they managed to get canbus stuff to work. I am glad they got everything looking stock. That makes it look cool, not some janky digital dash.
Looks like Jays Corona Virus 🦠 is spreading! Great video and awesome progress and workmanship. Can’t wait to see it finished, will be the best LS converted and possibly best Aston ever 👍😍
killer chiller , and interchiller , are 2 US made kits that are pretty successful . the killer chiller kit has whats called their drag package , which isolates the AC and dedicates its energy to the chiller , and not to cabin . further exaggerating its effect .
Sounds brilliant and everything works! Craig says how much Carl from emerald and his other mate helped him with wiring. Is there a chance we could meet Carl from emerald and perhaps his electronic mate to do a an overview on how he has got the systems to talk to each other. Throttle body, ABS etc. We can all do the mechanical engine swaps albeit probably not quite to this machining level but really really really need help with the electronics. I will buy 3 Emerald computers for current projects immediately and 1 per month after that off Carl if he can come over to Craig's and walk us through what he did. Please....... I have a 6 litre in a Vito van as my daily and it is amazing. Would love to have the dash work properly etc.

@@craigtaylor5075 thanks Craig. Yes we did ok but some lost alot poor buggers. So I have researched how to sniff the can bus but the re sending of the correct bus to the GM throttle for instance from the Mercedes pedal I can't understand. looks like it belongs. i'd be so tempted to make this a pure race car with no compromise. props for keeping it a GT car.
That would ruin it IMO. But then I have got old recently & love a good road car that I don't need ear defenders to drive.
I can't wait to see this thing finished. Awesome stuff.
