I fear this will be the spritual successor to the Division, and the way that was lauded as it was only to disappoint so many of us. The original tech demo was the best part of the whole thing, and it never met that level again, I seriously hope that Outlaws doesnt do what the Division failed with Especially with making everything season pass this and loot crate that, gaming nowadays feels like a chore, I really hope this doesnt do that.

I agree. But if you've watched any of the other gameplay demos that various influencers uploaded to TH-cam the graphics look way crappier. This feels more like an advertisement for nvidea/intel instead of an actual "gameplay" trailer.
It's a good base to work on mods for the upscale the rest of it like explosions and proper ragdoll physics though. Hopefully nexus mods releases some golden fixes to create the game everyone deserves

Please upload 21:9 content in proper 21:9 format so that it looks "right" on 21:9 displays. Since the entire game has this lovely ultrawide format, it's as shame to see it with black bars on top/bottom and left/right on 21:9 displays. Other than that, lovely stuff! Can't wait to play. But the 21:9 issue is really ruining the experience of this PC Gameplay trailer.

I think they added the 16/9 mention because the entire trailer was presented in 21/9 and they wanted to point out you CAN play the game in a standard aspect ratio.
Kudos to Ubi for making the effort on PC. Sure, it's not hitting the highs of the visuals of Avatar: FOP, but it's still looking great. Except the main character. I still think a mod to fix the uncanny face will be very welcome.

It's Avatar 2.0.
As someone that's boycotting all ubisoft products because of the social engineering propaganda, this really saddens me to see. I've willingly spent so much money on purchasing amazing games from this company throughout these many years, and to see the company spiral out of control like this is very sad. I'm pretty sure that those Intel specific performance optimizations are the result of Intel paying Ubisoft a bunch of money, so that Ubisoft would optimize Star Wars Outlaws to properly use not just the performance cores (P-cores) on 13th and 14th gen Intel CPUs, but also the efficiency cores (E-cores). If nothing else, it should be interesting to see how much difference those optimizations make to overall performance. You can probably test it by comparing how the game runs when E-cores are enabled vs when E-cores are disabled.

Please upload 21:9 content in proper 21:9 format so that it looks "right" on 21:9 displays. Since the entire game has this lovely ultrawide format, it's as shame to see it with black bars on top/bottom and left/right on 21:9 displays. Other than that, lovely stuff! Can't wait to play. But the 21:9 issue is really ruining the experience of this PC Gameplay trailer.
This isn't a gameplay showcase this is just some tech showcase no one care about, and showing that you can tune your graphics and modify your keybind is just useless every game that came out in the last 15 years do the same

I think they added the 16/9 mention because the entire trailer was presented in 21/9 and they wanted to point out you CAN play the game in a standard aspect ratio.
Kudos to Ubi for making the effort on PC. Sure, it's not hitting the highs of the visuals of Avatar: FOP, but it's still looking great. Except the main character. I still think a mod to fix the uncanny face will be very welcome.

As someone that's boycotting all ubisoft products because of the social engineering propaganda, this really saddens me to see. I've willingly spent so much money on purchasing amazing games from this company throughout these many years, and to see the company spiral out of control like this is very sad. I'm pretty sure that those Intel specific performance optimizations are the result of Intel paying Ubisoft a bunch of money, so that Ubisoft would optimize Star Wars Outlaws to properly use not just the performance cores (P-cores) on 13th and 14th gen Intel CPUs, but also the efficiency cores (E-cores). If nothing else, it should be interesting to see how much difference those optimizations make to overall performance.
You can probably test it by comparing how the game runs when E-cores are enabled vs when E-cores are disabled.
Can't wait to not own another Ubisoft game. At least this one I can just watch someone else stream it.
