You can still have a good enjoyable game. As a Star Wars fan I think outlaws offers the best experience of the galaxy for sure. Now give me a game like this as a Jedi or Sith pls

As much as I would love that, it's not realistic and I think if you manage your expectations on what to expect from an open world Ubisoft game and how that plays, (as its essentially the same formula across their other AAA games in the last decade) and crucially remain open minded, I don't think you can go wrong. As someone who loves open world games and have covered several on the channel, I enjoyed my time with it and would recommend it to anyone who likes Star Wars and is up for a casual gaming session in that open world (when the price tag comes down as its too much for what it currently is). I gotta add my two cents, firstly WOW! This game rocks! I hope they add the alliance as a faction as there's a galaxy wide war going on, 2nd, man I hate disney, they won't let them use the music! 3rd, I hope we get to do epic stuff like in the movies, and I'm surprised there's not more eqster eggs, the environment is super rad! I like it.
Good stuff. Really loving this game so far, they nailed the vibes of the universe exceptionally well, and sneaking around stealing stuff and taking guys out with Nix hasn't gotten old, at least not in my first 12 hours. The faction system is a lot of fun, and the story is tropey but at least engaging enough for me to want to see it through.

Why cant they make a star wars open world game where you start off as a neutral player and depending on the decisions you make in game steer you in any direction you want , that being a Jedi, a smuggler (similar to this), or the evil route and become a sith lord. Finding all sorts of blasters and lighstabers, and force abilties all throughout the worlds. Only being able to use the lightsabers if you have taken the Jedi or Sith route. This would give the game so much more replay ability and variety!!

I was turned away from this game because of reviews. I got Ubisoft+ to binge some far cry games and went ahead and installed this. I love it personally
There are actually a decent amount of strategy that are hard to find for this game's stealth part,sincd its a major part of the game: 1)You can shoot out the cameras using your pistol's ion module without having to be spotted; 2)Some mission will fail immediately if the alarm was triggered which feels like forced stealth mission,yet there are some smart ways to go around it; 3)You can break tkhe alarm panel using the ion module of your pistol or using nix. Regular enemies like stormtrooper or gang members can only trigger alarm using these panels; 4)Officers can trigger the alarm at anywhere, probably using their own comms; 5)So there is a solid strategy you can use in these missions:take out the officers in silent, shoot the cameras with ion module to disable them and breaking the panels in silence before you start a blaster conflict.That's actually quite a smart way to combine stealth and battles, but they didn't wrote it anywhere in the game so you will have to discover it on your own. Sadly most people didn't find out these highlights in the machanism, and the game just feels trashy without them.

Im personally absolutely loving it. Seems people.just hate on anything ubisoft these days and I dont get it. Massive have pulled it out the bag... love getting lost in the world and exploring it organically.. works really well. Ive been a star wars fan since i was kid with the originals and this game just gets the vibe spot on. And the fact its not another souls like clone is good..not all games need to be brutially hard
I am enjoying my time with the game I just got the Toshara the Wreck quest done and met our droid buddy... I would say it's an 8/10 there's some odd design choices and some frustrating bits but people seem to not want to hear something is decent but flawed they want hate because it gets clicks
i really hope Massive end up revamping the melee combat and allows you to keep the guns you pick up alongside getting rid of mission stealth requirements those three changes will make the game so much better. All the negative reviews around this game focus on those 3 things. I've been having a blast just getting lost in the world they have built sure it is nothing groundbreaking at all and the price of admission is steep but it is defiantly not as bad as the reviews are making it out as, there's some fun to be had here exploring and blasting enemies.
Great video as always mate. Very informative. Playing it atm through ubisoft+. Its a fun game but definitely buggy on pc. Very useful tips and has helped me decide what to go after on the first planet since theres a decent amount of side quests and things to explore

I loaded it up whole in work so I'm assuming a first day patch probably downloaded then (it would not be AAA game on PS5 without a first day patch! 😉). Most games are good games when you don’t have a little bitch in your ear saying how bad the game is. I’ve been a gaming expert for over 30 years. This game is a lot of fun. Not a 5/5 like Witcher or Baulders Gate but it’s fun and especially worth it for $18.

The game is okay, but they could have done so much better. Whoever decided on this story over a Jedi, bounty hunter, or sith needs fired.
The first thing you should do in this game. Is wait for a 75% off sale & a few months for them to fix it. If you bought a TV with bugs you would return it.
So far, 20+ hours in, I like the game, it feels star wars, han solo like, no problems for me so far, it feels splinter cell, meets assassin creed in star wars.
Meanwhile I'm still in Toshara lol asking my time with all the content and side quests. Don't feel like I'm scratching the surface at 15hrs of gameplay
as someone whose been following Andy since AC Valhalla, I know that he becomes unwell during the week of game releases because he's crunching so hard (heard this on a hogwarts legacy stream) so I dont think he has very much, which I respect lol

honestly for people on PC i recommend holding off for a month or two until the modders get their hands on it..modders will be the only saving factor this game will have..or wait until a price drop cause holy shit it aint worth any amount the current editions cost..
All comes down to personal preference mate, if you've played an open world Ubisoft game before and you're familiar with how their games work as well as the post launch content (Season Pass DLCS), then go with the gold version as you'll get 2x expansions within the next 12 months to play (you'll spend more if you buy the base game, enjoy it, and then pay for the expansions down the line when they come out). If you're new to their formula, it may be worth trying the Ubisoft+ subscription for $14.99 for one month without dropping significant cash on the game, giving it a go and perhaps moving forward with a purchase when it inevitably comes on sale in a few weeks time. I've genuinely enjoyed my time with it so far, but totally your call on game editions as its largely down to personal preference, hope this helps mate!
Thanks for the video! Do you feel this is a true open world game? To me it seems half open world and the other half a guided platform like the previous Jedi survivor/fallen order but I’m only two hours in so maybe it hasn’t opened up yet.

I don't have a manual save button, does it unlock later? I see a lot of people complaining about it being too long between check points and there being no manual save. Was surprised when i saw in your video a save button i don't have.
Are you aware the soft lock glitch on PS5 once I leave a planet I can’t land on another planet. I’ve tried shutting down my PS5 and loading a different save
yeh mate, I thought the same. I need to re-test this over the weekend though as there has been confirmation by Ubi about restarting the game because of bugs, so perhaps it reverts to normal (no need to have it inactive)
Small correction: You *can't* save *anytime* - when you are in hostile territory like a base or a stronghold, saving is disabled and you have to rely on the auto saves.

Am I the only one who don't get how to get an assault rifle in your inv or at least not dropit it every time when doing any action (climbing leader, taking staff ect.) or its just that stupid made? 😅
Its a buggy mess. In the first hour it locked up on the loading screen 3 times. One of the lockups made me repeat a whole section I had already finished. Spend your money else where until this gets patched.

1) Dont need to kill Deathtroopers in fact. Just steal the key card and use it on terminal
2) Autolockpicking still counts towards achiev.
You need to kill them to get an upgrade.

So far, 20+ hours in, I like the game, it feels star wars, han solo like, no problems for me so far, it feels splinter cell, meets assassin creed in star wars.
Meanwhile I'm still in Toshara lol asking my time with all the content and side quests. Don't feel like I'm scratching the surface at 15hrs of gameplay

as someone whose been following Andy since AC Valhalla, I know that he becomes unwell during the week of game releases because he's crunching so hard (heard this on a hogwarts legacy stream) so I dont think he has very much, which I respect lol

honestly for people on PC i recommend holding off for a month or two until the modders get their hands on it..modders will be the only saving factor this game will have..or wait until a price drop cause holy shit it aint worth any amount the current editions cost..

All comes down to personal preference mate, if you've played an open world Ubisoft game before and you're familiar with how their games work as well as the post launch content (Season Pass DLCS), then go with the gold version as you'll get 2x expansions within the next 12 months to play (you'll spend more if you buy the base game, enjoy it, and then pay for the expansions down the line when they come out). If you're new to their formula, it may be worth trying the Ubisoft+ subscription for $14.99 for one month without dropping significant cash on the game, giving it a go and perhaps moving forward with a purchase when it inevitably comes on sale in a few weeks time. I've genuinely enjoyed my time with it so far, but totally your call on game editions as its largely down to personal preference, hope this helps mate!

Thanks for the video! Do you feel this is a true open world game? To me it seems half open world and the other half a guided platform like the previous Jedi survivor/fallen order but I’m only two hours in so maybe it hasn’t opened up yet.

keep the ring for a quest mate & selling all valuables means you sell stuff you don't need, hope this helps

Small correction: You *can't* save *anytime* - when you are in hostile territory like a base or a stronghold, saving is disabled and you have to rely on the auto saves.
I wish I knew they’d send me an email saying that on ps5 an old build of the game was pushed out and for me to update and restart the game.

You get the power module regardless of what planet you go to.
Its a buggy mess. In the first hour it locked up on the loading screen 3 times. One of the lockups made me repeat a whole section I had already finished. Spend your money else where until this gets patched.
