Revlon colorstay oily/combo is my favorite foundation. It works for my skin during harsh winter and hot summers. It’s super long lasting and smooth and fades so gracefully. I went swimming in this foundation and the water didn’t not cause it to break up or look patchy. It’s super long lasting. Honestly they foundation is a miracle. My skin is so picky with foundations but it really likes this one.

I love the estee lauder so much, the only foundation that doesn’t crease or fade in my nose area and the only foundation I’ve tried that withstand the heat and humidity in my city, but It’s so expensive, I wanna try something from the drugstore, can you do a comparisson video of EL and revlon combo/oily skin?
I know, it's really in a league of its own. Great idea for a video! In the meantime, I will tell you this one is about 65% as good in terms of creasing/fading/longevity as the double wear...it's not in the same league but it's good for the price.

I really did not like the formula when they added softflex and stopped buying it. The original was amazing. Will try the new formula again with hyaluronic acid. The EL Double Wear became so expensive in South Africa. Thank you for this review
Oh I know, I hate reformulations, they drive me crazy! That said, it seems to be working similar to the old one, good luck on your end!
@@HelenAvery So I bought the Revlon Colourstay foundation for normal/dry skin as I am over 50 (although my skin is combination). I did not like it at first as it felt a bit dry but after about a week I am absolutely loving it. It does say that your skin's quality will start to look better day after day. My skin is starting to look smooth and radiant. So happy I found a foundation which about 1/3 of the price of Estee Lauder's double wear foundation. I don't use a primer (you are not supposed to with this foundation). Thanks again for your review

Did the reformulation affect the longevity? I heard it’s not as long lasting as the old one.
It didn't seem to? I really can't tell any difference and I wonder if some of the reformulation was just hyping up ingredients that didn't really change anything in terms of wear. Personally if they hadn't changed the packaging I wouldn't have known the difference.

It’s just i’ve had trust issues with the skincare reformulations, the infallible for example, I loved the old formula almost as good as the Estee Lauder, but I didn’t like the new one with niacinamide, it creases a lot and fading on my nose about couple of hours, that’s why I’m stucked with Double wear foundation for a long day makeup.

Maybe we should all buy a bottle of EA Sunflowers to help the Revlon cause! 😂😂 for nostalgia sake I took a sniff of sunflowers at a rexall recently and instantly felt nauseous 🤮 How did my poor parents and teachers for that matter live through the 90’s ?? 😝 I was a bomb of Exclamation, Vanilla Fields and Sunflowers from grade 8-12 😂

What’s your shade in Estee Lauder double wear
Hi! It's 2C3 Fresco (the one you see me wearing in all these videos when I am wearing double wear) but my shade that's a true match is 2N2 Buff. Hope that helps?
This is the only foundation that didn’t get me oily but I don’t like the neutral shades I need more warmer shades
Hmm yes, I find their shade selection a bit lopsided too. Even this one is not a perfect match, it's just close enough that I can get away with it.
