Thanks, Sakitech, for the great, educational video! - Agree, in order to eliminate screen bezels/wires from three 27" monitors, purchased a 43" LG monitor and divided screen in four equal 20" quadrants!
It's a Samsung, it won't give you problems.....SAMSUNG RULES! These people put screens on fridges...this is all in day's work for them Awesome monitor,......enjoy it!
Don't kid yourself...Samsung has a HISTORY of high defect rates across all of their products. Don't get me started on the home appliances. Hell the Note 8 could be used as a small nuclear weapon. I'm sure you'll be a Samsung apologist and blame other reasons for their lack of quality control, amd it is what it is...
@@nev963 I mean they're right though. However Samsung also does correct their errors and once that awkward period of faulty hardware is passed their products are generally great. I wouldn't say I'd trust everything they release though. Their reputation is spotty for a reason
Saki, could you please do another quick video going through your PC component set up to see what GPU is required to run that curved screen and what is your internet speed which is also important. Thanks brother!!
I am getting this monitor. I also have an ailienware aroura r13 with a rtx 3060ti coming. The rtx 3060ti can drive this display at dqhd 240hz but I expect it to drop the refresh rate a little bit when playing demanding games. I'm planning to upgrade the graphics card it two or three years once the technology improves and graphics cards become available. I will let you know how the 3060ti works with this display when I get it set up.
Whose with me. Samsung displays are great. From sharp screen resolutions to a wider canvas for work and play. Tell me where else you'll ever get such a monster display..It makes the 24'' iMac look useless.
In regards to PIP, does it have to be 2 seperate DEVICES? Or can it simulate 2 seperate desktops within Windows? I currently run a dual 1440p setup and want to be able to retain that with a single ultrawide.
Have they sorted out the flickering issues yet. Thinking of getting the neo but it still has issues and the latest firmware has sorted out the bad HDR issues but that's it. Not interested in the old g9 as that has even more issues with backlight and blooming also flickering along with black's not being black. So not really a good review from this person as he hasn't really talked about the cons of it.
@@mhillenaar Thanks for the link but i have seen this weeks ago it's just sometimes people say these things just to make you buy them. Do you recommend this over other monitors at the moment i have a wide screen 21.9 Asus and its on its way out as its the old wide screen with no hdr and only 60 hz as the overclocking to 100 hz don't work now as it just give me bad lines all over my screen. Looking for 4k but 27/28 are to small the g9 neo looks more to what i want for gaming but all the issues it did have puts me off.
@@bioshock6935 I am extremely happy with my Neo, friends are amazed by it as well... I would buy it again. The curve, the HDR2000, the240hz... I love it.
Dear friend, I sent you a direct message by Twitter concerning the Black Equalizer feature.... I hope it helps in case you have same issue than me. Great work.. keep it going.
I personally find the high curvature a bit too much I much prefer the CRG9 49 which admittedly is only 120 Htz but has a significantly lower curve and I find this far better for running side by side screens.
For a monitor like this, I would buy a fully loaded Alienware gaming PC (or build it myself) ... which would be at least $2500 but could go to 4 or 5 grand. My PC build is around $3500.

That looks dope Sakitech
I'm glad you got this because you are my most trusted reviewer and I've been considering this. (Wondering why you didn't get the Neo)
Very nice Saki!
How has it been holding up after 5 months? Any issues? Thanks!

What operating system is it running on or do you have to connect it to a laptop or computer to use it?
Thank you.

I know nothing about Gaming, just happened to see this... why are 3 monitors needed in the first place? just curious.
I used them for multi-tasking but they took too much space on my desk.
@@sakitech...that's a very vague answer, I'll reiterate... why is 3 screens (or one LONG screen like Samsung's) necessary for.... oh never mind✌
