Small reminder: Marine STILL IS ome of the top Coin farmers, because the nerf of the stamp CRIPPLED EVERY OTHER FARMER since no one has a reliable integrated way to get coins outside said stamp. So while the coin farming got hit, Marine in fact still came ON TOP ALL OTHER COIN FARMING CHARS. The nerf itself only put a harsher practical cap on everyone's coin total per farming session, of which Marine is still hitting the best theoretical top while everyone else languishes at the sheer degree of how likited their coin farming has become.
Marine with Super Super Chatto time GENUINELY feels like cheating. I usually skip all holozon boxes until I'm at 6 items and only get one item that could go super just to slightly increase the chance to get it. Also, her ult seems to knock coins out of targets
Since the hitbox is smaller that the character sprite I'd love to have a Graze counter in this game. Ideally also with the "tak" sound effect when a bullet is grazed.
Marine's weapon has two parts, the cutlass/anchor is melee and the pistol's bullets/hearts are ranged. Shades work with the bullets/hearts, but not with the cutlass/anchor.
its more about how focused you are about unlocks n matching collabs. the characters do not matter at all. so wont even go with "what ever suits your play styl". - you want to max: exp, atk speed, gold as your initial passives. - i excidently crafted elite cooking (spider cooking + lava bucket) in my very first run, n it became my signature move. its way too strong. - however i prefer chars that cover alot of space. from the 5 starters? calliope. my absolute favo: Ayame (kabuki mask n 2 katanas)
Kiara is a very good character to start out with. Very tanky, has great movement speed which will come in handy when learning how to out-maneuver enemies, as well as kite them (moving away from a cluster of enemies while bunching them all up to swiftly take them all out), which her Trailblazer skill encourages you to do. She also has a great basic weapon and an easy-to-understand ideal build, which is maxing out her HP with stuff like Jingisukan, Just Bandage, Piki Piki Piman, etc.
Fauna is good for carrying you through more difficult stages until you get enough upgrades to feel comfortable with other characters. Her main weapon kind of sucks until you max it out but it comes very good when it is maxed out, her ult lets you easily escape a crisis situation, and her healing is also her damage with Guardian Tree, meaning unlike everyone else her DPS increases from investing in healing rather than it being a tradeoff. Mumei is also a damage monster who is pretty easy to use and has some in-built healing. In general any character with a healing skill will be easier to use than those who don't.
I wonder how many takes it took to say Marines skills with a straight face.
Very fitting making the hardcore Touhou fan play like a Touhou character
Something to note; Marine's Ultimate counts for Pirate Captain skill, meaning you can use it to get a huge chunk of Holocoins when farming

Reine, those hands are rated E for everyone.

Oh my god, they made Marine's optimal playstyle similar to Touhou.
Fitting for a Touhou player isn't it?

Just another addition, Bomb stamp is essential for her coin farming as it can hit multiple fans and each hit can also proc crit and drop coin.
im surprised people found marine to be a better coin farmer then peko-
You can use Shades for Marine's weapon??? wha???

@@Saurusama Had no idea different parts of different weapons had seperate properties
Bro did not pass the vibe check on theNuclearCoffeeTeam's video
is there no definite best character for starting out? like for stage 2 and 3 until you get some stuff rolling?
